there are 3 items....Should I flashed all 3 items ?
First
One_X_4.18.401.2_odexed.zip
then
Flash_boot_4.18.401.2.rar
finally
Flash_recovery_4.18.401.2.rar
What is flashing order ? First rom and then boot and recovery ? I already flashed Clockwork mod recovery...
So what can I do ?

take the boot.img from Flash_boot_4.18.401.2.rar paste in your fastboot folder and flash it after this go in rcovery and install the zip One_X_4.18.401.2_odexed.zip. Then restart the phone and see if your IMEI or basband are there if no then bad if yes you can leave like this or you can flash stock recovery the same way like boot.img but recovery and last you will see update to 4.18.401.4 you can apply the update. But don't forget to make your own nandroid backup if you restore your IMEI and Baseband

[Q] efs and IMEI messed up, HOX endeavoru

Hello! I've tried various places but can't find a soloution so:
I successfully rooted and flashed my HTC Once X International with AOKP ICJ 4.2.2 a while ago. Few months later, I decided to try the ViperX rom but ran into some problems. After wiping, flashing the boot.img with the Venom Flasher and successfully installing the new rom, I had no service and was "stuck" in Airplane mode. I found out that my IMEI is blank and that my efs folder is also gone. I have a stock root nandroid backup but it does me no good with the missing efs folder and IMEI. I am using TWRP v2.4.0.0. since that's the only version that gave me touch control. I have no backup of the efs folder as I was not even aware of it's existence until today.
I am really sorry if this question has been answered before but I could not find a solution no matter how hard I searched. What do?
Here is some information.

So that means, since I didnt't copy my efs folder I'm screwed and stuck with a non-connecting HOX?
Probably yes. Flash back the stock rom, and flash the boot.img. if it still doesn't connect there is pretty much nothing you can do

First, make sure your phone has same cid, otherwise flashing incorrect rom will cause more problem.
The steps are as follow:
- Identify your cid and find the correct stock rom (latest update)
- Unlock bootloader
- Flash custom recovery (twrp, cwm, philz)
- Boot to recovery > Mount sd card and copy rom (zip file) to sd card
- Flash stock rom and boot.img (follow rom instruction carefully)
- Reboot and it should work.
If you dont know any of the above steps, please search the forum for details. You can also raise question here, I and others will try to help at soonest.

[Q] How to reset M8 to 100% pure stock? [WiFi Doesn't work]

Hello, I'm gonna try to keep this as short as possible.
Basically, bought an M8, rooted it, messed with it, all worked great. Went a step further without having a clue at what I was doing (I know, I was stupid as hell and now I'm desperate because of it) and I went ahead and installed a custom ROM. I think this might be a common error, but my Wi-Fi isn't working [tries to enable it but fails every time.] I even drove the phone off to my guy who always fixed this kind of stuff for me, and he told me I'm hopeless. And now my hope lies with this community to help me. I would be speechlessly greatful if someone helped me with this, because having a high end phone and no Wi-Fi on it is a nightmare.
My goal here: To reset the M8 to it's original factory settings, original software version, original bootload, original S-on/S-off settings. Basically just get everything as stock as it can possibly get. The important thing is to get my Wi-Fi running again.
I would really appreciate if someone who has Skype and knows his way around this could talk to me privately, but if not, I'm going to leave as much info about my device as I can [relevant or irrelevant (taken from the About Device Menu)] below;

The first custom ROM I installed was MaximusHD, then I realised the Wi-Fi wasn't working. So I thought it was the ROM that was messing up, so I moved to Android Revolution 22.2. Then I realised it wasn't the ROMs that were screwing with my wifi. So basically I took the phone to my guy, who removed the ROM (I think, not completely sure though, tried to check in settings but seems like it's stock) and put it on stock. I currently have Team Win Recovery Project v2.8.0.3.
Your situation is by no means hopeless. Just in a condition that requires device specific knowledge, that your friends is missing.
The hboot and radio number indicates your firmware is mismatched with the ROMs you are trying to run. Broken WiFi is a known and common symptom of this.
You can return to the stock ROM by following the instructions in the following link to restore to stock 2.22.401 ROM, and corresponding stock recovery. Your WiFi should work after restoring the stock ROM. You can then install offiicial OTA to update your firmware, which will then allow you to run the ROMs you mentioned (after you re-install custom recovery after the OTA):

