Case with a kick out stand - ONE Accessories

Anyone know where to buy a OnePlus One case that has a kick out stand? I have used one in various types on my last 4 phones and my kids absolutely love it when watching a movie or video. Any ideas. Pic is one I am using on my current Note 3. Thanks in advance.

I had the seidio on my note 3 and i agree. I'd love a kick stand case for the opo

I too am on that quest for a case with built in kickstand. I like the least minimal weight, not bulky and matte preferably. eBay and Amazon yielded no results.

Yep not finding anything frustrating

I emailed seidio and asked if they have any plans on making one.
I'll report back if/when they reply.

This is what I want; big phone needs a kickstand I think. Naked right now; would prefer not to be.

I have also scoured the internet looking for a case of this nature. All I can find are those crappy leather cases that fold over for a "kickstand."

It would be easier to find Waldo before finding a kickstand case. I have had one on every phone I had... Thanks to my OG Evo for causing this OCD......
I too would like to know when one is found- please light this thread up which ever one of you stumble across one... Until then Godspeed!

Had a response back from seidio. Which was good of them this was what they had to say.

Nice! I sent the request for this in as well today, that way they at least know there is an interest. II found an alternative that may be able to accomodate in the meantime. I'm not over the moon by any means, but willing to give it a go. Found a site called SlideStand. You just adhere it onto an existing case. I will post a review back here when it arrives. Again, can't be super enthused considering the curvature of the 1+1, but crossing fingers. It's a little something... Until then.

SlideStand Review
Since there are no cases out with a kick stand, and the slidestand I found seemed to be the quickest and easiest alternative, I have since received and give a run for the money. I waited for a while as to see if it would stand up to the test so to speak.
PROS:
Fits any phone, any case.
Comes in several colors
Relatively cheap
STURDY! I cannot believe how sturdy mine is.
Hinders absolutely zero phone functions.
Adjustable
CONS:
A little thick when applied (see pics)
Once stuck on, it stuck on. You can always get glue to transfer, but...
Shipping is a little slow
All in all, this add-on kickstand is a great device. I can get over the added thickness of laying my phone flat because I already rarely set it that way. I ordered the kick stand for a reason. This is a sturdy add-on that performs great. Wish it was the real deal and a case in itself, but this does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Impressed with the design and the ability ti adjust the angle of the phone with by the click-in-place design. Would I get another one? Yes, but don't really like the $4 shipping charge when it comes in an envelope with like three $0.43 stamps on it. Maybe get the ugly colors that are on sale to save a buck or two.

Ya like the idea but I really don't want to make it really thick, I might have an idea with my old note 3 case so if it works I will let you all in on it ☺

Any findings on this? Surprised that no kickstand cases are available

None yet but I'm waiting on a new case and I'm making the stand from my old case so will let you know

I have also send them a request. If we could find many customers to show some interest, Seidio might think about investing in OnePlus One.

Thanks for bringing this product to my attention. They also have a deal on a free case with a order. I just placed my order. Thanks again man.
Thanks for posting, I ordered it.

I wanted to see the free case that comes with it. However, I really like the idea. I could purchase an extra back for my phone so I could just swap backs when I am leaving the house. I WISH I could see this in stores first as I have watched the video on how to tell which size to use, but I am not sure as to how far down on my fingers I would hold the phone. I also would like to see how easy it would be to pull the adhesive of; I would hate to substitute this as a case and then be out in the Texas heat with this thing on and the adhesive wear off, sending my $600 phone plummeting to its death. However, pretty good review I will keep my eyes on this accessory.
Oh, and I am also curious as to much thicker the small and medium
TL;DR: I need to see this in person first before I spend $30.

Put that good phone to use and give them a ring to make sure it is in stock before you go.
Just got this today. The thing looks quite functional, but I wonder how durable it is in the long run?
The case seems like generic black TPU, feels a bit rubbery. Although, I haven't owned a phone case in a while so I can't say. I'm on the fence about it, but will put it through its paces before passing judgment.

