Might sound a bit silly, but I'm trying to root my G3, but I don't even know if the software and device is supported? I'm in the UK, but the build number ends in 589 (not 10xx) so I'm confused as to whether it would work safely?

Have you tried StumpRoot? When all else fails stump usually works or at least it did for my F460S. If you can't brute force it then just message the devs. I'm sure they will be happy to help out.

Hi, unfortunately I have upgraded to Build/KVT49L.D85810b before stump root my LG D858 china mobile. Also bruteforcing doesnt work. will there be a stump root version 1.3 which roots this build? just tell me how to donate. thx
I have an LG G3 D858Hk with Build Number KVT49L.D858HK10f and I tried stumproot. Rooting was unsuccessful. Says, "Deviced is patched, sorry!"
Hi
I'm attempting to root my LG G3 model D855 with the PurpleDrake rooting tool, but every time I try to do it the tool comes up with the following error.
Any idea where I'm going wrong and how can I fix it.
I'm running MacOSX.
Thanks

Theres no current explots for Lollipop
Downgrade back to KitKat and you can root it and install bumped Lollipop if you wish
Ahh ok. Many thanks. I bought the phone with 5.0 already installed. I think I might just wait for when 5.0 root becomes available.

Pretty sure you can downgrade it if you can find the right KDZ
1) What does it say under software version?
2) Is it carrier branded?
3) What part of Europe are you from? I might be able to find the KDZ for you
Software version V20f-EUR-XX
and I believe it's not carrier branded.

Hi, I recently replaced my italian G4 monosim motherboard H815EU updated with nougat with a new chinese unlocked monosim motherboard. Every thinks is ok but now I have MM 6.0 operating system. I want to know how I can update it to nougat even without knowing the model example H815EU, H815TR, H815L, H815P. Can I read on my phone with some hidden menù/phone code the exactly model? Or it doesn't matter and can I upgrade with my previous nougat rom image H815EU downloaded on xda just last year?
I downloaded the image here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-nougat-stock-locked-bootloader-t3709119
In short, can I update to nougat with this procedure https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-nougat-stock-locked-bootloader-t3709119 choosing the H815EU rom even if the motherboard is Chinese or I need to find an alternative system?

You can check the model version with SALT. Its part of the UsU method, which you probably don't need, but the salt tool will tell you exactly what model you have

You probably don't have to do the whole process, just the verification part with SALT

Hi! I need some info on how will i be able to find the correct kmz or firmware for this variant. As what the title says, it is a LM-F100TMW with Android version 11.
When i try to check via IMEI on LGROM, it says that i am using a LM-F100EMW variant from TAIWAN or TWN. I already downloaded the recommended firmware from that website but I'm still not sure if it is the right one.
Just needed to make sure, you know? Haha! Thanks!

If it's not the correct firmware,LGUP will give you an error saying you can't swap firmware from region_x to region_z as an example.

All variants have A13 I have seen.My 2 do,and they're U.S. carrier devices.
Build number: CPH2449_11_A.10
Kernel version: 5.15.74-android13-8-00007-gb328aadc6d46-ab9979065
Check the attached screenshots for the changelog:
Thanks for the infos.
I wonder how many updates to "improve wifi connections" this device will need though. I didnt noticed it at first but wifi is indeed flimsy on this device.

TBO I've never had issues with WiFi connectivity on any of my previous Android phones. To say it's a bummer is an understatement. With A09 I couldn't watch videos online for more than 15 minutes as the device dropped WiFi for up to a minute. I've not tested A10 enough to claim that the issue is resolved.
Rooting with kernel su still working?
i found some point after i update, my phone alway show no sim card. and i checked show unknow version on baseband !!
I found that there is a bug after A09 to A10.
For example, when I tap something in the telegram, the tapped item should be greyed shortly. But I cannot see this....

You most likely have a Chinese phone which was flashed to OxygenOS. You need to (re)install it properly or revert to ColorOS.
