[Q] Xperia neo L bootloop - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hello,
I did an insane mistake. I successfully rooted my neo L. In order to backup apps and remove bloatware, I installed Titanium Backup.
But during uninstall of bloatware by Titanium I forgot to uncheck some crucial apps, and in panic, I accidentally removed my battery.
And then after I inserted it and restarted, I got stuck in the bootloop.
Symptoms-
1. No LED blinks
2. Cant get into recovery mode (power button press + repeatedly pressing up volume button)
3. Repears after SONY logo is shown.
4. Can't use PC companion or other softwares that ask me to move file into SD card because PC can't detect phone in this state. Only Flashtool works, but isn;t helpful.
I tried the following using flashtool, with no success-
1. Reflashed the "MT11i_4.1.A.0.562_kernel" and "Neo L_4.0.4_MT25i Kernel Only"with using DoomLord's root toolkit in between..
2. Reflashed with "MT11i_4.1.A.0.562_kernel" and "MT25i_4.1.B.0.631_KERNEL ONLY" with DoomLord's root toolkit in between.
Can somebody please help me???

Once happened to me, I tried pressing the recovery mode combination and it worked only after 20-30 times I tried.

how can i connect my phone?
Refer to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
Use the Rubber Band Trick.
like how many hours?
All you need to do is hold power and volume+ until the phone vibrates 3 times. Then open PC Companion and do the repair phone procedure, and follow instructions. Your phone isn't bricked, you just damaged the OS and now it can't start anymore.
If you have CWM Recovery you should simply reinstall your rom from a flashable zip.
i tried the rubber band trick for about 16 hours nothing happened just RED led light. (
@MarkMRL- my pc companion does not recognize my phone. i pressed the POWER and VOLUME UP nothing happens. What will i do?
I have SUPERSU. i didn't intall any rom on my phone. i just followed easy rooting toolkit by DOOMLORD.
METHOD 2. (( Please help me. Thankyou:angel:
Note that chainfire 3d will cause bootloop on ics and jb os, its for gingerbread

try reflashing the stock rom with SUS instead
if all else fails.... take the phone apart.. disconnect the battery from the motherboard.... start flash tool and have your file ready to flash... with usb plugged into phone... .... connect the other end to the computer... hold the volume down button.... plug battery cable back into mother board. NOTE: you should already have flashtool running and the screen telling you to plug in your usb... If it doesnt work the first time... try again.
I know this is something you don't really want to do... but the other tricks and tips did not work for me... this is what i did and i got it running again.
Why are you guys suggesting such invasive methods of repair that will make him risk breaking his phone completely?
He isn't doing the standard PCC repair procedure right, maybe because he's nervous and has been confused by your insane suggestions.
You need to do this:
1. As the phone is bootlooping, hold VOLUME UP and POWER for a few seconds until the phone vibrates 3 TIMES
2. Phone is now turned off DO NOT CONNECT IT TO PC, open Sony PCC, click on "Support Zone", click on "update phone", a window will inform you that there is no phone connected, in that window, click REPAIR PHONE
3. Follow instructions
4. This is important, when it tells you to connect the phone, do exactly what it says: HOLD VOLUME DOWN AND WHILE HOLDING THAT BUTTON CONNECT THE CABLE. If you did it right, the phone will light the notification led in the color GREEN
5. PCC will install drivers if needed, and then reflash your phone with stock FW (you will lose all your data except SDcard/internal memory contents, such as photos and videos)
If you want to try and recover the phone without losing data, you need to download an FTF of your current rom, and flash the phone with Flashtool instead. Before flashing, after selecting the ftf, you need to deselect "Wipe Data". When it asks you to connect the phone, do what I said in point 4, not what flashtool tells you to do.
Remember to instal CWM and make a backup before installing risky programs.

i'm asking u to help me please guys..

