Hi XDA Community,
i have a problem. I run a Fire TV in Bedroom, there is a TV with only 720p.
Can i change the resolution of the XBMC GUI?
Movies are automaticly are downsampled, but the Gui is to big. My TV cut the Borders. I search for a tutorial to change the GUI Resolution.
Go to settings,*appearance, skin and try changing the*zoom*to -4 or so.

Could someone please tell me what the stock pixel density is? I'm on CM7 and I went to update my Google Maps for this "big" update just to be told my device is not compatible. I read that some other users have this problem and that the market detects the pixel density to show available apps or something. i believe i changed mine at one point by maybe 20 or so, so if someone would be kind enough to post the stock density, that'd be pretty cool.

thanks, but what should I put in the text field? Is there any way you could download font changer from the market, hit menu click density and tell me what it is?

Get an app called Zedge
zedge is on ok app, but the wallpapers kinda suck, i just recommend to use google =)

The default resolution is 1440x1280. There aren't many wallpapers in this size besides crappy nature ones but I've found a few decent ones.

Unless I'm missing something, those programs are for video conversion, not for boot animations.
Extract the images from the boot animation and batch edit them in photoshop or something else.

I was able to extract it from system files, but it's not actually a picture, it's an MP4 file, do you still want it?
It's in SecSetupWizard2013.apk

you can change your dpi by manually editing your build.prop, or use an app like textdroider dpi.

Tried it but did nothing, may be it doesn't support latest OS as it has not been updated for a while.

This one is working, root required. Here you have some presets and you can edit the values as you like, too.
Both of these are interesting options. I am testing, there is a bit lagginess though.
