If you've Hard bricked your Virgin Mobile/Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2-S5 and you live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, you're more than welcome to come on by and try my jigs. I have 5 different jigs purchased from different sources that are used to Unbricked, hard bricked Virgin Mobile/Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2-S5 cell phones. Totally free.. no charge... just contact me via email at [email protected]
These jigs are used to force the phone into download mode where you can use odin to restore the phone.. Hard bricked means that the phone does absolutely nothing when powered on. No lights or anything at all. The jigs can restore your hard bricked Galaxy S2-S5. I purchased them while to diagnose my own phone issues. My motherboard ended up going bad. Remember, you can always purchase a new motherboard for your Galaxy phone from ebay or other sources for about $50-$75. Just make sure it has a clean ESN if you do..
I offer these because one can't be afraid of failure..
Check out amazon.com and ebay.com for various jigs for galaxy cell phones. it's a good place to start a search for a jig for your model phone..

Hey guys
To make a long story short, I just had a Bell Optimus LTE that's doesn't boot. When I plug it to the charger or the PC all it does is blinking its soft buttons about 15 times. Tried to enter download mode but no dice... Guy who sold to me said he bricked it when he was trying to upagrade it to ICS.
I suspect it to be hard bricked since all what I see on my Device Manger is "QHSUSB_DLOAD"
I did a search on the board and I found 3 or 4 other cases looking for answers...
Question is can I save it or I just bought a paperweight?
I'm willing to paypal some money if it can be recovered
On a side note the guy who sold it to me didn't have to bill even if he had the box and all the included accessories. Will LG canada take it under warranty?
i would try to see if bell will send it in for repair...it's worth a shot, right?
if not maybe a seasoned developer might be able to help you out

Yup, it's hard bricked. I had the same problem with my Nitro. LG USA fixed it for me, so Canada should fix it too.

So my note 2 died a couple of weeks ago... no matter what I do I can't get any sign of life. I tried different button combinations and connecting to the charger, pc, and even switching out the battery. The only conclusion I came up with is that my motherboard is fried.
I bought my phone unlocked overseas, its an international model. I'm looking on ebay and I see a few sellers offering motherboards / logic boards for the note 2. What I don't for sure is which one is right for me since there seems to be a few different sub models, some are for at&t , sprint, etc.
How can I tell exactly which board is right for my phone?
Thanks!
PS if you think there might be another reason for my phone dying or another way to resolve this, please share!
I got a bricked galaxy s3 from a friend. It says SGH-T999 on the back. I think it's refurbished because the battery compartment sticker holds minimal details unlike others. It says T Mobile on the bootloop along with 4G or LTE android... But when I took it apart. It says i747 in two places like the At&T models. And the metal prongs lign up with att. Odin fails every time, for every model I've tried. Recovery DOSENT work it says recovery in blue for one second and boot loops again.
How do I identify this device. And at last fix it?? Thanks!
If you can get into download mode, look for the model # at the top of the screen.