hi guys...
I don't speak English well so i'm sory for my bad english
I will try as possible to clarify the problem and what exactly happened and I hope you understand what I mean
i have sony Xperia S lt26i with unlocked bootloder i flashed it with stock kernal and rom ics 6.1.A.2.55
and i rooted it via EROOT TOOLS and i flashed in to it the CWM recovery
my phone work well until yesterday .. I was trying to experience many of applications and games that i downloaded recently
So I was make a backup for my rom through CWM recovery..Then i started to install those games and apps ..Some of them had been working well and the others caused some problems and error and my phone Become more Slowly and less responsive, and i had got some time freezing even after the uninstalling those programs and games.
So I decided to restore the previous systems through CWM..so opened cmw interface and i restored my backup until it show me the restoring complete and i need to restart my phone ...
Here the problem began after reboot .. my phone got stuck in sony logo startup screen and won't to login into android system or shutting down or cmw even when i press the power key... until i think the battery got empty .. so i connect my phone to charging it. after that the phone show the red light (charging mod) and after 10 minutes then the screen back to lighting again and it stuck in sony logo until the battery empty
i had trying to press the power key +volume up it restart the phone but the same problem still... even i had trying to put it into flashmod or fastboot but the phone won't to response to any of this 2 mode .. even when connecting the phone with pc .. the pc not see it at all
so what i can do.... help me please
my life is still parked since yesterday
Check if the fastboot and flashmode drivers are properly installed on your pc.

Hold volume up and power button for 10-15 seconds, until you feel one vibration, and then after a while u will feel 3 continuous vibrations.. Then the phone is fully turned off.. Now connect to PC in flash mode and flash a new rom with kernel..
Good luck..!

does your device boots in flashboot mode or fastboot mode or not
just hold volume down and connect to pc and open flashtool
if it is detected by flashtool then you need to flash stock ftf firmware
but if not then you're most propably hard bricked
best of luck :good::good:
No, you have softbricked the phone if you have hard bricked the phone then your mobile doesn't vibrate also.

[Q] My Xperia S won't start up. (Expected to Have Bricked) Full story inside

Hello everyone. This is my first post here but I have been lingering around XDA particularly in Xperia S android development forum.
Today, I'm having a problem with my XS that it won't start up after i've done a few things related to installing new ROM in it. I'm not sure if it's bricked or anything but here's the full story and please tell me after reading:
My phone is as follows:
Xperia S
Unlocked Bootloader
Rooted
1) I was in my Recovery Mode (not TWRP as I was using a 4.1.2 JB ROM before) with a ROM installed.
2) Wiped Cache
3) Install ROM from SD Card
4) Successfully went through the ROM install wizard and installed it perfectly. I could've just used the ROM as usual but suddenly..
5) Then I went into Settings, I decided to do a Factory Reset (With wiping the internal storage too) <--- I thought doing this would only reset the current recently installed ROM and not wipe the ROM itself)
6) It reboots and bring me to the Recovery Mode page
7) I chose reboot my phone now option
8) It rebooted with the SONY logo on for a while
9) And then the triangle settings logo with a spanner and screwdriver logo show up. The screen stayed for a while like 20 seconds
10) And then it goes black..... and I can't get it start ever again (yet)
I don't know what on earth was I thinking doing a factory reset... that was dumb of me
That's how the story went... what should I do?
I've tried:
Holding the power button for 20 seconds(or longer), no vibrations, led or anything
Holding the vol up button for 20 seconds(or longer), no vibrations, led or anything
Holding both power+vol up button for 20 seconds(or longer), no vibrations, led or anything
Connecting the phone to laptop using USB to see if it is detected by my laptop but no nothing happened though (I did not press any button while connected)
Enter FLASHMODE using the proper way (using flashtool and everything) but fruitless
Charging so that the Red LED comes out when phone runs out battery and resetted. But so far still nothing (6 hours+ charging)
So at this point what has happened to my phone? Is this considered 'bricked'? Is it over for my phone now? Can I do anything to get it back running? Please help.
Thank you so much in advance for reading and helping me out.

[Q] Xperia S Hard Reset

Hi, I`m trying to hard reset xperia s (l261i) phone (forgot pattern and account and secret question).
Problem is-
A. Sony Companion can`t access the phone because it can`t access a locked phone.
B. Power button + Vol Up button + Camera button not working (first I get 1 vibrate, and a second later another 3 vibrates, and a few seconds later same thing again, and again, and never really booting up).
C. Any other combination not working (tried Power button + Vol Up/Down).
D. Can`t enter fastboot/flashmode.
*Plus, I`m not quite sure because this isn`t my phone, but I`m pretty sure the phone is not rooted nor have USB debugging mode enabled or any other advanced users features on. Also, the phone is on MTP mode (the one that does not help me at all).
Can you guys help me? really don`t understand why this is happening and I found nothing on the web.
