How To Root XOLO Q1010i

XOLO Q1010i is the latest device from XOLO and we will be rooting this device only today.
Let's begin now.

Requirements:
Framaroot 1.9.1 APK
XOLO Q1010i
60% battery charged of the device.

How To Root XOLO Q1010i:
Download and install Framaroot
Open the application
Select "SuperSU" (Superuser isn't good)
Click on Barahir
You will now see a popup. Reboot your device now and you are rooted!!
If you faced any bugs while rooting, then please reply here!

I tried rooting my device with framaroot 1.6.1 but it gives me Error #9, try different exploit.
What shall i do please let me know .

Try 1.6.0... a person messaged me and he said it is working

Framaroot 1.9.1 with Barahir exploit worked on device. 2nd day of ownership and my warranty is void now

U can get Back ur warranty any time by Unrooting..
So your warranty never gets Void

uchihaobito is right, but make sure you have stock rom installed. Else they will get to know.

Yesterday i brought q1010i .. And now scarred to root this phone ..if this phone not boot up ..stuck to boot ..? .
Can u give link of its official rom ..and CWM recovery also ..
And plz tell me which framaroot version works properly for q1010i

Hi Mr.Jatt! Your device won't be bricked while rooting. Sorry, but i cannot find XOLO Q1010i Firmware or rom.. Rooting never bricks.

So after rooting how can i take backup of my whole rom ..
If CWM recovery will work then i will become so easy to take backup and restore rom

do you propose to make it on CWM builder? is it safe? i would love to have a tested recovery. we have no stock rom yet and the battery is non removable.

USE MTK Droid n Root tools to backup your phone first. Then upload the recovery.img.

Ok ..do u want official xolo q1010i recovery to make cwm or twrp recovery..? ..

To my knowledge its only for newer software. But don't quote me on it. If you wanna root, just try it out, if it fails you can just Odin back to stock if it bricks

It's nothing but flashing CF Auto root which doesn't work as I've already tried it after installing OTA yesterday which ended up bricking my phone

yeah right there is a comment below that post saying it doesnt work....

I've shared recovery.img and boot.img file from kitkat firmware in CF Auto root thread so hopefully @Chainfire should be able to update the same

Sorry for this. Yeah, I also tried, did not work.
I saw that this was posted on 20Aug and the firmware version mentioned on the blog also Kitkat firmware, that was the confusion.

Did you try towelroot? Maybe it will work... it is more safer than cflautoroot..
In my snapdragon note 3 neo with kitkat towelroot is working fine..

It never worked on both JB and Kitkat on Exynos Note 3 Neo and I've already tested it

Nope.. Still waiting for root method. Messaged Chainfire with recovery.img, but no reply yet.
Tried manually rooting through Linux Ubantu, No success...:crying::crying:

PS : Once you tap Green circle, you will get blue button down there. >> exit app, relaunch kingapp >> it will again throw blue box (with junk written) >> tap it (it will install kinguser) >> then follow steps in link!!!

Sorry for the delay in reply..
Here is a rooting doc attached for your reference.
With this rooting technique, I have rooted my fone multiple times after fresh install of firmware!

It seems Lollipop Updates for Android One WILL start to come out soon...

Xolo's One device has received the Lollipop update.
Soon, we'll be getting it for our Micromax Canvas A1. Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice Dream Uno will also get it soon.
Meanwhile, let's check if this Xolo One update would be compatible for our phones.

It's Indonesian lollipop backup, man. It's good but SD card won't be properly mounted for Indian users in that ROM. So we're all waiting for official update.