The problem is simple ,your firmware is 3.18 while you need 3.19 in order to use latest rom ,so download this backup from HERE and restore it using twrp .Do Swipe to facetory reset in twrp before restoring .
After restoring backup fiRST flash stock recovery from HERE using FASTBOOT then update throught official OTA .
After reboot search for update in setting and update to latest FIRMWARE through official OTA.Then you can flash any custom rom

Thank you so much for this! I'll try it now. But could you please do simpler step by step instructions because I want to make sure I do it right.
So the steps go like this (where I put "???" please add more steps or just clear things up a bit):
1. Factory reset in TWRP
2. Restore to 3.19 in TWRP
??? 3. Flash stock recovery (Can you do step by step commands on how to flash with fastboot? Is it just a simple command and I select .img from desktop?)
??? 4. Update through official OTA (I update through OTA when I have already Restored backup and flashed recovery inside the settings app?)
Thank you so much!
EDIT: Also, after everything is done and works fine, is this ROM going to be compatible and work without problems?

First of all create backup of you current rom in TWRP recovery which will give you the correct path where you need to put the above backup file which i posted .
The above backup file is in .zip format so need to unzip it and place it in the TWRP/BACKUPS/your device serial number .
1-> Then before restoring backup ,goto wipe option in TWRP and do swipe to factory reset then goto restore option and restore the backup which you paste in "TWRP/BACKUPS/your device serial number" directory.
2-> Then goto bootloader and flash stock recovery using "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img " .
3-> And after restoring and falshing stovk recovery just go to settings/about/software updates and perform OTA.

Uhhh I successfully restored the backup, but how do I flash?
I'm in my Fastboot mode on my M8, and I opened command prompt, wrote "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img " and it says "error: cannot open "recovery.img"
Where do I need to put the recovery?

[Q] Get back to stock M8 VODAP110 - Having massive problems

Good morning guys.
I am wondering if anyone is able to help me before i go completely nuts trying to work this out. (I also hope its ok to make a new thread)
A few weeks ago i rooted my M8 following the steps on this website (htconeroot. - how-to-root-htc-one-m8/) with no issues at all. Unlocked the boot loader and also there is the software tag saying modified (my understanding is this is normal). Installed the custom recovery with no drama.
A couple of days ago i got the OTA notification that i can now download 5.0.1 (Happy days) however this is where i seem to be running into problems. I know that i need to revert to the stock recovery from TWRP and then from here need to relock the boot loader to install the OTA update. I think my main problem is that i don't know what version of the stock rom i need to install. I have tried a few but none of them will boot into recovery from the boot loader.
So this is where i am.
Boot loader works fine and will run fast boot and boot to custom recovery - does state that the OS - (Blank)

I have a swisscom locked phone (VODAP110) the software version is (3.29.166.9 from phone) however the main-version is blank, another website said i need a stock recovery (x.xx.166.x - Vodafone CH-DE (Switzerland - Germany))
The last stock recovery that i put on the phone was (3.29.161.5 recovery.img) this then would allow me to start the phone and run the OTA update. From here the phone will restart and start the update but after about 20/25% the phone will crash displaying a picture of the phone with a red triangle and upside down exclamation mark. I read somewhere that if this problem happens to erase the cache and it should fix the problem but it didn't.
Could anyone please point me in the correct direction or help me solve the problem i am having.
Do i need to ?????
1) install the correct stock recovery (if so could someone please help me find the correct version)
2) Flash the stock rom from HTCDev (no clue how to do this with fast boot and if it will restore the recovery)
3) Give up on OTA and look for a custom 5.0.1 flash and use TWRP to flash from recovery.
Thanks so much for any help.

