Hello, my first post can you please give me a hand..
I bought a samsung note n7100 from 3G and it has got the 3G branding on it, so all theyre logos are all over my phone and it is very annoying. I want to get rid of them and the only way iv read is to download a firmware and flash through odin. However im finding it hard to locate the correct file. I do not want to bring or damage my new phone..

What is your country ?
You are good with any stock firmware for your N7100.
sammobile.com is your source . But be aware that changing the CSC will wipe your phone. And this is where all the branding resides.

I have Rooted my TAB but in the process the IMEI and all info from EFS Folder was lost..... as a Newbie I did not made a BackUp of this folder....

Go to sammobile.com and select your device, you must register your name and than you can download the ROM.
I hope these are helpful
Already check in SAMOBILE but the fike is not uplaoded at this moment...

Your are from Israel?
Were you habe bought you Tab,have you got the org. Box, is The country code writen in this box?
Your sales code are an CEL / PTR or PCL, thats are codes for Israel.

It was purchased in America. I do have the originalbox. All of the printing on the box is in Spanish. I don't see any of those CEL/PTR OR PCL codes on the box. Where can I locate the info to find thecorrect firmware?

Normaly The box has an sticker with this code.
For USA is The CSC code AWS/ cwl /dob / tmb

Your CSC code chn ,that means China, so you must search a Rom what have AS PDA sm-t211XX... And CSC ....chn...

Thats right, but i think you can usw also a Rom witch has ATO or DBt as CSC code, thats from Austria / Germany and its not carrier brandet.
Also most of The Language are supportet

Important is that you have a Stockrom and all status are original / offical, no flash counters.

Yes for warranty. I've flashed a custom ROM before but I updated the ROM from the OTA and I lost root access. Now, I need warranty so Iwant to go back to 100% stock.
Should I go based off of the CP or AP#?

i have bought my s4 mini just today.. now i want to upgrade it to kitkat.. but the software is not available in pak.. so how can i do this ? plz tell me.. on sammobile firmwares if i flash 4.4.2 firmware of any other country will it harm my device ????

No it will not harm your device but you have to make sure you know what you're doing. I recommend waiting for the update to get released in your country and download it over the air easier.

if you want a decent upgrade wait for your country .. if you want it so bad download the firmware of the countrey near you to get a good signal BUT i have to address the following
-if the firmware isn't for your country it will work 100% but in wcdma you may lost h+ connection (will remain h.. not sayin it will but may do that.. didn't happen to me thankfully but some guys reported this)
-upgrading to official Sammy kitkat will upgrade to Knox 2.0 so YOU WILL LOSE ANY WAYS OF DOWNGRADING AND YOU WONT BE ABLE TO GET ROOT EASILY !!

model number is i9190
Just look for a good tutorial and carefully follow every step. It's not that hard, and if you make no mistakes, you'll have your phone running Kit Kat normally.
i want to update to kitkat now.. which country's firmware should i flash ??

The country thing won't change anything.
You are able to downgrade to 4.2.2 in the i9195 version, but I am not sure about the i9190 version. Be careful. Be sure what you are doing when flashing with Odin.

However the CSC variants in the stock only contains Korea telecom (as mentioned in the CSC thread by ecoco1)
I am trying to use the old fashion way: flash in the combination firmware, switch the CSC and then flash back to stock, in which, the CSC I am looking for is in SM-R805F version
However, I cannot find any free source for SM-R805F firmware online... all those available , also in this XDA forum, is only for bluetooth version.
Would anyone in XDA able to source the R805F firmware? (best to have both combination & stock?)

Thanks adfree, but its too late... I have already bricked my brand new galaxy watch...
Now the watch wont go into any mode below. All it does is have a flash of horizontally line screen, consistently.

Tried the method "press 2 seconds, release 1 second" does not work, think it corrupted the partition.
Only mode still work is "download" which shows the screen correctly. What make it worse is I reset the watch before doing this and forget to turn off activation lock (but I have my own user name and password, think that does not make it worse then?)
Appreciate if any idea on how to tackle this... am already thinking about buying the usb connector for odin flash...(hopefully something will make it work again...)

My Galaxy is back alive! Thanks everyone in this thread. Tested the following:
Install R805N firmware: Download mode: Works
Install R805F firmware:
Download mode: PIT fail instantly, without install
Download (Wireless): Able to complete the install -> Fail warning in red -> Bricked
Tried for combination firmware, or CSC only, same result
Guess I will never have chance to change my CSC then...? (Unless there is a combination R805N available which has all CSC countries inside?)

no i am not able to change, as mentioned above, the original firmware does not have other CSC included, flashing any other firmware will brick the watch
i think it will only be possible if R805N has a combination firmware release

I might have the current Australian csc rom with me and hopefully could share it with you but before that....
How do you plan to change it to Australia without changing the csc of watch via combination firmware which, apparently is not available as of now for the 825F model.

I used a combination file from a paid website and it was a wrong file. It bricked my watch and I got it fixed from samsung under warranty. Can you share the firmware you have? Which one is it?

Man I know the paid site all have the wrong combination files. They are cheating and misleading the people that too after taking money. I know what must have happened you flashed a 825U firmware which was listed under 825F section in that website.
Good for you were in warranty. Rest the firmware i had was the same OLB available on that website. So no use.

I don't think the US firmware T-mobile CSC will work in this case, I have not seen anything suggesting it's use is possible for this scenario..
Also if you search SamMobile for the firmware for your device and don't see T-Mobile firmware you will probably need to use custom firmware (with the features added) and root the device (required for custom firmware).

You could probably flash it if the files were released for the model of phone you are using (of which you have not said). At that rate your best off just flashing the carrier firmware itself to ensure full compatibility.
Looking at SamMobile I can find T-Mobile carrier firmware for the N975F, N9750, N975W and N9760
