Hello All,
I've recently upgraded my Xperia ZL to the newest STOCK ROM from NUT
[STOCK][C650X][4.4] Update to 10.5.A.0.230 [Root & XZDR]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761662
and just noticed today that hotspot doesn't work, it is my first time trying it after the 4.4.2 upgrade.
It was working fine before on 4.3, and it was same rooted stock ROM from NUT as well.
Anyone having this problem as well? or have a possible solution for this?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information.
Do you know where can I get the stock ftf?
Thank you.
Here is an update of this issue that I had.
I did reverted back to the 4.3 yesterday and the hotspot was working fine.
and upgraded again to 4.4.2 and flash the FTF for c6502 again, exactly the same one I've used before.
and guess what happened this morning after I replied previous post. I've turn on the hotspot, and it works fine.
Reboot it once one hour ago and hotspot still working fine.
Maybe something went wrong from my initial upgrade.

I want to flash CM 10.2 again on my Ace II because I'm having some issues with the mobile network since I flashed it from my original Gingerbread. Now I know I need an official Jelly Bean, but they didn't release an update in my country (Bosnia & Herzegovina) so what do I do now? Does that mean that I can't flash CM 10.2 at all without having some problems or is there a solution for me? Will it work if I flash an unofficial JB custom ROM? If yes can someone link me to such a ROM?
Thank you in advance
You can install all JB stock roms for europe and than flash CM
So let's say I take a JB firmware for Germany and flash it on my Bosnian device it will work for flashing CM...maybe I should mention that I have a carrier lock, could that be a problem? Thank u for ur reply
Sent from my GT-I8160 using XDA Free mobile app
It should work. I flashed a lot of stock ROMs from a lot of countries, and every one of them worked flawlessly. The carrier lock shouldn't cause any problems, although you might want to backup all of your data, just in case.

I can't believe it worked. I've been waiting for months for the OTA update, but I guess flashing was the only solution...now I have an official Jelly Bean and tomorrow CM 10.2 hopefully without any problems. Thanks a lot guys
After i installed android L on my One M8 wifi problem started. When i lock the device wifi connection is break. How am i solve it ? Anybody know this problem ?
Edit : The problem is only Sense roms , not aosp roms.
Edit 2 : And the problem starts with install android L. How can i downgrade from android l to kitkat ?
I've got the same issue. Bluetooth has been acting up as well, though I think that's an unrelated issue for me. Personally, I Dont want to go back to kitkat after using L, so if anyone knows of a fix that'd be awesome.
Also, I am 99% sure I'm on the correct fw and have supercid enabled. Dunno if it makes a did but I have art as well.
I back the kitkat and problem doesnt seen but i wanna use android l. Somebody help us
Same problem. I bought m8 yesterday and i have updated it 5.0.1. Wifi does not work. Im so mad guys. Help please.
I think its the general problem for android l users. Am i wrong?

You need to update your firmware. Discussed in many other threads already.
I've already install last firmware.

Yesterday I flashed the ViperOne 4.0 beta, and my wifi kept dropping out as well. I was using 3.28.401.9 fw, because I read on a few threads that the 4.4.4 fw was compatible with Lollipop.
An hour and a half ago, I flashed 4.16.401.10 firmware, and my wifi has remained connected. Hopefully it stays that way.

If you installed latest try to reflash the Lollipop Rom again and it should work, I've seen the issue and most users fixed it with a reflash.
Before and after reflashing perform a factory reset/wipe.
Same. All the sense roms which based on android l, have that problem. Now i stay on kitkat (android revolution) and its nearly perfect. I think im gonna stay kitkat while the problem is solving. (sorry for english)

It's ok, KitKat is stable.
I use Lollipop, with no issues, but depends of the carriers, they push the updates.

Yeah. Even though I got wifi working on mine, I'm just test driving it and checking out what's new. I'll flash my 4.4.4 nandroid before I go to work tomorrow. Then prolly flash my lolli backup when I get home to play with a bit more tomorrow night.
Anyone solve this problem

Yes. I flashed 4.xx firmware (4.16.401.10 to be exact, might be different for your model) and I have no wifi problems whatsoever anymore.

Get into ADB/fastboot and do fastboot getvar all, then post the readout here. Edit out your serial # and IMEI for your own safety. Never post those on a public forum.
Thanks for helping. I will try it and then post here the results.
Hello there, I'm currently using android revolution hd lollipop Rom so my firmware is 4. something, but I'm not overstruck on lollipop, I'm s-on, can I just flash a 4.4.4 Rom or is there more to it (I fancy flashing the viper Rom) sorry for being a noob lol
You can if you wish but if you've been using LeeDroid (good ROM) you might be using the new FW (4.16.401.10). If so, 4.4.4 ROMs won't work properly (things like WiFi will die)
Thank you my friend....yeah I'm on the 4.16 firmware, but do not like lollipop....so I'm stuck with it ....

Actually, ill take back the badness about lollipop, only owned this phone for two days, used lollipop on other phones, and its been sluggish and battery hungry, but HTC (and the legend @LeeDroid ) have created a nice rom, and the battery is very good, its actually not much different than kitkat
oh and @EddyOS thank you for your past roms you have posted, used to work in a phone shop, used to use your stock rooted roms on many many HTC phones respect mate!
No worries, been a long time since I made a ROM!
needrom . com has the rom. im not allowed to post links so yeah. but i am installing it now. i will keep everyone updated on how it goes.
Official Lollipop 5.1
.. is found on needrom.

Nice. Tried LL (spanish mod) and so far so good.
I am running the Beta3 Version (including TWRP) and had to flash it 3 times until everything worked.
Its crazy sometimes, but after the first installation the internnal memory was not working.
After i did the same thing again. The internal memory was working but the bluetooth stopped working.
Now, after flashing it the 3rd time everythings seems to work fine.
Its important to have twrp because you need to flash the rooting zips and gapps.
but it works nice no further issues so far. ( I have a S3S)

Hi guys. I'm a noob so please bare with me. This was the first time for me ever doing this kind of stuff to my phone.
I got annoyed with the laggines of my E975 and gave a shot for installing a custom ROM. I rooted the phone, unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP and installed this ([ROM][OFFICIAL][5.1.1][GEEHRC] XenonHD 5.1 Stable/Weekly).
Everything went fine this far but then I noticed that the sensors weren't working. So I searched for advice and got my sensors back in game with the help of this post. That being, I'm back where I started.
The question is, can I install the XenonHD ROM in a way that the phone's sensors do work after the installation? I fell in love with the overall experience and smoothness of that particular ROM and would like to use it in the future. Or is there another ROM I could use that would work on my phone and give a similar user experience?
The phone is running Kitkat 4.4.2 and I guess that the firmware version is V20A.

Before installing xenon Rom. Flash and run for 5 minutes this http://buf.jollaman999.com/Requests/AXXION-v1.6.0-OFFICIAL-gee.zip Rom. This should fix sensors problem.
