I have downloaded a few watch faces that have the weather on them but all I see is #wct#. Any ideas on how to fix?
I had the same issue. What I found to work was this:
In settings select manual location and put in a zip code
Close (FC or swipe away the app) then reopen facer
Go back into settings (usually not necessary)
Watch should be displaying weather. Make sure you have the latest version from play store.

Cool deal. Note that sometimes weather doesn't seem to update. Watch reboot usually fixes it, but sometimes requires the same 'swipe away, go into settings' to force a refresh.

Try swiping or FCing the facer app, then go back in, open settings and go back out. That forces a refresh.

Doesn't happen all that often, at least for me. Of course weather is definitely a bit buggy...work in progress. Price we pay for being 'early adopters' so to speak. I can't bring myself to be frustrated.

Shouldn't be, once a default is set only a change in the apps that are of the same class will trigger the prompt again. So it sounds like maybe one of your apps is updating which triggers the question again.

Some possible remedies:
1.You could try to clear the cache in recovery or in the all apps menu, and then restart the phone.
2.I wouldn't recommend this but you "could" freeze LG home, but it might cause things to crash, I haven't tried yet. I know on my Note 3 it would. 3.You could also try to uncheck the box, then restart the phone and recheck it.
4.Lastly you can go into Nova settings and set it as your default from there and see if that helps.
Does anyone know how to change this on my pixel. Mine came out of the box showing the date but I'd much rather it showed the weather.

Took me a bit to figure this out as well. Surest way I found to get weather was to swipe right into the Google Feed and pull to refresh.
I've had the weather revert back to date after a reboot. Refreshing Google Feed fixed that as well.
I had to go into to google assistant settings and change weather cards from no to yes. After I did that the weather shows up in the upper right corner of launcher home screen.
Thanks guys.

It didn't change until I asked Google what the weather was.

I'm cant get the weather to appear either. It did after Pixel Launcher updated, but went away again after I powered down the phone for the night.
Location is enabled. Cards are enabled with show weather for location.

Swipe to Google now and pull to refresh. When the weather updates it updates and main screen with the weather. Each time you restart the device, this will happen. I'm sure it's a bug. At least I hope it's not intended to be that way.

You can check in the setting screen on Google now. Click customize and then select everything else. Check if all your weather option are set to yes.
Mine has just started showing up with the weather on there too. Noticed it a couple of hours ago.
I had done all of the steps people had mentioned previously a few days ago but nothing worked at the time.
So basically my advice would be to:
1. Do everything people have already mentioned in this thread (enable cards, refresh and update pixel launcher).
2. Sit back, with a nice cold beverage and wait. It'll show up sooner or later
I've seen a few of these suggestions around but I had to go digging to find the solution to why I couldn't get it to work for me. I'm going to give a list of things to try.
Update pixel launcher in the play store. You may not be able to see it in your apps so you might have to search for it or go to this link on your device:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher
Swipe to the Google screen to the left and pull down to refresh
Toggle location off then back on using quick settings
Open the google page to the left and use the hamburger menu and select customize.
Select "everything else" at the bottom. Find anything that says weather and set it to yes.
The last one was my solution. I forgot that I had disabled these way back when Google Now was new.
If Google is derping in your country this is the most recent version of Pixel Launcher

Those were all Yes already.
I have found a reliable solution, at least for me. Location must be set to "High accuracy".
Weather would go away after every reboot if set to "Device only". Seems strange considering that the weather appears fine on the card itself just "Device only".

I've been loving this phone since Saturday but came across an issue that I can't figure out how or why it's happening and to solve it. When I'm downloading a some what large file, I'll turn the screen off and after a certain amount of time Nougant will pause my download. While I love the ability to easily pause and cancel downloads finally, it's getting quite annoying have to check my phone ever 15min to make sure it's still downloading. I'm not sure the length of time yet for it to auto-pause my downloads, but it constantly happens.
Any suggestions on a way around this or how to fix it? Marshmallow didn't do this on my 6p.
Thanks!!

Try going to Settings --> Battery --> (top right 3 dots) --> Battery Optimize --> All Apps --> Downloads --> Do not optimize.
Only thing I can think of is the new Doze and sleep features kick in since they are set automatically to optimize. Try that and see if it helps.

Thanks for the help and to think I thought I've been thru all options. Just went and changed it and will test it out and report back. If it doesn't work, I'll change the Chrome option as well too.
Thanks!
Ended up pausing again so I turned it back on and turned off optimization on Chrome and I'll see what happens.
I've had this problem on a number of Android phones from various manufacturers but haven't found the cure yet. A reboot usually cures it for me.

I'm having exact same problem but I have a galaxy note 4.Downloading large files always pauses in chrome and cm browser but it never happens in stock internet app(samsung default browser).
I have whitelisted both browsers but that doesn't solves the problem for me.
Are there any other solutions?

If I just exit Chrome, download still works. If I close out the app, it'll pause and I'll have to go hit resume. Maybe yours is same way?
Over the last several weeks (possibly since the last update), my Launcher feeds aren't consistently displaying. I just get a blank Google screen when I swipe left.
If I open the Google app, then the feeds show up. Refreshing the screen isn't correcting the issue, and I confirmed my settings are all turned on.
Happening to me also.
Deleted data/cache fixes it temporarily
Same here, I just reboot and it works for a while
Same here, usually if I clear cash and stop app then go back and swipe everything pops back up. Weird, thought it was just me.

I had this same issue myself and I actually used the google help and after trying everything I ended up going to settings then apps go to Google app or you can go to play store and google app then disable and uninstall updates then reinstall and reboot after doing it and it has seemed to completely fix the problem for me this is going on the third day it has not randomly disappeared on me. I hope it helps guys.
Reporting back that ruling back Google and updating it again has fixed it so far. Hopefully it holds
Same here. Google is turning into a ****ing joke. This is the 4th update this month that ****s something up for me.
The security patch has literally ruined Bluetooth usage for me. Then they update Chrome and I can no longer cast embedded videos from Chrome. Then I get the Google update and it screws up the feed. Now I get the music update and it kills the equalizer almost all the goddamned time.
What a ****ing joke.
After 24 hours, it failed again ?

Hi,
I also had issues and did not recieve messages on my watch... (see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-watch/help/messages-arriving-watch-t3510071)
Did your recently reset your phone to factory settings?
Because the new version of Android Wear is asking for permissions to recieve notifications.
I did everything but the solution was simple for me:
Open the Android Wear app and on startup page there should be a blue notification which says something like klick here to enable notifications...klick this button and allow the notification permission and everything should work fine now.

I'm having the same problem only I've done all of the above and it's still not working.
Notifications work for everything except messages and gmail.
It's only been doing it since the watch updated to Android Wear 2.5.
I have reset both the phone and the watch to factory, deleted and reinstalled the apps and still nothing.

It's obvious now that the current Android Wear app on the phone needs to be updated to become compatible with the 2.5.
My workaround to this issue was, which I've tested many times and worked so far, finger crossed!:
1-Turn the watch off
2-Turn the Bluetooth off on the phone
3-Turn the watch on completely
4-Turn on the Bluetooth on the phone.
The first notification will take 3-4 seconds to arrive.
Excellent effort. So far that seems to be working for me. I haven't received any messages yet but I'm getting my email notifications (which I wasn't before).
Thank You

@hagba Thank you very much those step work. I also noticed that google assistant doesn't work when you send your first query. You have to ask it something, click on the little colored dots then ask it the same thing again and it works. You have to do this everytime you make any request. Annoying. I hope the knuckleheads at Google will fix these annoying issues soon.
