Run this App if u have not done calibration after flashing.
Last night I charged my phone to 100% which was around 4350mv, today when I woke up in the morning I had around 75% battery left (maybe to due the downloading it did last night) and I saw some my fb wall and restarted my phone. My battery level just called from 70 too 7. But when I just battery info it still had around 3950mv. -_-

Your battery is fine it seems, it needs calibration that's all. Perform caliration & let's know
OK I just putted my phone charging and will then callibrate it. Hope it get fixed!
+1
Same problem here did you find any solution..?

With me it's exactly the same thing!
I tried the same steps for you: With 50%, the phone hangs up.
What if I restart it with 70% it back to 20%.
I suspect we have problem with the battery level sensor.
Did you find any solution?

Hello everyone, I buy new battery from dealerextreeme, but there is problem. It shows 10% when it should be showing 0%. And battery status is very not accurate. Yesterday it showed 10% remain but after night there was 30%. Is there software which could fix that 10% stuck? Or I should do calibration again?

You can try the application nueDynamicClock, maybe with that you can be a little problem solved
Hi guys!
I've bought Arc about month ago and I've noticed a problem with battery percentage, it has oscillations. For example, battery is on 25% and suddenly drops to 2 or 3% and for a while battery is on 18%, or battery is on 84%, suddenly drops to 74% and soon comes back on 85%. I've restarted the phone, repaired software but the problem is still here.
Battery life is very good, average life is 36-48 hours, but there is a problem with oscillation. Can anyone tell me what should I do?
Software version is 2.3.3.
Let me search that for you http://www.google.com/cse?q=Battery...sc.tab=0&gsc.q=Battery problem Arc&gsc.page=1
Hmmm... Why didn't I think of that?
My problem isn't 0% battery or short battery life. Read my post again and than answer me.

Best way to fix it is battery calibrate....but it needs root.
And when it drops and raise 2-3% its quite normal. My Neo doing thiskind drop raise trick when I make reboot and for me its not problem

Hi Sidious
It sounds like your battery are fluctuating more than normal, a drop of 20% is definitely not normal unless you are doing allot of booting and flashing at the same time.
One cause of the smaller oscillations could be that battery is not read as often when in deepsleep to save battery life. It might have some battery level estimations when you wake up the phone that are off by a few % when the next battery reading occur. Might also be temperature changes that also change the capacity slightly.
@ ShyamSasi
Arc isn't rooted.

I'm not sure what did you mean by saying that I'm doing allot of flashing and booting at the same time?

Battery sensing module automatically calibrates when it discharge from 100% to 2% or lower. So, let it discharge a few times to 2%, and try to do a light use (no games, etc) doing this, to help fuel gauge module to detect internal battery impedance and correct the % marking.

Hi Sidious
If you had the bootloader unlocked and was flashing new kernels or firmwares. I have noticed that the phone when in "fastboot" mode do not charge but consumes allot of battery, it usually shows as a sharp drop when the phone are booted up. "fastboot" can be used to flash new kernels on the phone, but I do not think this is the problem in your case when you are running the SE provided firmware only.
I left my 8.4 charged with the wall charger over night, in the morning I found it's only 94% full, this happened multiple times, and I also tried another wall charger it still happened. The battery chart shows it stopped at 94% (some times 95%) and never went up. Does anybody has the same problem? Is there anything wrong with the battery? BTW, the battery life is not good for me, screen on for only 5-6 hrs on about 30% brightness.

stock rom, not rooted. I doubt it's caused by any app, if in that case the battery should still be fully charged then go down, but it's not what I saw.

Yes that's exactly the same as mine. I contacted Samsung support and they suggested to do a factory reset to see if it's a problem about software, otherwise I'll need to file a service request.
This happens all the time. If I reboot the tab will then show 100%.

Let it run down to 10% then recharge. do this a couple cycles. You could also try a battery calibration app that wipes the stats and starts fresh.
Solved my issue a while back.
A restart used to fix my issue but now the tab will say it's 100% charged and then at some point drop 10 or even 40% randomly.
Something is definitely wrong with the battery on this thing.
it's not the battery, but the reporting statistics used that is bugging out.

Is there any way to fix this? If it's fully charged then it should show 100%.
I have the same issue, read here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215182
I found the problem has become worse and worse, sometimes it just stopped at 30~40%, then I said "f*** it", opened the back cover, pulled the battery out and put it back, reboot. Left it charged during the night. The next morning I found it charged to 100% !! Will post back if it really solved the issue after some more cycles.

I simply let the battery drain to around 20% and then charged it fully. Ever since (1.5 months ago), it has been reporting accurate battery %.

But the problem was the battery could not be charged to 100%, even if I left it charged over night, in the morning it showed 30%.
Mine works 100% perfect on ND3..
I have tried to make it do somthing weird..
I can't see anything in the ROM coding so far that would cause this..
So over a week later and my battery has been perfect.. Stock rooted nai....
4hrs 40 mins of screen on too..
Hi. I dont know if anyone is still on this post but i have this device and ive had this problem for the last year. It would get so bad with all the discharges that my battery died. I bought another battery and replaced it. I still got -300ma when connected to a 1A chaarger. So i replaced the flexi usb port membrane in hopes that would do it but i only got to 100mA. I bought a 2.4A charger and the tab doesnt even recognize the charger is in. Cant really turn it for service because I rooted it so my warranty is void. Any commentary and opinion would be greatly appreciated.:good:
Hi all,
Last week I was using my Note and the battery totally discharged. I plugged it in, let it charge overnight but the following day, I turned it on, started to play a game, 10 minutes later, I closed the game and noticed my battery had drained to about 65%. The battery depleted really quickly and when it got to 1%, it stayed on for ages and then finally died. I turned it back on again immediately and it showed it still had about 60% left. Again, it drained all the way to 0% so I turned it back on and it then showed 17%. I let deplete again and then the thing was properly dead. I charged it up and tried using a couple of battery calibration apps but it keeps happening. As an experiment, I left it playing a video from 100% and the thing died 2:38 hrs later. This isn't right. I've also had my micro sd card wipe and had issues with that since the drain.
Any similar experiences or possible fixes?
Thanks guys

I had this problem before and the solution is......FORGET ABOUT IT!
just use ur note normally....the cycle of charging and draining gonna fix it but dont let the battery drop that low again....15% is ur minimum limit
Use this code to give u the correct reading of the battery too *#0228#
Anyway of getting that menu up without dialling it in? I have the P600 so can't make calls due to no dialer app

Hey guys.
Im having this issue very first time. Im using Slim rom atm.
My battery is very weird. It would shut my phone off at 15% with out any notice. Sometimes i log in to recovery(TWRP) mode and it will tell me I have 50% but when I logged in to rom will say 20%.
I tried to flash my phone to different rom but have same issue.
Im not sure where to start to investigate this.
Can someone guide me in proper direction?
Could be a battery issue. My old battery would display 20% remaining, but would always turn off before reaching 15%.
