Freeze the apps you don't need, and use greenify to hibernate the apps you may need.
Freeze with Titanium backup, start with the "google apps" they are not needed and can be re-downloading from playstore.
If you need i can make a list of apps you can freeze/remove?

That will be awesome. Thank you

If someone put here some list of apps that can be freezed without corrupting system that would be great.

It can be a little tricky to start freezing/remove the "LG apps" it can affect other parts.
This is a safe list.
App
ChromeWithBrowser.apk
Books.apk
Gmail2.apk
GoogleDrive.apk
Hangouts.apk
Magazines.apk
maps.apk
Music2.apk
PlayGames.apk
PlusOne.apk
talkback.apk
Videos.apk
youtube.apk
Priv-app
LGEmail.apk
LGMcAfeeMobileSecurity.apk

Here is my own list.
LG backup is removed from priv-app (removed LG backup.apk/odex) if only "frezzed LG backup" it will still show in settings and "force close" if pressed
System apps
Greenified apps

Frozen....

Titanium Backup-Restore deleted apps?

I ran a titanium backup, then I deleted a bunch of stock apps, then I ran another titanium backup in preparation to flash my first custom rom.
My question is, after I flash the custom rom and use Titanium Backup to restore my apps and settings, is it going to restore all of those apps I deleted? I opened the Titanium folder on my SD card and all of those apps appear to be listed there.

If you didnt remove them apps from the back up then yes it will restore them. There shoudl be an option if you scroll down i batch where you can see delete back ups for noninstalled apps. I would do this and it should remove the back ups of any app you previously removed but had backed up.
Careful, Titanium doesn't actually take backups of system apps, just their data. If you delete system apps you may not be able to restore them with Titanium.
Does anyone have those stock apps, so i can reinstall through titanium? And how exactly is it done... Thanks.....

ditto! Need a zip file if possible with stock apps (mainly stock.apk and widget, news.apk, newsreader, rss.apk, friendstream and widget)
as far as how it's done it depends on your phone.
run
cmd
adb push filename.apk /system/app
In TB, it shows the system apps I had deleted, and they have a line through the file name. Below each one, it says that there isnt any backup of those apps. If I open them, it only gives me the option to un-install them. Should I keep them there in case I need them when I find a way to re-install them?
Certain system apps will not reinstall even if you have a backup of them. If you uninstall Facebook for HTC Sense, for example, there is no way of reinstalling it and getting it to work again. Be careful what you uninstall.
If you pay for the TB Pro Key, you can backup system apps (the actual apk) and restore them to /system/app - I've done so anyway. You shouldn't restore them (or their data) on other roms. You can also freeze the app to test if anything will break by removing it. Freezing doesn't remove the app, just keeps it from running or showing in your app drawer. I know it's a bit pricey, but I think it was more than worth the price. Plus you get background app restores, meaning that you don't have to agree to permissions and select install for each app.
You don't have to restore everything that you backup. When you choose to batch restore (select "restore missing apps with data"), you can uncheck which apps you don't want reinstalled. I usually only restore the apps I absolutely need after a clean install, then if I need an app later I'll restore it. This helps to weed out apps you don't use. You can of course do this with the free version.
If you've removed apps and need them again, you can download the rom and extract the apps you need then push them to /system/app. Or you can just flash the rom over itself without wiping data, just wipe caches. If you're running stock you can do this with the stock rooted rom.

[Q] uninstalled apps reinstall by themselves

Hi all,
I use the last Defrost ROM on my rooted Desired.
I just installed the Defrost apps pack;
The problem is I don't want to use all those apps, but i do not succeed to uninstall some of them;
I already tried to use Titanium backup to uninstall them, but it makes the system to reboot, and does not do anithing elses on those apps;
Then I tried to delete delvik cache, and delete data/data/the_app_folder either, but norhing worked;
Actually, it seemed to work, but the apps keep working as apk packages where still installed, even if the application apk seems to be deleted from RootExplorer,
Then after a restart of the Desire, everything came back
Can you help me please ?
bye
Nico
Maybe they are in system/app. If so, they're installed as system-apps, which you can't just uninstall. You have to delete the .apk via adb or modify the rom with the Kitchen which you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246

Freezing apps with titanium backup? 3 Questions

Hi, i got this 3 questions:
1) What happens if i select reset factory settings without unfreezing the apps that where freezed with titanium backup, do they become defrosted on the reseted cell or if i don't unfreezed they will stay hidden?
2) What happens with the freezed apps if i uninstall titanium backup without unfreezing the apps that where frozed.
3) How does titanium backup freezes the apps, does it change the .apk to .bak? if not, how?.
Thanks
Anyone?
1. Your apps will go back to their original state, so if frozen, it will be unfrozen

remove preinstalled apps

I have the Bell E973 with root and am trying to remove some of the bloatware that came with it but it will not let me. I've tried deleting them manually, uninstalling with titanium backup and another app called root app delete, but it fails every time. Titanium backup pro tells me the uninstallation worked but the games are still there. if I try to delete them manually in ES File Manager its the same thing it says the files were deleted but when I back out of the system folder then go back to it the games are still there.
I finally managed to get them to uninstall but when I reboot the phone they reinstall
Rather than uninstall them you could just freeze them so that they dont show up. Or you could try Rom Toolbox.. thats what I use and it seems to work fine..

No way to remove facebook, messanger or instagram from HTC 10

Found a question that's interesting for me as well, but no answer...
Is there any way to remove those apps being stock without root? (If not, how to remove them with root?)
Also unneeded apps:
*Google
[Slides]
[Sheets]
[Docs]
[Exchange Services]
[Play Movies]
[Play Music]
[Hangouts]
[Keep]
*Social
[Facebook]
[Messenger]
[Instagram]
[News Republic]
*HTC
[Connect]
[Help]
[...]
P.S. I can understand the preinstallation of GApps, but why the heck would i like to have Facebook, Messenger and Instagram preinstalled on my system, that cannot even be uninstalled?

you have to have root. to remove them you install a file explorer with root access, like Root Explorer is my favorite.
You browse to the system folder of the phone and youll see an apps folder and a priv-app folder. the stuff your looking for will be in there and you delete the entire folder of the apps you don't want. reboot when finished and they should be uninstalled.
it will be best to start with backing up your untouched system incase removing some app gives you problems, which it can when messing with system apps.
there is also play store apps the will uninstall for you, other apps can also "freeze" bloat without actually removing so you can see side effects of removing them
You can remove them all easily without root but you'll need a custom recovery like TWRP.
I do this before first boot to clean up apps and add HTC file explorer etc.
You can flash TWRP, remove apps then restore the factory recovery.

I just disabled them on mine, not like you would free up considerable space and if they are disabled, you don't get the updates eating in to your storage as the original just sits in the system partition.

Any way to remove Facebook completely without any problems after? Was thinking to maybe just buy the Chinese Version from China since China does not allow Facebook in the first place.
