factory reset maybe ? or just try reflashing even recovery, then custom rom .... if it doesnt work, try finding stock somewhere from the guys here on forum ... and then from that rom, instal rom manager, flash cwm, and custom rom ...

the problem is, is that i cannot boot into a rom to begin with. . . . so my question is, is their a way like the samsung i know has a flash tool, is their anyway for me to completly reset this device, because its f******

possible solution
I might have the solution you need.
Check your pm and get back to me.

Did you flash the new radio before flashing the Froyo ROM, all Froyo ROM now require the newer radio and may be the simplest fix to being able to boot your phone. There a links to download this in pretty much every Froyo ROM Thread.
I recommend the following process:
Get the latest radio from the forum topic with all the radio's. Reboot into recovery and flash this zip.
Reboot the phone as your recovery tells you to do. This should flash the radio to the phone completely.
Then try using your phone again. Still having errors and FC's? Then I think you didn't wipe your phone before flashing a new rooted Rom.
Please wipe, then flash your Rom again. No need to flash the radio again.
Hope it helped. Your desire isn't at its end yet boy. It needs to live till Android 3.0!
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Radio is up to date
i tried the flashbooting a new radio on but that didn't work because its already at the correct version.
Is there a way of flattening the phone and starting again?

Locked the Phone after offical 2.3 update

Hi,
I have a serious problem and I could not fix it with anything I tried. Today I had the notification of the official 2.3 update for desire hd. I dowloaded it then the phone is stuck at the htc logo. I tried from bootloder to make factory reset recovery and also tried to flash some roms in fastboot mode.
None of them worked.
My first choice is to get back to 2.2 froyo, but I would like to hear recommendations about custom roms, especially if you have any rom advice wihch can increase battery life etc. I am not an expert in flashing roms however I can also consider for a custom rom in the light of your suggestions. Please help it would be much appreciated.
Regards...
is there anyone who as some comments??
Hello, that sounds rubbish Had you been running a custom ROM before? What network are you on?
got the same problem here too http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14568001&postcount=12
thanks a lot but in this thread it says that it can not be downgraded if it is 2.37 or higher when i have tried to flash a rom i see that the it is currently 2.37.720.3.
Do you there might be also another way??
somebody please help, i am really stuck and can not find any solution, i started to think the phone will be brick. isnt there any suggestion...
and no one has tried the 2.36 RUU!? (stop trying the PD98IMG's off the SD)
i also tried to flash 2.36 up to 2.37 it also did not work....

Use the RUU and your pc to downgrade it to 2.36, it should work regardless of what you have on your phone.
first of all thanks for your comments.
let me tell you what i have done step by step.
ifound the rom below name specified.
RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.36.405.8_R_Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2_release_187331_signed
i enter the bootlodaer because i can not get anywhere else. i plug in the usn then select "fastboot" and it show fastboot usb.
then i run the ruu from pc it starts to flash ( it shows current version 2.37.720.3 and will 2.36. etc. )
then black screen with white htc logo comes but nothing moves further and at the end i get the " Custome ID Error "
i do not know may be i am using the wrong rom if you can please provide another link to another rom or may be a different solution with a custom rom...
i am really stuck at this.
thanks in advance...
Customer ID error normally means you need a goldcard
www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-make-gold-card-for-htc-desire-hd/
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
thanks for yor suggestion i will definetly try it and give results.
but please excuse my lack of knowledge, according to the instructions i have to use " gold card helper " via phone. my phone is now unusable. i have one android hd2 do you i can create the goldcard on hd2 according to the desire hd setting s and use it on desire hd????
thanks again...
i tried the godlcard solution but now it gave the error 140 bootloader version.
the only thing different than the steps it says chosee mmc2 value but on the goldcard helper i only saw mmc1 and i have sent the e-mail according to that...
what should i do?
does anyone has any suggestion??
since now the bootloader is pooched, you've pretty much bricked the device unless you can get your hands on the original ruu that your carrier uses.

[Q] cannot enter to recovery mode or reflash

Hello XDA comunity,
I have little bit problem with phone from my friend. He bought in germany HTC One V and wants czech localisation in this phone. This language is not there in this phone, so I tried solve it by reflash phone by any rom, which has czech language.
I unlocked bootloader, flashed CWWM recovery, but I cannot get into recovery. I spent a lot of time today by trying everything possible. I Tried TWRP too and any custom CWWM in threads from people with same problem. Everytime when I try boot in recovery, there is message, that this build is only for purposes of HTC and phone freezes or reboots.
When I tried to flash any shipped RUU ROM, I get error 155 firstly, then I relocked bootloader and error 130.
So I cannot flash another RUU ROM neither custom ROM, because I cannot start recovery.
Has anybody an idea? if you will need more info about phone, I will post it there.
Thank you very much!
Have you tried this...

Try with Android Ultimate Toolbox Pro - The Ultimate Android Utility
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886562
Is it Primo U or Primo C?
When it's stuck right there, make sure you also flashed the right kernel...
KREDDYT: thanks for tip, I will try this.
It is Primo U and CID is VODAP102, can be this CID source of troubles?
//Edit: I got message about recovery mode as before, but now it boot into recovery mode, so I can do backup - thank you one more, I will try flash rom throught it...
//Edit2: Flashed custom ROM throught recovery, so I have czech language now. Still cannot flash HTC RUU ROM, but I will not experiment probably with this.

So very confused :/

Hey guys, Im very new to all this android tinkering and all that so please bare (i think that's the right bare :s) with me.
I have the international HTC One X from Vodafone Australia, I installed Ice Cold Jelly late last year but got sort of bored with it and I saw a thread showing CM 10.1, so i tried to flash that, flashing the boot.img and installing the zip in recovery i thought i did everything right.. but my htc ended up stuck on the android logo :/
i have no idea what to do, cause i can no longer even put another rom on the sd card to flash it..
I really want to just go back to stock rom, i believe you need the correct RUU for it, which i cannot find ANYWHERE. My 'version' is 2.17.862.2.
So can anyone give me any suggestions for what i should do? Is there any other RUU i could possibly use? or a way I could access my phone and put another rom on to flash?
Sorry for the long post, but I want to make sure you guys understand my situation
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I suggest you don't go back to stock, because stock sucks, just my opinion actually xD
Anyway, before you flashed CM10 did you remember to do a full wipe? and have you tried doing 'fastboot erase cache' in fastboot mode?
I suggest you try those
If you have CWM 5.8.4.0 or newer, you can use it to mount the sd card as USB and copy the ROM on.

[Q] Please help me , switched from HD2

Hello !
I recently switched my good old HD2 (RIP my old "friend") for a HTC ONE X 32 GB.
Now i was reading about flashing a custom rom and today i thought i`ll give it a try.
I flashed Venom 3.7 and all got through smoothly. But i got one Problem
No Signal, and i cant search for a Provider in Network settings (all except Roaming options are grey)
My Provider is "Yesss" from Austria. Its a sub company of Orange Austria.
CID is VODAP120
my Hboot version is 3.14. and i did a Nandroid Backup. (I tried to restore already, but it just boots in Viper Rom again?!)
Anyone got a Tip or advice how to get Network running again? Or did i brick something now ((
Please help and sorry if it stands somewhere, i tried to find infos on forum but im not exactly sure what to do.
THX in advance !!
Syther
Flash the boot.img from the viper rom in fastboot mode, perform a full wipe in recovery and install the viper rom.
Or make a full wipe in recovery and restore the nandroid......
Always perform a full wipe before installing a new rom or with restoring a nandroid backup
