[Q] Debrand 3G network from my n7100

Hello, my first post can you please give me a hand..
I bought a samsung note n7100 from 3G and it has got the 3G branding on it, so all theyre logos are all over my phone and it is very annoying. I want to get rid of them and the only way iv read is to download a firmware and flash through odin. However im finding it hard to locate the correct file. I do not want to bring or damage my new phone..

What is your country ?
You are good with any stock firmware for your N7100.
sammobile.com is your source . But be aware that changing the CSC will wipe your phone. And this is where all the branding resides.

question regarding indian i9192

i am planning to get i9192 this week!!
what i wanted to ask is that it will mostly come with i9192dduamj2 or updated firmware.
is knox security enabled in indian version of i9192???
if yes then i will not buy that device...

Replyed to u in the other post, for referance TILL NOW 28/11/2013 i don`t see any firmware for India wirh new Knox bootloader

i also bought s4mini i9192 after grand...
i bought in october, and updated it to latest i9192dduamj2 updated in october itself...
as of now... there is NO icon of knox in menu... but application manager shows a KNOX STORE of 4.00kb

and i think... knox wud b a paid service and not all users are enterprise users...
moreover it wud b a premium suite upgrade from samsung..maybe bundled with 4.3 update... maybe optional..
k2wl.. purchase the handset... so v cud see some dev in s4 mini duos indian version...

hello i am form philipines and i have this galaxy ace s5830. i did upgrade it to official 2.3.4 and now iwant to upgrade it to a higher version? what firmware is suitable for my country? is it okay to use another stock firmwares from other countries? btw ididnt buy this phone in my country . ithink my mom bought it at honkong but at the back of the phone says made by samsung heeeeeellllppppppppp!!!! can i use some firmwares from other countries???

not our phone but i dont think so, hk region devices have different basebands(for ours)

[Q] Which i9192 modem to use in Europe?

Hi all,
I have a Galaxy S3 already and have been following this forum for a while, but I have never had problems with it as with this one. It's about my Galaxy S4 mini DUOS (i9192). I've bough the phone from an unofficial seller because i9192 was never supposed to be imported in Croatia (EU). The phone came with I9192XXUAMF7 build and modem. Today I've expereinced that the phone was running fine but I couldn't make any calls and nobody could call me untill I've taken out the battery and SIM. It was runnign on one SIM only. Network was OK and signal was full. I' would like to change the modem to see if that's the problem.
My question is - has anyone experienced anything similar or has changed the XXUAMF7 modem? I'm located in Croatia (Europe) and the closest country modem localisation is Ukraine. Should I change it to Ukraine modem?

I find Ukraine/Russia/Afghanistan/Uzbekistan Modem/Rom combo best in my region ( Romania )
Take care tho latest roms contain Knox bootloader Either flash one that have bootloader removed that i posted on this forum, or u can try the rom i use

Thanks for the notice! I have SGS 3 and it has no Knox bootloaders so I'm not familiar with it but from what I've read it's a no no. My original bootloader is stock Samsung. No Knox icons in download mode. I just might try your ROM. Have been reading about it just a few minutes ago.
I've been listing sammobile FWs and it gives me Russian and Ukrainian ROMs. You're suggesting I give one of them "a spin"?

Yes BUT ! Do not download any firmware that have MK4 MK5 ML1 ML2 ML4 NA2 in name They contain Knox bootloader

[Q] KitKat Update Help needed please !

Hi !
I live in Bangkok, Thailand and have Note GT-N7100 unlocked.
Can I update manually with Odin the version of KitKat from France to use in Thailand or you would advice me to wait until the Thai version is here ?
Any difference ?

You can flash the France version while you wait till Thailand gets the official release.No harm.
Download it from https://mega.co.nz/#!2QRmCbyb!YkWs927BfvYxqL-vJiQHXkshqG3UtqHm4XIDbgLsEK0 ( NE1 France) instead of the slow speed of sammobile.It's zip file extract it you'll get the tar file.On odin select AP/PDA tab and choose this .tar file and flash.Good luck.

Hi , guys i updated my Note GT-N7100 from 4.3 to 4.4 N7100XXUFND4_N7100OJVFND3_PAK now that my wifi is working but mobile network is not working , it says emergency calls only

Only the thailand firmware version could work perfectly with your mobile sim
so i advice you to wait the kitkat update for your country to avoid this problem

That's not true , most of us who are running custom ROMs are running ROMS that are not based on our country's code,you dont expect a developer to make ROM for each country's stock firmware version. People here have flashed STOCK rom from other countries and using it without hiccups in their country ofcourse he can wait for the official firmware release for his country which no one knows when it would be released.
