What carrier do you have? Mine works fine on Att.
Also have you tried going into the hidden menu 3845#*460# there's network settings in there.

In my standard network menu I have different options.

Try to go into the service menu ( I gave you the coding for the hidden menu) the service menu is 5457#*460# you should be able to set a preference for bands in there.

no LTE option in network selection

Hello Team.
I am running LG G3 with 10E.
in network selection i don't have the LTE option
The hack of tech code and enabling it works ok, but that is not a good way.
Is there any idea how to fix it?
thanks,
Chen G.

Thanks. that works *but* it does not survive restart nor adds this option to the list (it seems like a hack).
I wonder how others see this option permanently ??

Do you not have the LTE option at all, or does it just not stay selected?
If the latter then you can delete LTEConfig.apk from /system/app to fix.

That's really strange.
Do you tried to reset the phone?
Have you updated to the last firmware (V10e)
because i am running V10a (older firmware) and i don't have any issues.

As mentioned before, onced rooted, delete the lte settings apk. That fixed it for me. Stays after reboot and works fully
4g = lte in many country's. Check speedtest app for internet speed

After making changes, turn off the phone and wait for 15 seconds, and turn it back on.
Mine sticks (UMTS+LTE).

Just pointing out that I have the identical issue when selecting network settings. To enable 4G (LTE) I had to enable it in the hidden settings menu and then it connected as it should. By default I dont have that pop up in my list - I am thinking possibly it is due to my carrier. They are only just enabling 4G in certain areas of my country (2 Degrees, New Zealand) so may by default don't enable that option? I thought my phone had a no LTE function even though LG G3 is promoted as having it...so I can connect to the LTE/4G but only by using the hidden menu code 3854#*855#

Hi -Hopefully people are still reading this forum. I am rooted but the ltesetting apk will not delete. ES File Explorer says "cannot be deleted", Root Explorer crashes when I try to delete that apk.
Which method did you use to delete it?
Thanks.
I deleted it with TB

Am running v10h though.
Update: I deleted LTEConfigs and it still resets upon reboot.

[Q] G3 F460 Data Connectivity trouble

I am using a LG G3 F460s. The usage experience is almost perfect for me. But there is this one issue that troubles me daily.
The data connectivity (3G) is perfect when i use the native stock browser & whatsapp but apart from that all apps including chrome very rarely connect using mobile data service.
Everything works perfectly with WiFi again.
What can i do to have a smooth experience on my phone ?
Also on a side note, what is the hidden menu code in G3 F460s ? What all can I & should I change from the menu ?
Check the F460 thread for the network issues. What carrier do you have? The hidden menu code is 3845*#460#

What carrier is this problem occurring?
Have you tried deleting and reimporting APN settings
Have you checked whether the frequency that your carriers 4G Network runs on is supported by the G3?

Force LTE

Hello. Can someone with ob21 on op3 please confirm if he/she/it can switch the network from GSM to LTE only, or any other combination? Cheers
I can't. And I'm trying to find out why.

Can't be because of the sim because I usually do this when I use the phone as a hot-spot to keep the phone in 4g. But I haven't used this option in a while, about the same time I upgraded to ob21... I just wanted to make sure it's not because of it. Thank you

Sounds good, doesn't work
Seriously now, tried but no luck
What I know, there must exist support on Phone (ok), SIM (ok), LTE (ok) and telecom provider (nok). Phone must be on "white list". I have the same problem.
I had success eith this om SIM1 only when I first got my OP3T, but now it doesnt work any more It still switches to 3g for calls whereas before it did not, but dropped the calls.
I need LTE only often where 3g and 4g are both bad and the phone keeps rolling over between the two. I just need net at that time.
Anyone succeeded in ysimg some app for this?

Uhm network service disabled, occurs randomly like one minute the network is fine the next it has a little X showing up without network bars then it searches for the network then network bars appear but in reality the network registers me as offline so I have to restart the phone in order for my data connection and other cellular services to work i.e text, calls, ussd

I have no idea if you are in LG ROM or what, so Download "network mode" in play store
