s beam problem due to root?

so I have paranoid android and kt747 kernel installed but my s beam doesn't work and I'm wondering if its the root? I tried with a stock phone and it said "the file is for large." anything I tried wouldn't work.
and thoughts?

Yea I'm having the same issue on my cm10 rom.... Sbeam is only on the stock rom.

ahh well thats no fun

S-Beam is a touchwiz feature, however I believe that the stock rom has stock Android Beam in there.

[Q] 4.3 camera apk to 4.2.2 rom?

I've searched several variations of this question to no avail. I'd like the new camera update(s) but I don't want to update my phone to 4.3.
Is it possible, if so, is it as simple as just installing the 4.3 apk?

It's not possible unless and until one of the developers here decide to port it over.

[Q] KitKat wifi calling?

Is there any way to have wifi calling in any of the 4.2.2(KK) roms?
Need that feature because in my work T-mobile doesn't work at all, thanks!

4.4.2 and no not onaosp like cyanogen mod or even gpe roms only stock touchwiz roms will get wifi calling 4.4.2just go released for tmobile so there should should be a stock 4.4.2 rom soon with wifi calling

The stock 4.4.2 is out now, you can try reverting to stock 4.3 or 4.2.2 to receive the update or download the TAR file on here from any of the correct forum posts. The stock 4.4.2 does have Wi-Fi calling included (TMO only).

How to update my Nexus 7?

Hey guys I have a N7 that a friend gave me. It's currently on CM based on 4.3. What's the easiest to way to bring it to 5.0 stock (preferably rooted)? Thanks!

The only roms for the N5100 I see on sammobile are 4.4.2 Kit Kat. If you want 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, stay close to stock Samsung, and are willing to root, I have this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2407752.
I've been using it for a year with no problems. Very smooth experience. I did have to adjust the APN settings so it would receive 3g data on AT&T, but I had to do that even before I rooted 4.1.2. It's been a great phone/tablet.