Training us to hold the phone is not the point. I can't even reach the Menu button or a lot of real estate on this phone much less hold it without the threat of dropping it while trying to operate one handed. With one of these my thumb will be able to reach all areas of the screen with no danger of me dropping the phone. There are many times when one-handed usage is ideal, but this phone is so large for most it's not possible. I bought one just the other day and only wish I had happened upon this thread first to get the free shipping. Did get a free case, though.

Just wondering if once on is there any method to loosen the adhesive to take it off. Due to dropping my first phone I have an extra case as well as an extra battery. I'm planning on using both cases-will place Flygrip on one and leave the other original. I'm just thinking I might not like the color (I ordered white for my blue S3) and may order another color and take the first one off.

Life Proof Case

Hey guys I have some good news. I emailed Life proof asking if they have plans for making their case for the S3 and new iPhone and this is the response I received:
Thank you for your email. Our LifeProof design team is hard at work designing cases and accessories that can accommodate the majority of devices and applications out there, including other smartphone platforms such as the Android, HTC, Galaxy and others. You can stay updated on all of our product updates and releases via our Facebook Fan page at http://www.facebook.com/lifeproofcases. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
So hopefully it shouldn't be too long before we see some of these cases hit the market. Or at least get some news.

While I would be all over a case from lifeproof, I wouldn't get your hopes up. That response is the same canned one they have been sending out for months. They keep saying they are working on other phone brands, but have yet to come out with anything. They even posted pretty much the same thing on their Facebook Page like 8 or 9 months ago.
Try SGP products, such as Argos providing full protection. It's a vertical-flip leather casing. It also gives a pure leathery feel.

You know a lot of people say that, and if I were just paddling on a lake or hanging on the bunny slope that would probably offer enough protection. (its what I do when I go to the beach) I really don't think that would even come close to the kind of coverage I would need for my uses though. Class 5 Rapids and zip lock baggies are not exactly the best of friends.
Right now I just leave my phone in my car or stick it in my dry bag and bring a waterproof Panasonic camera, and I am fine with that. It would be nice to have a lifeproof type option though, and I would be willing to pay for it.

If your looking for a waterproof solution and are able to go a few days without your phone or have a back-up check out www.liquipel.com
I originally had my Nexus S treated by Golden Shellback, but they nolonger offer individual sales. but was referred to liquipel as they do a similar treatment.
Ive yet to use liquipel but LOVED the treatment Shellback did on my Nexus.
Basically they nano coated the components of your device so rather then blocking water from getting into your phone, this treatment waterproofs the components and allows the water to flow freely thru your device without causing damage to it.
If you go this route, when you get your phone back just throw it into whatever case you want n your golden.
Why exactly do you need your phone in class 5 Rapids? Texting?

pictures, gps or god forbid something happens and you need to make an emergency phone call ?
Pictures, video, gps, music. No cell reception on the river, have to radio a Ranger station if anything goes wrong. Supposedly US Cellular just got a big grant to greatly expand cell coverage across the less populated parts of Maine, may eventually be able to text from on the water
I have read about liquipel and it sounds pretty good. It is more designed for accidental drops and splashes though it isn't truly waterproof.
A lifeproof case also seems like it would be toddler proof, that would be nice too!

Yeah I'm tempted to try liquipel, but I'm still attempting to persuade Golden Shellback to do it for me since I'm a 3x repeat customer.
Their process is similar to what liquipel does, but rather then putting the device as a whole into the chamber GSB disassembles the devices first to ensure every component is coated thoroughly during the bonding process

Update
Update on my experience with this case. I already tore the leather for the flip front cover, so to me that part is poorly made. I simply cut it off since I didn't want to see that tear all the time. On Saturday upon receiving this case I fully charged both my phone and the case and started using them both around 4 PM. With normal use for me the case died today around 10 AM and I have been running off of the phone battery every since.
I can't say that I'm going to use this case every day as it makes the phone a little bulkier than I would like, but for me, this case will come in handy more often than not. Overall, I am happy with my purchase thus far with the exception of the tear. We will see how it does after several charging cycles.
I'm not too much of a fan of flip cases. They conform you to use the device as a book or in landscape orientation. If they made a version that would flip upward like a traditional paper note pad as opposed to off to the side. definitely buy it if one was made like that. I wish mophie would make their charging cases for the note 2.

