hi , I tried to go back to stock cause the rom I installed isn't working at all except booting then stuck on lockscreen
so I used the Lgflashtool but stupidly I used f400L.dll instead of f400S.dll which is the correct one
now when I try to do it again it will give me dll conflict message on LG flashtool
what shall I do !!
I also forgot to mention that I created a backup using custom recovery but right now I can't get to recovery screen

Hey guys, i need a little of help because i've never seen what happened to me, i will explain the entire process:
I have an E977 from Movistar Venezuela, it came with 4.2.1, after check everything was working at perfection (wifi, bluetooth, heat, etc.) i decided to root and unlock bootloaders to get into cyanogenmod 10.1 (i had a 4x HD and its very smooth with cm) so i used freegee to unlock bootloaders, installed TWRP and flashed the rom, everything perfect for a month or so, i saw the update of Paranoid Android to 4.3 and wanted to give it a shot so i downloaded it and the gapps, went into recovery, did my backup, wiped and flashed, everything working perfect but i didn't like it so i went into recovery again, did my wipes and perfomed the restore of my backup.
Now, i have a bootloop, the phone normaly showed the LG logo for about a second, turn the screen off, then on again and the OS started to load, but now i just see the logo, the screen turns of but it's not coming back -_-U i've tried to restore again and again and nothing, did wipes and tried to Paranoid Android again with no results, also tried with cm10.1, no results.
I can access the recovery and download modes, followed the guides provided here but i can't KDZ because the original firmware it's more than 1gb and the LG tool can't handle these files.
I read there's a mode to push files via adb when in TWRP, is there a way to "transform" the kdz into some file the TWRP can handle ? do i still have hope ?? I really need help, if you can help me, i will appreciate.
P.D. Also, i would like to know of there's a way to lock the bootloaders again so i can get the phone to warranty! In the worst case...
Did you try the LG Support Tool? It downloads and install the proper KDZ when entering into Emergency Mode.
A way is to restore a backup from another e977.
Another way would be if someone with an e977 would dump his rom to make a flashable zip.
Can't you try lg mobile tool?just put the phone in download mode and see if the tool detects it...

Okay, my phone is LG E988, and i followed the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460859
I got until the TWRP part, managed to flash TWRP, and that is when the nightmares came out.
I used ROM Manager from the app store to get into recovery mode (With TWRP as recovery).
First try, i got into TWRP recovery page, but the touchscreen failed so i pulled out my battery and restarted the phone.
Got back to android screen, then wanted to go back recovery mode via ROM manager again.
This time, when i reboot into recovery, i got into CWM instead of TWRP. So i select "Reboot to system" to restart the phone.
Now is where all the **** starts. I'm stuck at the LG logo page with the message "boot certification verify".
Restart many times by pulling battery out but no avail. Then i went to factory reset the phone. After confirming factory reset, screen blacked out for a few sec then i went back to CWM. I cant find any backup either.
Tried all fixes from the forum but all not working. Cant extract .dz & .dll from .kdz because it cant (becomes corrupted).
Anyone can provide me with E988 Singapore .dll and .dz !!! NOW MY GOAL JUST TO MAKE IT BACK TO STOCK!!!
HELP ME FIX THIS PLEASE. MY DAD IS GONNA KILL ME !!
Note: Some might blame me for my own fault to tweak my E988, but someone said that customs for E980 can be used for E988. Please help
Edit: Still need the .dll and .dz please
Please don't refer me to any more threads or forums........
I'm sure this has been done and done and talked about but I've been reading the **** out of forums and comments for a few hours now and trying to unroot my Sprint LG G2.
I had it running stock like a champ. rooted it. worked great. then I was attempting to flash lollipop and it required a recovery update (No Problem) I downloaded the correct files and bam! it says your phone is not rooted this requires a root (or something like that) I was already rooted SuperSU installed and root checker said I was fine. so what the hell I swipe to root while inside recovery and it goes to some black screen with tiny text saying fastboot: processing commands and won't leave the screen. I tried booting into recovery and same thing happens. Tried to reboot normal and I'm stuck on the LG logo with my led flashing between blue and green slowly. I CAN boot into download mode and I'm following this
http://pastebin.com/WTm1xFXz
and this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687929
to unbrick but having this error "Failed PreviousLoad()
Did I not get the right .dll file? I doubt it cause I only saw one...or is it the wrong .tot file? there was 3 or so

Please help!
When i'm in download mode the phone does say I am rooted. is there a way to just re-flash recovery and restore from my backups I did before all this? if I have to wipe this thing clean and start over I don't really mind I just need to get my phone back haha this is the first time this has ever happened to me and I consider myself tech savvy so idk what I did here (except re rooting in recovery like an idiot) thanks so much!
First question, is the download mode you see with a small status bar or the big one?
If you have the big one, download mode should work. The f flash software will verify the tot file. If that goes through you should be golden.
When it asked you in TWRP to root, that is a message telling you system or ROM file did not take.
If you want cm12, use zv8 tot. Root, auto-rec, update TWRP with blastgator bumped TWRP 2.5.1. Flash cm ROM or aosp, then gapps. And go
So this is not my first time bricking my lg g2 ls980, I know I can go and flash the stock firmware but this time I don't want to lose the files on it because I have some important ones, the thing is my phone have the recovery 'secure booting error' and I CAN boot to download mode, I was using the rom 5.1.1 ressurection remix but I decidec to switch to cloudy g3 3.3 and when I tried to install the kk bootloader using a tool (this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/d802-bootloader-changer-1-1-jb-kk-lp-t3104380) I didn't check a thing in the end (I don't remenber at all but I think it was to flash a custom twrp to prevent what happened to me) so now I have really good looking useless phone. (I have a nandroid backup on the phone too to prevent any problem except the one with the twrp )
I just want one of these 2 thing:
1-being able to flash a working twrp recovery via download mode or somehow (I really don't care the how)
or
2-A way to recovery my files before flashing the stock firmware
I know I may sound greedy but I really need those files and I know if I can do one of the 2 methods above, I'll be able to get those files.
Thanks in advance.
ps: if need more specific information, don't hesitate to ask
I own a canvas A1 4GB variant, I had rooted my phone and flashed custom recovery(everything was finee), After a while my phone's battery started giving me problems(lasted only few hours), I considered flashing Stock ROM or any other trusted ROM, I had flashed RR M[07/07] based on android MM, The battery was still giving problem, A week later, My mom's phone broke and she had to use this(A1) temporarily, I formatted everything and thought of flashing stock ROM and handing over the phone to her, I tried flashing the official zip via TWRP, It gave me some error regarding unable to mount system, System partions or something(I don't remember). And after that, I could't flash any ROM, I tweaked some settings in TWRP and now my phone is totally dead, It does not boot up at all, No recovery mode turns on, Nothing except a black dead screen, I tried flashing stock firmware via SP flash tool, It completes and says successful but still nothing happens, Just wanna know if something can happen to this one? I really loved that device and would be great to have it back working.
