Can anyone care to explain it to me? I wanted to make sure twice before flashing a custom ROM. My current phone (LS980 SPRINT) version is 4.4.2

ZVA was the official software update that enabled Sprint Spark. Currently we are on ZVD official software.
If you are on 4.4.2 then you are on ZVC or ZVD.

ZVD is better than ZVA? Or which's the differences? I've ZVA because I write from Spain, and I believe than only ZVA work's fine here as I readed in topic "permanet Sim unlock", but I don't sure. I've serious problems to Gps, work very bad...
Thanks
Flash a rom like cloudyflex and forget about sprint. I'm in italy and everything ok (except 4g).

Does anyone know if we still can enable AWS in 4.3ROM? Will we be able to use 4.1 modem on 4.3 ROMs? Thanks.
If you haven't updated to the 4.3 ota bootloader I know you can for a fact.

Hey, thanks for the reply. So if I'm on 4.3ROM with the latest modem, only if I'm not on 4.3 bootloader, I can still use the AWS NV file to get the ASW band, correct?
Is there anyone working on a 4.3 bootloader now? Thanks for your input.

Hello friend
I am in Chennai, India.
But i am still in 10a version.
I dont see further update, still shows 10a is the latest firmware.
I have tried via both in OTA and through LG mobile support tool.
Both are telling 10a is the latest.
I don't know what to do!

Took my phone to service centre yesterday to get my charger changed. Since that guy was nice, i saw in his panel if they got beta kk for us and even they got 10a software with them.
That's initial version. Maybe you'll get it. I updated mine a few weeks back via ota (new delhi, reliance gsm)

Lg g2 ls980, build kot49I.LS980ZVC-kernal 3.4.0 - KK4.4.2 Using twrp 7.3.5
I have no problem backing up or installing ls980 zvc roms but when rebooting it only gets to the logo then reboots. I have searched for solution and I'm sure it's here but I have already bricked one G2 and fear being off one step then bricking again. Thx for any advice.

Which twrp? Should be 2.7.0.1 is latest. How did you install twrp. If you were already on zvc you should have used auto-rec.
Sounds like your bootloader may not be downgraded with proper kennel.

Yeah I did use the Auto rec. I was doing back flips actually when I was finally able to do a nand backup. But about this bootloader thing I don't have a clue. Please give me noob instructional advice I suffered With the LG Esteem and all the pipe dreams of Cm9/10 back then. And really need a new rom fix.
Thx Curster (droid drunky)

I have tried many actually. cm11 regular and the latest nightly, Pacman I'm not sure of them all but I am using the latest twrp and it says install successful so I don't know really.
I'm not sure aosp is compatible yet with zvc. Best to at least get up and running is either super g2, or optimus.
Sounds like mostly aosp builds.
Try one of those stock base first

Thx I will try that then report my findings. Has anyone else had this problem? And I suppose I should start a new thread for this question.... But is the LG G2 LS980 from sprint able to be unlocked and transferred to another carrier?
Actually yes. It is through build prop edits. But in doing so if you mess something up you could be stuck.

Hi everyone, I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 (M919) running a custom ROM for the GT-I9505. It's Android version 4.4.2.
I have a 4.2.2 Bootloader still (MDL), I flashed the ND4 Modem, but now I don't have LTE, only HPSA. Is there any way I can get LTE again without having to upgrade my bootloader? If so, how? Thanks in advance!

Can someone explain how LG's OTA policy works?
Some people get OTA on newest updates, while others are still stuck on old firmware.
Is it region or IMEI based?
