Try restoring with stock rom.
1. download the latest firmware (http://lg-firmware-rom.com/)
2. Follow the below thread for the steps to install it.

Had the same problem too, but every method I tried didn't work. So I used the warranty for LG and they're repairing/replacing the phone. You need to email or talk to a LG representative.
The only thing you have to pay is shipping and the rest are free.

I have the same issue (hard bricked g3) but this definitely isn't under warranty, I got it from a friend cause I figured it'd be soft bricked, but nope it's completely unresponsive, besides QHSUSB__BULK

Ummm, tried formatting what? There is factory reset, restore, but formatting?

Did you try KDZ flash or TOT flash?
If one fails, try the other.
KDZ wouldn't work for me, but the TOT flash method worked like a charm to flash my D852.
If you can see ANYTHING at all on your screen, recovery menu, download mode screen, anything at all, then it's very likely your device can be fixed.
But if you can't see anything whatsoever on your screen, like no recovery screen, no download mode screen ect then it's hard bricked and must be repaired by the hardware vendor.
EDIT: Here are a few other common reasons for failed flashing:
1. Make sure you're using the LGUnitedMobileDriver
2. Try a different usb port (front and rear usb ports can act dramatically different from eachother).
3. Try a different usb cable.
4. Try a different computer to flash.

I just got my phone repaired from LG and I recieved it two weeks after I sent it the phone to LG. They repaired my phone but they deleted everything

LG G3 Blue Screen

Earlier today I was using my phone I forget what exactly I was doing I think I was using the web browser or opening an app. The phone randomly restarted and after the LG Logo screen appeared I got a blue screen for about 10 to 15 seconds and the screen went off. I pulled the battery to see if that would help but that didn't work. Tried safe mode and even factory reset both times got the blue screen (can get the little menu tho) I then plugged the phone into the computer and initially I could get it into download mode. But after installing the LG drivers, and installing LG Flash Tool I went to flash it back to stock. (My phone has pretty much been stock and unrooted except for the lollipop update. ) When I went to flash the phone screen went blue and the flash tool was unsuccesful at implementing the flash. I also tried the LG Mobile Support Tool. Now intermittently I can get the phone into download mode and get the computer to recognize the phone and LG Flash Tool to the ready stage to flash but after that no luck. Any suggestions? I have not tried fastboot or kdz conversions as I dont think those apply to my problem but I could be wrong

I work on phones for a living. Unfortunately, i think the motherboard is bad. Nothing you can do.

I know this sounds ridiculous but I just did it this weekend and IT WORKS. I pre-heated my oven to 350, removed the motherboard (without sim and/or SD card) and placed it in the middle of my oven on a piece of white paper for EXACTLY 10 minutes. Afterwards, I let it cool and re-assembled. My phone is now working perfectly and I didn't lose any data that was on my phone. I was able to back up my data and am still using it, although I am prepared for it to fail again at any point. I know this sounds absurd but it works. I would post the link but I can't until I've placed 10 posts. I thought this was important enough to share with others and that is why I created an account here. If the moderators look at this please add the link. you can just search Google for "lg g3 blue screen fix oven" and it is the first result right now on forums.androidcentral.com. I'm gonna go ahead and use my phone until it dies again, but for the last 48 hours it has been working flawlessly.

Bricked my GF's bootlooping G4 after trying to freeze it - please help

Well, my GF's G4 started bootlooping a few days ago, the local store she bought it from doesn't honor the warrenty and says it may be something we did. I didn't like hearing that and decided to take legal action.
In the meanwhile, she asked if the data can be restored, I started playing with it and reading online. The phone bootlooped anytime I took the battery out and reinserted it, then go off. I decided to put it in the freezer after reading about many successful attempts to boot the device. The first time I put it in a plastic bag for 5-10 minutes (when I took it out it had humidity on it which I wiped), it turned on! and went into Android app optimization and we were thrilled, It went off after 2 minutes so I decided to put it in again for 30-40 minutes in a sealed plastic bag (as many recommended), when I took it out it didn't turn on at all no matter how many tries I tried switching batteries, connecting to the charger etc. (it had humidity on it again when taken out of the freezer).
From then on, the phone won't turn on at all, I put it in a bag of rice in get rid of humidity/water but that didn't help and the device won't bootloop at all.
Now, I have no case as it doesn't bootloop and the store can claim there's damage not governed by warrenty, I can't claim it bootloops as it is a brick.
I'm worried the water caused corrosion which totally cancels her warrenty.
Hope someone can help me fix this out, cant believe I hope it will bootloop again.
Thanks.
What version of G4 have you ? H815 ? or other ?
you can try to flash official firmware with LG UP with .kdz file or if you have another G4 with .tot file
You must have computer with drivers installed and LG UP installed
Watch tutorial
It's H815, SN: 505***
How can I flash it if its not booting at all? Can you elaborate on how flashing the official kdz will help? The phone is not rooted.
Is there a way to restore the bootloop? I want to claim my warrenty but without the bootloop scenario Im screwd.

