As stable as possible - HTC One X

Hello everyone,
I've been using cyanogenmod for almost as long as I have this phone. Beginning next week I'll receive my new phone (OPO).
Because I want to give my one x to my mother I want the phone to be as stable as possible. I think this means going back to stock (but I'm open to other options if it provides a better experience).
However, I'm overwhelmed with all the information available. So it would be great if somebody could help me in the right direction!
I've seen other topics asking for the CID and version-main so here they are:
CID: HTC__E11
version-main: 3.14.401.31
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Help, what to be carefull not to brick it?

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S and its very easy to install custom ROM's on it but.
A friend of mine has One X and wants 4.1/4.2 with sense
I rooted it but he has a weird CID, how important is the CID not to brick the device?
he has HBOOT 1.12 and from what i know he need a higher version for JB sense. The upgrade i read that is very risky.
Can someone who has patients tell me all the things i need to be carefull if i want, or if i can, to install ca custom ROM with sense+ so i wint brick it.
Before flaming me to search, i did but I'm not confident enough to do it and i cant brick anotherones phone.
Thank you

and find your answer whether your CID is compatible with JB roms or not? If your CID doesn't match with the list then you can't upgrade your HBOOT and please keep in mind that this is developer section please ask your queries in Q&A or general section from next time.
Thak you for the answer
Sorry for that, i don't use the forum for posting that much only for info. Please someone move it to the apropriate section.
The CID is not on the list, its H3G_004
So the only way I can upgrade to JB is to wait for official release?

Yes, that's the only way
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Yes of course wait for official release as HOX doesn't have S-OFF.

Right at the top of THIS forum you posted in is a thread titled "[FAQ] - Frequently Asked Questions - [WIP]"
IN that thread is a section marked "I need a stock NANDROID backup for my CID, where can I find it?"
And the link it points you at tells you all about it! Because this is definitely a frequently asked question that a cursory search could have answered.

I found that, but the file I need is split in 5 parts hosted on nasty sites that would take me an year to download and also I don't like clockworkmod recovery, so I guess I will do it with the RUU instead, but thanks for pointing me there.

Don't just give CID's give main version numbers as well, how do we know which ones you're looking for?
There is a stock recovery for Sprint IN the Sprint Forum, perhaps you didn't look hard enough on xda?
Stock Backups + OTA's It's at the end of the first post.
Here is a direct link to the download anyways... Stock Recovery 1.54.651.8
Here is the Forum you want to be in for most Sprint related issues.

Need help on marshmallow update! (HTC__044)

Hi! i've tried searching around but couldn't find any guides on how to convert my one M9(asia version) to dev/unlocked edition. Any idea how to do it?
I'm a total newbie when it comes to rooting/flashing stuff so if anyone can provide a clear step-by-step guide, it'll be great!
I have a M9u, CID is OPJA100(i think? its printed there my M9 box), Software number 2.11.708.27, HTC__044
S-on, not rooted, bootloader locked. Just a fresh new M9 i've gotten recently
I really wanna try out marshmallow on my M9
I suggest that you wait for the update rather than messing through all the steps cuz u know you are on official stock and unmodified version

Yeah that might be the best and safest option for me right now. Anybody knows when marshmallow will arrive for these asia variants?
If you are not S-off.You can't become a dev version now.Cause Dev version need CID and MID both right.

Thanks for replying. I did manage to use one of his backups to get the ROM with the similar OS 3.42.708.3.
Originally, my HTC One M9 was a Singtel Device from Singapore. I decided to put CyanogenMod 13 onto it (himaul) and it worked fine. However i didn't have Cellular Signals. When i dialed *#06#* to check my IMEI, it was empty and it didn't have a baseband. Now since i found the ROM similar to the one i originally had, it still doesn't show up cellular signals. What may be the cause of this?

You mention this being the M9u, but it looks like it is a standard M9. From your OS version, you seem to have the 401 SKU, which has plenty of support here in the forums. What is the CID & MID?
Also, if you haven't yet, please check out the readme thread, all the basics of the M9 (and a lot of advanced things too) are laid out there.
[edit]I just realized that you resurrected an old thread instead of starting your own, thus my confusion about the model of your phone. Please start your own thread for support and we can help you there

[edit #2]Found your thread in general - that will be the best place to help you out[/edit #2]
