Fugoo BT Speaker - Nexus 7 (2013) Accessories

I am wondering if anyone other than me bought a Fugoo speaker to pair with the Nexus 7? I love the speaker and it works well with my Samsung Galaxy S4. However, when paired with the Nexus 7, it stutters all the time. It doesn't matter whether I have WiFi or not. I am currently working with Fugoo's customer support trying to solve the problem (they have excellent CS by the way). But, I am seeking any additional insight from users.

Problems with A2DP and WiFi

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if you guys covered this (I looked all over the board and found nothin') but I was clued into what I consider a pretty big minus on my new EVO.
I have the Motorola HT820 bluetooth headphones. I know they're kind of old but they work pretty great and they have damn good battery life. I've had them for a while and I used to use them flawlessly with my iPhone 3Gs.
For the first time, I decided to take my Evo for a gym run. I was able to pair it correctly and it even detected that it does both A2DP stereo and regular hands free calling. Problem is, the music would constantly skip and stop/start. Didn't realize this till I was in the gym where I REALLY needed it.
This morning, something told me to try it again but this time disable the Wifi. No skips, no breaks in the sound at ALL?!
WTF?
Is this common knowledge that I just stumbled across or have I uncovered something here? I know A2DP may not be the main focus of alot of users but I love it and the HT820s are perfect fit for active gym session.
Had anyone else experienced this weird stuff with the WiFi?
The only other issue I can think of related to WiFi is not being able to get Ymail (not yahoo mail) through WiFi. Works great on 3G.... Weird huh?
So what about it guys?
Kc

nexus 7 gen 1 or 2?

I'm thinking of converting to tablet car radio. I have come to the conclusion that buyinga nexus 7 would be the ideal way to go; however, I do not know which model would be best. I know the specs of the two tablets and gen 2 is a better candidate, but is it the better tablet in terms of car stereo integration? Things I want out of it is larger external drive either sdd or flash, back up cam, usb audio, extra power via usb, on and off with ignition cycle, bluetooth phone with external mic.
I got my Nexus 7 today in the mail. I bought it for the exact same reason you're looking for it. I read and read some more and came to the conclusion based on price. I got mine used, shipped on eBay for 80 USD.
To be honest the first gen model is just fine for use as a media player for an auto install. GPS seems OK and if I remember correctly Autodroid which you should be researching runs quite well. Something about the kernel allowing otg and charging by default.
I'll be installing mines in the coming days so if I run into issues I'll hit you up.

I haven't even looked at the rooting of the device. I currently own a galaxy pro 8.4 and like it - would have been awesome if I could have integrated it some how, but it won't fully work like the nexus can.
I am set on the rom if it works with both gen 1 and 2 if not I will probably pay timur for the "sponsorship" to use his kernel for the 2013. Now the only thing I am not certain how to do and I have researched quite a bit is the bluetooth calling. How does one accomplish this. I have the tablet talk already and use it with my pro and note, but I am also on a bluetooth headset connected to the tablet. How does one accomplish this via vehicle without a HU. I'm not adding the head unit like I have seen it done - makes this idea pointless for me. I want just the tablet, my amps, speakers.
I pretty get everything except for the bluetooth calling and how this is accomplished. I have the behringer uca222 and I have seen discussions about connecting a noise cancelling mic to the input, but the discussion stops short; nothing on how to get this part of the process work. I connected the mic, now what? Gotta do more research or just purchase the parts and R&D it.
It's a toss up in my opinion. However, with the 2013 WiFi models dropping down close to $100, I'd have to lean towards the 2013 over the 2012.

Multiple bluetooth device problem

I seem to be having an issue connecting to multiple bluetooth devices at the same time. When I had my note 7 I could connect to my gear s2 watch and then when I got in my truck it would connect to my radio. With the pixel xl , it connects to my watch automatically but when I get in my truck I have to go into the bluetooth settings on the phone and manually tell it to connect to the radio. Help, it's bugging the crap out of me and I really want to like this phone but it keeps coming up with reason for me not to.
Haven't had a non-nexus device for years but at least Nexus 5 and Nexus 6P have the same behavior you mention and I can confirm with my Pixel and my Huawei Watch.
As I'm not using the functionality to talk directly over my watch I deactivated the "play smartphone audio over smartwatcg" setting on the watch.
Tried to switch Bluetooth connections with the app Trigger but that haven't worked that well.

Same issue here. Also using the Huawei watch and also had to disable calls over the phone because of the exact same issue.
Hopefully Google will address this limitation in the future.
My experience has been about the same. With my s7 edge and note 7 it would pair with my truck and my gear S2. My nexus 6p and pixel xl will only work with 1 of them at a time. I would think it would have something to do with Samsung products being able to connect differently to their smartwatches. I went to a Verizon store the other day and asked them about their smartwatches and they confirmed that the smartwatches they had in stock would only work if it is the only Bluetooth device connected to the phone. I don't know how much truth is in that but I have seen it happen with my watch and truck Bluetooth. Also, I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra and it is my second Toyota truck in 2 years and I can tell you that their Bluetooth is horrible. Even without anything connected to my phone it still has trouble pairing and that has happened on multiple phones including my wife's iPhone.
I have a similar issue with my OG Moto 360. When my Pixel XL is connected to both, my 2016 F150 and my watch, I can't use the steering wheel controls for the Bluetooth streaming. The album art also won't show up on the screen. I'm mostly waiting for the sync 3 update so Android auto is available.

Poor telephone quality Note 10+

Hi
I tested the quality of the telephone part of the Note 10+, it average listening, the sound is as smothered. In speaker mode (free hand) it is catastrophic compared to the previous smartphone, as soon as we 'away from the phone more than 1.5 meters is very bad the correspondent hears hatched.Call the Samsung SAV, no problem known at this level. I put a post on the forum Samsung France and several people told me they have the same problem and that it was inadmissible for their high-end. Do you have a back on this. Thank you.

Hi .
Curious I had 4 in the hands and all had the same problem so I made a post on Samsung France and several users have found that.
Could this be due to a bad series in production? In any case on the forum us some who have the same problem are very angry.
After having at samsung a clam shell, a slider, an S1, an S5, a mote 1, a Note 2, a Note 4, an S7 and last A40. They are all excelent in telephony. The problem is that Samsung does not do not react.
Even the service told me to return it and get it refunded. Damage aside it was a good smartphone. I am waiting to see more responses on the forum. Thank you for your return.
See your soon

Bluetooth Range Watch GT2 help

So I switched to the GT2 because of the Bluetooth 5.1, expecting far better range. I use a Samsung Note 8 which has Bluetooth 5.0. So far I have been disappointed, is it the watch or the phone? My phone is in the kitchen and when I go upstairs to my office I frequently get disconnected, and further it pften fails to reconnect automatically. Also, range sems to have gotten a little worse over the last month.
Suggestions?
Good to know... I sell my GT 1 because it never reconnect automatically... So GT 2 have the same problem?
Its better but not as good as I had hoped, though I don't know if it is the phone or the watch (Samsung Note 8 with BT 5.0)
