[Q] Compatibility of Paranoid Android custom rom with my Mobicel P7030.V02 - Paranoid Android Q&A

Hi I am pretty new to this so please go easy on me,I've looked around and nothing matches my issue,I am curious as to how I could possibly find a way to flash my Mobicel tablet with a custom rom and how do I go about finding the closest possible alternative if my model isn't listed? Do I try with the similar cpu (MT8312) which is a 1.3Ghz dual core with 512mb ram that's been rooted(if that info helps I hope its sufficient for understanding my stupidity hopefully)my keypad is messed up while I type(not the tab a BB) I am a quick learner and any help would be greatly appreciated, if I missed any info then tell me what to do and I will do it right,Thank you in advance

Kali Asus TF300T Native

Hey guys! I am pretty new to a lot of this rooting and custom ROM installs. I recently picked up an Asus TF300T from a friend at work which i have root(the easy part). The reason why i was looking into this or even a laptop was because i wanted to start tinkering with pen testing with Kali Linux. After a lot of research, trying to retain what information i could, i have found there is an image for Kali for armel. This brings 2 questions to mind that i cannot find the answers to. 1 - Even though the CPU on my Asus tablet is ARMv7 will armel images work? From what i have found, i would want to use an armhf image to flash to the device due to the version of the CPU. And 2 - Is there a distro(i have been unsuccessful finding one) that has the drivers required to make a smoothing working environment? During the course of my research into this issue, i have found there are some distributions of Ubuntu that currently work with my tablet. More specifically Ubuntu Touch(i think?). This got me thinking, since both Kali and Ubuntu are both Debian based distros(i could be wrong, please correct me if i am) could i take the section of the file system from Ubuntu Touch that has the drivers for my tablet that allow it to work correctly and replace it with the section of the file system for the ARM image of Kali? I should mention that i have been able to get Kali to install and run with Linux Deploy. However, i feel it is slower than i was anticipating. And all the tools are there, they just do not open for some reason. Which is a whole different issue that i haven't figured out yet. I was hoping that perhaps one of you may have an idea if the two questions i have posed will work, or could maybe shed some light on how to go about accomplishing what i am trying to do. Or if any of you know of a version of Kali that will work on my tablet or maybe even one someone has already built for this particular model. Any guidance, tips, or knowledge on this subject will be very much appreciated. I understand going out and buying a laptop or a tablet with an image supported on Kalis website would be the ideal and most efficient solution, but i have a bad habit taking the hard way to gain some more information and knowledge haha. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and thanks in advanced for any responses .

What specifics per device are needed to "match" roms to attempt a port or create cust

What specifics per device are needed to "match" roms to attempt a port or create cust
I'm pretty new at all this buy the basics of installing already made roms I get my question is when attempting to create new custom roms what information about the device say (cpu, gpu, modem, kernal, etc) need to match up to attempt using or moding those said parts of the dev process in order to build a working tree. Continued below Sidenote........
Sidenote : idk if the terms I used were correct in there placement or meaning but I feel that any who will reply to this thread probably grasp what I'm getting at.
So essentially what I'm attempting to do is figure out what things to change and how to change them in order to figure out what goes into building a rom or the favorable option that I'm shooting for is what to look for to attempt to match up a already built custom rom from another device I need little to no changes in order to use on my device's, reason being, both devices I am currently woking on, which are a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime sm-g360t and a HTC Desire 626s, do not have a official or even, to my knowledge, have an official CM and honestly besides one,the HTC which I have TWRP and it's running now off the AdvancedStock rom I found on this site and it keeps wanting to break or just doesn't work the way I want .
ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Newbie wanting to flash a rom

Hi all, hope everyone is good
My unit is a 'Eonon GA6151F' Generic unit.
Currently it is untouched but i want to get the latest compatible image that will work the best.
The MCU is MTCB-KLD1-V2.67
Build: RK3188-eng4.4.4 13072015
If anyone has any tips on which version would be better to upgrade to and have a similar device then it would be much appreciated. I would like 5.11 or above but it only has 1GB ram so i would think 5.11 is the highest, or just a better updated version of 4.4.4 would be better ?
If someone could point me in the right direction with instructions then that would be great. I did try to install an image myself but nothing happened when i inserted the SD card with the image on.
Thank you.

We aren't able to determine specific device compatibility without user testing. In order for us to attempt to help you have a successful boot of Bliss OS on your device, you will need to try different .iso's in order to find out which kernel is compatible with your hardware. Please go to the official support thread for further help: https://forum.xda-developers.com/bliss-roms/bliss-roms-development/x86-bliss-x86-pc-s-t3534657
You will need to share what .iso's you have tried when posting. I suggest looking at older Nougat(7.1.2) builds which use the 4.4 version Linux kernel for best possible compatibility. When looking for potential .iso's to test, the kernel version is contained in the .iso's file name(_4.4_ or _4.9_ or _4.16_ etc.)

Need Custom ROM for Huawei MediaPad M2

I would like to request for a custom rom MediaPad M2-A04LV100R001C137B022
I have followed this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...nd-root-your-huawei-mediapad-m2-8-10.3322340/
to root my tablet but all the links are dead.
Please any help would be really appreciate
I'll 2nd that request, specifically for 802L.
Considering the current state of electronics supply chains (semiconductors) and the aging and/or boring tablets on the market ATM, this may be a good time to kick start a custom ROM for this device.
I have a developer background and would be keen on trying a "roll your own" ROM but have questions before I get started:
Considering the age of the last software release (ROM) provided for 802L, would the current drivers work with the latest Android kernel?
Can anyone suggest a helpful 'roll your own' guide (noting I'll be searching XDA forums myself, but recommendations can sometimes speed this process up a bit)?
There has been (what appeared to be) a custom ROM some time ago. I'd love to hear from the developer (ajsmsg78) and what they may suggest moving forwards (if that is a good idea to do so considering my first point above).
It may take me a while to get started as I don't want to brick my device, and I don't have the "unlock OEM" option in my developer menu either (looks like KingRoot may be the way... if it still exists).
Any guidance for this n00b would be greatly appreciated.
It's a shame that my m2-802L, although more capable than my newer Samsung tab A 2017, has to be obsoleted because of the outdated Android OS! So an updated custom firmware would be great.
Would live to revive this table/phone as well.
M2 10 lte
M2A01L custom firmware neded too
great i am looking forward to a custom rom for this device