Maybe this one works? This is the 3.29.161.9 recovery. It's from my VODAPE17 cid
1: download the ota, take out the firmware.zip and in that zip is a recovery.img. that is your correct stock recovery that you need.
2: go to the general section - collection of backups and firmwares. Have a read there and look for your cid in the list with backups.
Please do not relock the bootloader that is not needed for an ota !
And delete your serial !
I was forgotten to paste the url: https://mega.co.nz/#!nZkCWZAL!djqZnzAlVfHslzWJxUxvW5cLKHdI9BIhr_uxzjFxbng
I also have this Problem with my M8 (3.29.166.9). I also flashed the new recovery from the OTA, but when i flashed the OTA, the recovery wrote Status 7 error ...
New download of the OTA doesn't worked..
Any Idea ?
Sorted

Back to stock problem
Hello,i have a similar problem. I did everthing as you, rooted, custom recovery and unlock bootloader on htcdev, all to try out custom roms like arhd and so on. But i didn't do a nandroid backup, because i'm a fool and didn't know what i was doing. When i wanted to go back to stock i tried flashing 3.29.161.9 as it's similar to our stock rom but had no luck, still no updates. When i go to fastboot my os says os-3.29.166.9,so clearly there lies i problem. i need i stock 3.29.166.9 nandroid backup so i can go to stock. i've downloaded the recovery you uploaded and put it in 3.29.161.9 rom but no luck. So can you please upload a 3.29.166.9 nandrod backup. Thanks in advance. And mister Petert87 and Mr Hofs if you have any idea how to solve my problem please tell can you tell me. Cheers guys

Are you running a rooted stock ROM when your phone now not working ? If yes, can you install TWRP recovery and make backup of the system part only. Then upload it for me, I'll try to fix it. I've done this many times with other rare ROM like WIND, Taiwan version, Optus, Telstra and many more.
If possible, just PM me the link.. this is the only way that I can help you and @dexterts

No. I don't have because I can't find any version nandroid for x.xx.166.x anywhere out of XDA
That's why I'm asking these guys to help them
And if that @raynordg guy respond to notification ... he can help too. He was scared about his data on nandroid backup ... system partition has no user data.

Yes ... change CID and flash EU WWE RUU if you want it on .401
If only firmware, you can restore a EU WWE backup and do OTA .. but for now only lollipop the latest and there's already lollipop RUU, you can check EddyOS thread for RUU method : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735235

Try fastboot erase cache after install TWRP ...
Can you post your fastboot getvar all without serial & imei no. ?
Usually this error is related to partition problem .. maybe flashing the firmware, then TWRP follow by fastboot erase cache command can fix this.

First - a stupid question (because it happened before) - you do flash a correct version TWRP meant for HTC M8, right ? The one that you downloaded from https://dl.twrp.me/m8/
If the answer is yes for the above, try flashing firmware.
Get the firmware fw_6.16.708.1.zip and read how-to in my thread here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60218734&postcount=5
Then unlock the bootloader with the unlock_code.bin .. when successfully unlocked, the system will reboot but it will fail .. press both power + volume up button .. when the screen goes black, release both buttons but press and hold volume down button. This will get you to hboot, press power once to get to bootloader/fastboot ... flash TWRP then try to restore backup.

So .. that's your actual problem. If it is not hardware problem, you can fix this by flashing firmware as I mentioned above. A few people succeed to fix the same problem by flashing firmware.

Perfect, Im going to do all your instructions and then reply, thank you for all
Im sorry, where is the unlock_code.bin? and how can I flash/install that?
Edit: Actually I know that xD sorry.
Man, you are amazing, thanks for your support , I did all your instructions and it works, my cellphone now has signal and all its correct, only one thing, the backup 6.16.708.1_ckpv5 maybe its wrong, I couldn't flash it, but it doesn't matter, I installed nandroid 4.xxx, thank you one more time , greetings!
Maybe the 6.x download is bad..
You can install stock recovery then check OTA to update from current 4.x
