Hi, I got stuck in fastboot mode after typing some wrong stuff into the cmd. I typed fastboot boot *some rom*
then i realised i typed wrong then i closed the cmd.
After that i flashed the correct boot img, went to cmw and flash the rom.
Now i can't boot up, i keep getting stuck in fastboot mode. I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling everything again but it doesn't help. Then i tried to restore from my backup as well but i can't
Please help!
Edit: Fixed! i realised i did the most stupidiest of things. LOL. I flashed the zip which contains the files used to flash the boot img. Scared myself over flashing something wrong. hahaha, can't believe i did that.

how do u set up the fastboot files
Hi I did exactly the same noob thing, If you view my post further down, we pretty much wrote the same around the same time.
Could I ask how you fixed it please?
I downloaded the viperx 1.0.0.zip file. which i thought was the file to push over using the cmd.
But it was that i have to unzip the file, and open to file flash-boot-windows.bat to flash the boot.img.
Hi Everyone
Sorry for my not so good English.
I have problem with my G3 and maybe someone can help? I instal root without problem, than I try to install Twrp recovery and after that I have that message ( [780] fast boot mode started) all the time, I try to do hard reset, click yes twice, but getting the same message, Is there any chance to unbrick that device when I can't go even to download mode?
Thank You very much for any suggestions
help!
help my G3 died the same thing happened!
same to me...
What model(s)? Youll need a pc, adb/fastboot, stock laf.img and boot.img for your device. Youll use adb commands to erase these img files and restore them with the new ones. Once you have adb running and recognizing your device with both files in same folder as adb you'll type adb erase laf [Enter] then adb flash laf laf.img [Enter] do the same steps for the boot.img. Next type adb reboot [Enter] you'll still be in fastboot but just pull the battery. Then replace battery and you should be able to enter download mode by inserting the usb and pressing vol +(i believe, it's been a while) and then kdz flash..

I can see a different screen for a split of a second but it's going back to Fastboot mode...
@SaharLevi
Here's the fix Quick and easy
need to have fastboot, I used ubuntu can install with sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot
info on fastboot
[TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer
also need recovery.img, I used the lastest twrp
In terminal
fastboot boot recovery.img
this will boot your phone with the img on your computer.
in recovery restore or install a good boot or kernel.
your phone should be good to go after that.
I had my phone fixed in about 5 min, I really should not play around with boot partition.
Also should be able to flash boot if you have a good one,
fastboot flash boot boot.img
HI! I recently upgraded to an lg g3 and I immediately installed twrp, and put a custom ROM on, now I want to switch back to the stock firmware. I don't have a backup of the LAF file and I can't enter download mode and fastboot isn't working. When I try to enter download mode (holding down top volume key and plugging into PC [I've tried both usb 3.0 and 2.0 with original cable]), lg logo briefly flashes on screen and blue led flickers then the screen is black and the phone shows up on my computer in device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. I wiped my phone through twrp and restored my early backup from when I had just rooted it but that didn't change anything. Now the thing is, I have twrp installed and I can enter twrp just and the phone boots into any custom rom just fine.. The phone is rooted and has twrp recovery. I need to revert to stock but I can't without download mode or fastboot. Any help would be really appreciated! How can I fix download mode? I'm on an lg vs985. ADB works as well.

Hi, I have D851 running stock 5.0 V20b, it is fully stock with no root and stock recovery, when i try to boot into download mode so I can root it, the csreen goes black and it says
""fastboot started..
Port change..
reset..""
The rest of the screen is blank.
I have the stock laf file for D851 running v20b, how should I flash it without losing my data?
Please be as detailed as possible because I get confused.

You can download all stock partitions from here
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/
If you have kdz or tot file you can also extract your recovery, laf and other partitions as well....

Hi! Im sort of new at this thread and Im a definite nooob when it comes to android stuff
I've tried to flash a pre rooted system.img as well as stock img which i got from a thread in this website
I've made sure to follow the guide thoroughly and have managed to flash the droidboot, recovery and boot img perfectly fine
But everytime I try to flash system.img the cmd prompt always says:
FAILED<command write failed <Invalid argument>>
The fastboot.exe I used has the latest version and Ive tried several times but still get the same result. I also placed all the img files in the same folder with the flashtools. Ive extracted system.img from its .zip as well
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks a lot in advance

Does
fastboot devices
gives you list with devicess connected ?
I think you havent installed properly drivers so fastboot cant install files.
I understand that everything you flash in bootloader mode on the fone.
Not in debugging mode when phone is turned on.

The phone is indeed in bootloader mode and properly connected and recognized by pc.
Entering

Shows the phone as well.
Can you please elaborate more on the drivers I need to install? Is it for the usb connection or for something else?
Thanks a lot for the reply

Guys i am facing the issue of locked out of using recovery .. need help
so i bymistakely flashed another twrp img into the current twrp from a thread and then it maybe corrupted or something for the recovery
so now i can only access the ercovery
i dont know how to move ahead with this.. i wanted to go back to stock EMUI but no files worked from even the MT servers since they gave error and so i figured to flash another twrp which would mount with pc and i can push through adb shell commands from a thread.
so currently i can access erecovery.. will be of great help if you assist.. thanks!!
i tried to see if i can access the adb devices and nothing shows and i dont know how to get it to working..
Shows error from the screen above to update system.. Will the adb commands work? I tried with the install adb and fast boot drivers on my laptop and pc.. But phone is not recognized in the cmd.. Let me know what steps to take ahead..
