Accident - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i put the Sphinx D855 firmware on my D850. Now i can't get it to flash back to stock rom because it thinks its an 855. Any ideas?>

adb pull /system/build.prop, edit ro.product.model back to d850, adb push.
Or, if you're using lg flash tools and a tot to flash firmware, hexedit your d850 tot so it shows model as d855 which will bypass the check and allow it to proceed. Check build.prop after boot and edit back to d850 if necessary.

CrossDL D851 to LS990 in FlashTool

I GSM unlocked my Sprint LG G3 to use on T-Mobile. Everything worked great until I tried to load a stock T-mobile firmware. Phone hard bricked. I ran through a guide to unbrick the phone. The last step is to load the tot file using LG Flash tool. Every time I try to do this I get a CrossDL D581 to LS990. From reading the only solution I've found is to change the hex in the first line of the tot file to make Flash tool think it is loading the D581 tot file. Does anyone know what this change would be or another method to get this phone up and running again? Or...since phone is unlocked and was working on T-Mobile with H+ speeds a way to load a T-mobile firmware? Thanks
any solution to this question?

[Q] Bricked LS990 running on D855 firmware [Stuck at Fastboot]

Hello
I bought a LG G3 a month ago.The model was D855 and running on stock kitkat.Later i updated my phone to Marshmallow using Lg flash tool 2014 but it showed some errors [no network,no wifi,no bluetooth] and the model number converted to D855V. Then searched and found my device with LS990 motherboard and D855 casing by getting help from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/d855-converted-to-d855v-t3121183/page4
As my device is LS990 i found solution to restore it using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-how-to-restore-sprint-lg-g3-ls990-t2852042 FAILED! I tried LS990ZV4 tot with LGUP8974.dll using flash tool.So i didn't have any solution to restore it without changing current build.prop to LS990 build.prop.And for that i need root access but i failed to root my stock Marshmallow .Then i was trying to downgrade my device using D855 firmwares where stock Lolilpop worked but no MTP connection.I decided to go for stock Kitkat so that i can root and change build.prop but it occurs bootloop when i flash with stock kitkat.I tried different version of D855 kitkat firmwares but the result is same NO SUCCESS! .And today i was trying to flash another version of Kitkat firmware which caused BRICKED my phone. Now download mode is not working.Only Fastboot mode.
There are some solution to fix Download mode. But i don't know which model to try for solution LS990 or D855 ?
How can i Unbrick and restore my phone to LS990?
TIA

Refurbished LG G4 Help to get it to stock SALT?

Update: Here is what SALT gives me. https://i.imgur.com/Np6roET.png
Can someone give me some steps, which firmware to flash and how to do it with SALT
Today I bought used LG G4 with secure booting error 1003 and I though I could flash stock and get a nice phone.
The sticker under the battery says H815 and the IMEI number checks out as F500S but when I looked inside, the motherboard name was F500L Main.
The phone shows up as H815 with H81510H version. I tried LG Bridge too it showed up as F500S but it didn't want to update it after it downloaded the firmware....
Download mode works but recovery doesn't work. I tried vol. down and usb and it boots up in fastboot mode with scares information nothing much some key parts are empty but it says that the secure boot is off.
I tried latest OPEN H815 6.0.1 kdz, but I get the error 0x2000 at 9% something about trying to flash smaller ARB version. I even tried F500L TOT with LG UP and flash tool but then I get an error "invalid tot" I even tried hex editing the TOT file I changed one line from F500L to H815 but I get the same invalid Tot file. Maybe I missed some other part of the tot file..
My only option left is to get into linux and use SALT but I have no idea what to do with it. I know that I can get some information and even extract system into kdz right?
Let me know if there is fix like some DLL for flashing the F500L TOT file...

I finally fixed it.
I tried FWUL but when I had to update SALT to get ARB from kdz it had some python3 crypto module missing and I wasn't able to make it work. So I used my Lubuntu and I installed everything needed and Salt was running fully updated.
I extracted the latest MM kdz for F500L and using fastboot I flashed the MM bootstack and boot system modem(once) and the phone started to boot up to the korean android is updating screen. It bootlooped with error 1009. I assumed that the battery was working fine but nope it was totally dead.
With the charger the phone booted up and everything works even Cellular Network.
Your SALT tool saved my ass man
