Does anyone know how to backup the PowerAMP playlists? I do full wipes a lot, and it annoys me to have to recreate the playlists. Titanium backup doesn't seem to do the job.
Shouldn't restoring app+data do the trick? I used to restore my alarms this way
Does anyone know what location Google Music saves playlists that you create locaally on your phone?
I did a nandroid and a full titanium before i wiped and flashed a new rom, and i noticed my playlist i had on google music is gone, ideas how to pull it back from one of the backups i did?
delete this thread, just ended up restoring google music data and it came through
So I've been updating nightly version of JellyBean which means like 10 or more flashes in the last couple of months.
One the latest flash I realized that my Google Play Music app wasn't reading my Google Play Library from google servers. I could browse my library on the phones browser but not from the app.
Things I've done:
App menu>settings>Refresh
Restore data from Titanium Backup.
Use Darkside Cache Wipe
Restart
Uninstall / Reinstall
Settings>apps>Google Play Music > clear data
Restore older backups from Titanium Backup
Gone on line to play.google.com/music/settings and deleted all the different versions of my phone that were listed as devices (apparently each time I flash a ROM Google thinks it is a new device).
None of these things has fixed the problem. When I reinstall or refresh the app I would expect the device to turn up on my play.google.com/music list of devices but it doesn't. the app seems to have lost all contact with google.
I'd like to try to disconnect my account from the device and add it back but I don't know how to do that. I could add another account to my device and then try to switch between them -but currently I only have one account and I can't "unplug it."
Thanks for any help
Here is what I didn't try: turning Sync on.
When I did that it synced. Go figure. I've never had to go into this setting before but there it was.
Hi guys,
As I'm often changing my rom I always have to update again and again my musicinfo in the walkman app. Which is rather frustrating because my music collection is almost 32 GByte which takes up to 3 days to update it. Titanium is not useful because walkman is a system app and is usually newer with a new rom and walkman as such is not storing the musicinfo.
My questions are:
- what's the name of the app or database which stores the downloaded musicinfo
- is it possible to backup and restore this file
Thanks
Titanium gives the option to restore data only. You could restore the Walkman data without overwriting the app.

Thanks, I know but the walkman app data is not the downloaded musicinfo data.
Did you try to back up media memory (medienspeicher in german)? Maybe the info is stored in that app.
Otherwise I woukd recommend to fill the mp3 tags of all your songs for example with mp3tag on windows. Those informations are stored directly in the file.
The only thing I didn't find is the picture of the artist, that seems to be a tag only sony is using.

If it was on your external MicroSD card, I'd suggest you immediately remove your card from your phone and scan it with a recovery tool such as Pandora Recovery to recover your files. If you overwrite any of the blocks, where the data was stored, then you now have a bigger problem.
