Using Shazam, the result said it was Megabrain Focos 9-11 (Mente-Music Lado B) By: Miguel Noya, but I have no idea if that's right or not.

Sounds like something that was made for the commercial tbh.
Do you just want it for a ring tone or something?
G3

Play it on another device and use your g3 Google now and ask her what the song is, work fairly well

That's half of the reason. The other half is just out of curiosity =p. I also wouldn't mind bumping this in the car or during my workout session.

Have you heard of this new app called shazam?

turn G2 in to gamepad / keyboard via usb?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was away to turn your G2 phone in to a Keyboard/Game pad through USB i saw one app on the market but it was through wifi and with your touch screen is there a possible way to do this?
There was a Plugin for psp with its CFW to do this but i would love to do this with my phone with its keyboard.
Why? That just doesn't sound all too fun

If you don't really care why the hell did you post? taking up useless space on a forum?
of course i checked google that's why i posted...
If you have no information on a question why they hell post?....
Now your changing my topic once again, so you might as well make your own tread "reasons people want apps and why you don't care"

Anyway if someone knows where i can find an app like this please let me know

[Q] Remove annoying HTC One X volume tone?

Hey peeps,
New to XDA, finding it an amazing community of modders...
Anyways, am I the only one who hates the tone that's made from pressing the volume key on the side? We have quad core phones yet the sound it makes is like "my first phone" toy.
Maybe it's just me who doesn't like them but either way, can i remove/disable/replace this sound?
Thanks
You can play a tune though! It is rather annoying

Lol, true true you can.. I still just don't like the kiddish sound..
I've been in one or two quiet places (notably at a company presentation) and ah, just hate the tone that goes off!
So any ideas? Maybe a location for the audio files?
Would deleting them effectively make it silent?
I guess only I have this issue then ...

Not at all, gives me the pains as well.
Guess you can probably delete these sounds when you are rooted, which is unfortunately out of the question for me.
Doesn't bother me other than when I'm in work, and everybody looks at me thinking I'm playing a little xylophone!

So the solution was a lot simpler than I thought ..
1) root the phone
2) go to /system/media/audio/ui/
3) backup (just in case) then delete "Volume-1.aac" - "Volume-7.aac"
Simples.

Is it flash needed?
Could be library related problems, meaning that you also need the lib files.
Edit: Just finished downloading. I see the problem. You need to integrate the odex file back into the apk first. Google it. There's a guide somewhere.

All can be do it, but Miui apps need some part of miui framework to work, you have to decompile the app and add this part of miui framework in the app and then compile it.

Perhaps, but noone will waste the time required, since it's quite meaningless.
Last time I tried MIUI music player it drains battery like crazy(galaxy s2 MIUI ROM)

Sigh...
Do it yourself then, noone else will, since it's meaningless. Also, me posting requires quite a lot less effort than porting that app, and all which that encompasses, so your point is simply stupid.

Let's just stop being pedantic.
Yes it is possible to do however it would take a stupid amount of time to merge the framework dependencies into the app.
A task that not many people would be bothered to do.
As previously linked. If the guy who previously ported the v4 music player won't do it because it's so deeply integrated. I can't imagine anyone will want to put the amount of effort in for a music player

[Q] Always on Google Now mic?

I know someone on XDA made an app that allowed this, but I can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone know the name of the app? Thanks.

I know that the new Moto-X phone will be "always listening" and Google Now can be activated anytime by voice. However, there is yet to be solid confirmation this will be rolled out to other devices. One reason most devices do not use this is probably the strain it puts on the battery, always having to process audio.
A lot of threads seem to discuss this - how to achieve this task. However, it appears the general consensus is that the battery would drain to quickly.
I'm sorry this didn't really answer your question, maybe in the coming weeks, once people get their hands on the Moto-X, the hardware to implement the hands free Google Now will be studied in an attempt to replicate.
EDIT: I found something! I found an app in the play store called Open Mic+. It is really new and seems to accomplish the task you are talking about. The performance seems to be iffy for now, as its still in beta, and reviewers say it drains battery, but it could be really cool.
There's an app on Google play store called Google Mic +, it's the only one I could find. Works pretty well actually.

kitkat ROM development

what improvements do people want to see in the software on the G Pad? as in what features do we think are necessary on a custom g pad ROM?
contrary to a lot of the reviews, i feel that the stock LG software, optimus ui or whatever, is not THAT bad. overall minimal and the animations don't really seem to get in the way of performance and functionality mostly. thoughts on this?

I completely agree on the stock ROM, but you can make it stutter a bit. A little ROM+Kernel optimization should do the trick. Maybe add OC and voltage control.