A few pics of the Sonivo Sleep Sensor Wallet Case (video soon)

Hi All,
I've attached a few pictures of the Sonivo Wallet case for the nexus 5. It also has a sleep sensor but the best way to show that is through video, will try to upload to youtube and this thread a little later today.
I've been using it for a couple days now and it's a brilliant, sleep sensor works perfectly, it's the only case I've come across that has this feature! All the additional pockets on the inside come in handy too.
It's available on amazon which is where I got mine from, arrived a day after I placed the order so they've defo got stock of these already. You can search for it on amazon "Sonivo Premium Leather Wallet Case nexus 5"
I'll try my best to get a few more pics and that video up a little later today so you can see for yourself why I think this case is so good.
If you have any questions post a comment and I'll try reply as soon as!
link on amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-Lea...1&keywords=sonivo+premium+wallet+case+nexus+5
Only thing I hate about this case is the fact that it has sim slots.

I hope they bring some of these over they look nice.
Looks nice enough for £12. Ordered one. Like the idea of a wallet. I've a dt-910 and if I could combine a wallet case that would work with QI charging I'd be happy! Happy to pay a fair bit more for something premium, suggestions anyone?

Received mine today
Well actually it's not for me but for my husband's new phone. I knew he had been looking for something with sensors so had bought this case after reading about it here. I don't usually write on forums but I thought that it might be worth sharing my 2 cents worth given that I wouldn't have found the case had it not been for coming across this xda thread.
It arrived really quickly so was able to surprise my husband with it before he flies out tomorrow. Looks like a nice case in terms of finish. Stand is easy to use and I can attest to the sleep sensors working perfectly. Obviously it's early days so might convince my husband to write a more in-depth review of it in a few weeks. The phone was easy enough to get in the case, getting it out can seem harder but I just clipped a corner out and the rest followed without effort. Test shot with the camera was fine but again it was just one pic so will see what's it's like when you need to take images on the move etc.
One thing I noticed someone mention is the SIM card holders. While I agree that I personally would have no use for them, they are definitely going to be useful for my husband who has one of these global SIM cards for when he travels. Either way I don't think they are obtrusive given that they are on the inner flap and out of sight most of the time.
Anyway let me know if anyone wants any pics posted, though I won't see the case (or my husband) for a week after tomorrow. Or even if anyone has questions...

(Video Review) Sonivo Nexus 5 Wallet Case with a Sleep sensor

Here it is guys, the review I done for this case. Absolutely in love with it.
I thought I'd share this with everyone as if you look online there really are no wallet cases in the world like this to have the sleep wake function.

Does the magnet interfere with the phone in any way? Maybe the compass or any other sensors?
[Edit] also, is the phone held snugly in the case or does it seem like I could come out with just a bit of flexing?

It's fairly easy to get the phone in and out. If you insert the case one side at a time its really easy. I normally insert the phone in from the left side then once that's in, clip the right side it. Getting it out is the same thing just in reverse. The support on the case is tough but does have a bit of allowance to allow the phone to come out.

Been using it for a few days now and haven't had any problems with it.
No movement from the phone once it's in the case. It's a hard case support thats made especially for the Nexus 5 so once the phone is in won't be going anywhere.
Hope that answers your questions.
One other question: does qi charging work with this case or is it too thick?

Seconded. This looks like the best case with an autowake cover. But it's also the only one that's not available in North America
I was curious about this wake n sleep function and played with a magnet on the phone, the sensor seems to be on the top left corner of the screen. Might glue a thin magnet into the cheapish pink wallet case my gf got for her N5 to ad this feature :good:
Where can or will Americans be able to purchase this? This case seems to be the best option and I only use wallet cases.

I have one that's similar:
http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Googl...=UTF8&qid=1384880507&sr=8-13&keywords=supcase
The only issues are (1) doesn't work with a car mount as is a frequent case problem and (2) the phone seems to get hotter with a wireless charger than the phone gets without the case on.
I'm assuming if you have this case, you have your phone in your jacket pocket.
I'm also a bit worried about the magnet for the flap, wouldn't it demagnetize your cards?