1. volume up and connect to pc
2. flash the "core disable" kdz/tot (whatever it is)
3. it should boot but it won´t be as fast as i has been

To be honest with you pal i very much doubt you'll get it back working as the serial is a 505 which means it's included in the bad batch of faulty motherboards on the phone and its that which is causing the bootlooping , you need to tell the place where you got it that the hardware has failed out of your control if they don't help try contacting LG directly you could be lucky....

When I did the following steps, I was able to get back into the phone with all my apps and internal data right where it was. It only fixed the corrupt system files. It seemed to work like startup recovery on Windows. But as a warning, I've only done this once so cannot guarantee you the same.
i) Make sure you have the LG Drivers installed from here: http://oceanhost.eu/e4h2px4e0hkd/LGM..._4.0.4.exe.htm
ii) Download the LG Bridge software from here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/product...reinstall-apps
iii) Remove the battery and reinsert it so the device it is fully off.
iv) While holding the up volume button, insert your USB cable.
v) You should enter download mode. Go to the Software Update tab of the LG Bridge. It will say connecting and then should say your device is up to date. Click on the recovery text on the bottom right and then follow the instructions. The software will download the system image for you and this is roughly 1.6GB so make sure your firewall doesn't block this connection.
I was lucky and this didn't remove any of my data.
If you have problems with LG Bridge detecting your device:
i) Make sure you have the drivers installed and are using a reliable cable and USB port.
ii) Open up device manager and look for your phone. It should be named [...... COM#].
iii) Right click and go to the ports tab and click advanced. Select COM41. This seemed to work for me.

[H815] Stuck on lg screen, no bootloop, access to download and recovery ok [SOLVED]

Hi,
I've searched over xda and google before but haven't found anything relevant so I've decided to post my own problem.
My G4 freezed unexpectedly while listening to music, I had to remove the battery to put it off.
But it never passed the LG logo again.
So, i've been stucked on this LG logo, looking for an answer and found about this hardware issue but I'm not certain to get the same error.
It's not a bootloop (even if I sometimes got stuck in bootloop while trying everything to revive my phone), I have been able to get to the download mode and TWRP (which I don't have anymore because I went back to stock using LGUP and LG bridge), even though I hardly get to the download mode now (I sometimes manage to do it though). I've also managed to save my data when I've managed to enter TWRP (plug in, remove battery, push volume down + power while putting battery in) which, people with hardware issue haven't, as far as I know.
I've tried everything I could and wouldn't even be able to describe it all.
Do you guys know how I could be sure if it's hardware or software related ?
Last try: update via Lg Bridge, succeed but still stuck on LG screen.
Thanks a lot !
Flash a lollipop kdz via LGUP, then try the ILAPO (works only with lollipop, no marshmellow) metod, there is a thread on xda.
There is a video on youtube too

Thanks, I'm going to try this and let you know !
I gave a look on what you've suggested, but is that going to let me use the phone or only backup ?
From what I understood (and I might be wrong), this only allows to backup because the phone would be worthless...

You'll be abble to use the phone, but it would be slower duo to the fact that with ILAPO you disable the "2 more powerfull" cpu cores... this metod let only 1 core active from the other 4, if you want to use the other two you have to gain root permissions and install an .apk to reactive the other 3. It's a litle triky but better than nothing I guess
PS: if you dont want to deal with all this bulls**it send it to LG
Same problem
This morning my Lg G4 also got stuck in boot Lg screen. Did you manage to fix your issue or got the data backup ?
sometimes flashing stock LP firmware fix it.. sometimes you must send it back to LG for repair..

