Sprint Galaxy s3 no okay google? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello, I just joined this forum and was looking for an answer to my question by couldn't seem to find it so I figured I'd post.
I have a 16gb Sprint Samsung Galaxy s3, SPH-L710 and I have been trying to get the ok google voice to work with no luck. Can anyone tell me why not? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling google now launcher, I even tried downloading google search but it constantly says not installed. I've tried using the voice settings in the launcher but it doesn't want to bring up voice recognition, why is this?

Upgrade voice talk
if you are rooted delete all the voice talk apps and download samsung apps. You will need to extract it from an i9100 rom. if you get it to work just search voice talk download and install.

you can use "talk installer" to do so
it worked for me.
there's some other thread about this, or else just google "task installer"
Folks, found good "nimbuzz". You can talk with your gtalk account.

google voice

Just wondering if anyone has used Google voice for voicemail alone while running imperium. The guide I saw for setting it up said there was an option to choose Google voice instead of my carrier but I can't seem to find that option. Thanks

I also could not find the option to choose Google Voice instead of My Carrier. All that does is change the number that is dialed when you long press the "1". I was able to change it easily with my Nexus S 4G but cannot locate where to change it on my LGOG. I am not rooted and compltely running stock. Thanks! :good:

Can anyone develope a google voice integartion into touchwiz dialer

Hi,
I'm on the Moar Rom and was wondering if anyone can create an integrated dialer with google voice. The first integration I would like is the ability to see voicemails in the call log. This is available on stock android by setting it in google voice app but doesn't work with the touchwiz dialer. The second integration I would like is for the bottom left button be able to launch the google voice app. Thanx in advance
I don't believe so. But that's sorta what a voice is lol.. Say call who ever and it will
Your confusing Google search/now with google voice. Thanx though

Nah sorry man. Stupid typo. I meant S VOICE.
It still doesn't seem like you read my original question, or you just don't know what Google voice is. Thanx though

[Q] Google Now keeps wanting to install?

Hi all
I don't have Google Now installed.
But when I want to use Google regular search, either from the search bar on top of homescreen or from the app drawer, Google Now keeps trying to install itself. Can I permanently remove Now? And just have regular search?
It is almost like Google Search is advertising Now, but I don't want it ask me to install Now every time, I just want to go straight to search.
Even hitting the microphone opens the Google Now install window, then I must hit the back button to go back to regular search.
This is for CM10.1
Thanks
Heeter
Uh Google search is Google now, that's the evolution of search, the only way I know to not get Google now is to search from Google Web page if you install Google search it is all your going to get.

Interesting and I've never noticed that before but I've never not had a reason to.
Looking at the app, Google Now is what Google has built their app around. You can go to your browser and do a search without getting this issue correct?

Perhaps try turning off the history?
It says it "may" disable functions such as Google Now, but I doubt it can be disabled. Search from webpage is my guess.
