factory reset maybe ? or just try reflashing even recovery, then custom rom .... if it doesnt work, try finding stock somewhere from the guys here on forum ... and then from that rom, instal rom manager, flash cwm, and custom rom ...
the problem is, is that i cannot boot into a rom to begin with. . . . so my question is, is their a way like the samsung i know has a flash tool, is their anyway for me to completly reset this device, because its f******

Stock Recovery Image for HTC one X plus

Hi friends
im new here so this is my first post, what i want is help from any android expert in solving my problem. see i recently got the HTC one X plus and unlocked the bootloader, and installed clockwork mod recovery and rooted my phone. now when i receive the offical jb ota update, i cannot update it and it says error and i abort the installation and reboot the phone. and by the way all this unlocking and rooting is done thanks to Hasoons2000 tool kit, bless that developer who made this toolkit. so after researching reading many forums and find out that we have to use stock recovery image for htc one +. to fix the problem , i cant find any One X + stock recovery image all i can see are htc one X stock recovery image. but i need the one specific to my phone.
Since i dont want to risk bricking my expensive phone. so guys if you have the solution to my problem please do help me out.!!
no need
First I want to say that this is not Urgent and that's not problem...
also don't make 2 threads you can still bump this up by posting in it...
I think that you don't need this update because it is for stock ROM what you still have left on your phone and you wont see big difference.
For new user you can flash other, maybe even better custom ROM that will make small difference, but you must read what you chose. If you like stock than go for new versions custom ROMs with stock design.
Or if you really want to check out new HTC update you can go back to stock make update and then ROOT again...
But then first find out what will be in that update maybe we alredy have it in custom ROM.
I also had that update but I like stock and I dont want custom ROM yet. So I live without update and with stock ROM. If i want update I have Nandroid backup of stock ROM without root . One thing what I will install on stock is Renovate Gaming boost app I also use twrp recovery because it is touch recovery.
Htc One X+

So very confused :/

Hey guys, Im very new to all this android tinkering and all that so please bare (i think that's the right bare :s) with me.
I have the international HTC One X from Vodafone Australia, I installed Ice Cold Jelly late last year but got sort of bored with it and I saw a thread showing CM 10.1, so i tried to flash that, flashing the boot.img and installing the zip in recovery i thought i did everything right.. but my htc ended up stuck on the android logo :/
i have no idea what to do, cause i can no longer even put another rom on the sd card to flash it..
I really want to just go back to stock rom, i believe you need the correct RUU for it, which i cannot find ANYWHERE. My 'version' is 2.17.862.2.
So can anyone give me any suggestions for what i should do? Is there any other RUU i could possibly use? or a way I could access my phone and put another rom on to flash?
Sorry for the long post, but I want to make sure you guys understand my situation
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I suggest you don't go back to stock, because stock sucks, just my opinion actually xD
Anyway, before you flashed CM10 did you remember to do a full wipe? and have you tried doing 'fastboot erase cache' in fastboot mode?
I suggest you try those
If you have CWM 5.8.4.0 or newer, you can use it to mount the sd card as USB and copy the ROM on.

Htc one x bootloop after stock ota update

Currently running stock 4.0.4 on HOX
i can do 2 - 3 updates OTA and they install just fine.
sometimes on 3rd or definitly 4th update it will get half way through the installation ( through STOCK recovery )
and reboot into an endless bootloop. and if it doent bootloop it just freezes.
Any help would be great!
CID TELNZ001

Hi, is there any custom rom for 3.44.600.1 (m9)?

Hello, yesterday i got a new htc m9 (national country version mexico) and my first thing on mind was "i need to install a custom rom" tjis carrier version do not have alot of bootware but i think the phone can do it better with a custom, i did unlock the bootloader and installed twrp, picked the venom rom and tried to install this rom. But once the flash was done, i got a bootloop, and after a quick research i found that my base is 3.44.600.1 and custom roms are 3.35.xxxx :/ , i had lucky and i found a backup folder for my exact model. But not my question is, is there any custom for 3.44.600.1?
And even if there none, can i fix this problem with the s-ff feauture? (Im s-on) but i have never undertand this s-off s-on thing