I managed to backup, it's a weird trick and you need to have TWRP installed I guess:
- Remove the battery
- Plug your phone (I used my laptop but I'm guessing it also work directly from the charger)
- Push volume down + power
- Insert battery holding those buttons
I managed to enter TWRP and backup with this.
It didn't work at first, I had to try it several times.
I also read you have to keep holding volume down + power until the phone reboot itself once, and then you get access to TWRP but I tried so many times differently I don't remember which one worked best. Anyway, it worked for me that way.
I didn't fix the issue and I sent it to LG... I'm so frustrated, it's been 10 years I'm into this stuff and I always managed to fix everything
Hi guys,
So my G4 just came back from LG, they replaced the motherboard and that's it... A bit disappointed to not having been able to fix it myself but at least, it worked.
I didn't have to pay anything since it was a hardware defect, LG took care of it.
Thanks for those who tried to help, I hope this post would be useful for some with the same issue.

I'm having this same issue out of the blue. Is your serial number one of the infamous "before 509" ones? I'm on TMo with the H811, so it may not be similar at all....but I'm at my wits end. I've never had a spontaneous boot loop happen to me before now. It was always something I'd done.

Indeed, my serial number was 505 something.
I've been there too, if it's spontaneous, it must be this hardware defect...

Interesting... Especially since mine was a 509 or something. I guess they missed some units. Oh well, I just JUMP'ed early with my TMo plan to the G5. That was my second G4 after a similar issue 13 days into owning the first one back in November. Having your phone spontaneously die is quite a fun way to spend your anniversary -____-. I wasn't about to give that model a 3rd try. Thanks for replying.

LGG3 D850 stuck on firmware update screen

So my mom had an LG G3 D850 from at&t. was totally fine, then she updated whatever she had to 6.0 and it started bootlooping. Tried the LG Flash tool with a tot stock firmware. Went through the whole process got the blue screen with the red 3, it restarted, kept bootlooping. Tried it again but then it got stuck on 5% for like 4 hours, unplugged it and now no matter what i do i cant get into download mode. It shows the LG screen then goes straight to firmware update (even if i dont hold vol up) and it says 910K Bxx QEM (the xx changes) I was able to get into recovery mode, recovered it. same thing. Im losing my mind a little bit here so any advice, or pointing me to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated. Ive looked all over the internet and cant find anything helpful apparently the qualcomm thing where you short the motherboard doesnt work for this phone either?
*flips desk*
If it is under warranty .send your phone to at&t to get it fixed.

Qualcmomm method you are describing is just to bring your phone into download mode. I have done this to my brother's g3. You have to flash using LG flashtool using different settings and then hard reset your phone. If it doesn't solve your problem.try to replace battery and then use custom rom.
tried that

no matter what settings i set LG flash tool to it doesnt recognize the phone. and no matter what i do the phone jumps to the firmware update screen, it skips the download mode screen. I have two batteries and ive repeatedly switched them back and forth :/ even after reseting the phone with factory reset it goes back go the firmware update screen

apparently cant do custom roms either, I got it to boot the the set up screen for 5seconds befores it crashed so i guess im throwing it away cause im sick of looking at it.

AM i Bricked or not?

Hello all!
My wifes sister let some idiot at work mess with her LGG4 , Anyway he tried to flash a factory kdz to the phone, i believe he pulled the plug before it was done. Accidentally he said, i think he tripped over the cord, moron. So, she brought it to me, ive been able to salvage most electronics she brings to me, but this one has a secure Boot error 1014, cant find any info on it. i can get to recovery but the options there do nothing but bootloop, download mode gets as far as the first download mode screen then bootloops. any insight in to what is going on would be greatly appreicated. thank you and sorry if im missing any info.
Edit: So the guy tried to flash 10b over MM to "start fresh" and accidentally pulled the cord out before it was done, anyway to recover this phone?
nothing?
Trying to go from anything back to 10b is a no no. As far as I know you're probably bricked. If you have insurance, use it.
I remember downgrading off certain higher rom numbers to lower ones will always result in a hard brick and there were some limited exceptions. So be careful
Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
I too have a g4 still under warranty, can I send her g4 and get a replacement? If I call them and tell them it's bootlooping?
Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
I'm expecting same problem for over a two months, it happened without any previously signs: I typed SMS as usually and got black screen, after two seconds phone restarted itself and I got same error as you (1014).
There is no fix yet, unfortunately, but you are lucky, you are under warranty. Also I had previously this problem described on link here
