I am using Heads Up Notifications via Xposed and every time a notification pops up I get a force close. A message pops up and says something about system ui process has failed.
How can I get Heads Up Notifications working on the LG G3? Has anybody successfully got it to work?

I have heads up notifications enabled via gravity (xposed module) and it works ok, but notifications are a little bit shifted to the right

I just tried heads up via GravityBox as well, and I have the same problem too, if the heads up notification is in landscape it works fine, but in portrait it is shifted to the right just like you said.
Is it possible to fix this or does the developer of the module have to fix it?

Yo! I've been using SMS Popup for some time now and just realized that the led blinking rate and different colors have been working flawlessly ever since I updated my modem/baseband to UVLI3 with Ktoonsez kernel on WildChld's v70 rom. I know there is the Light Flow app, but I just find this a lot more simpler and more useful. Here's the play store link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.everythingandroid.smspopup&hl=en
Enjoy!
SICK!!! Thanks so much for posting this.
The notification (red circle that says 1) on the message icon stays even after I send the message through SMS Popup (yes I disabled notification on stock messenger). Does the notification stay for you guys?

Not sure if the colors work on stock. At least they didn't when i was running stock. To test the colors, I had to send myself test texts.
Ok so on stock you say these wont work at all eh? Ugh.. personally I hate how stock even handles LED anyways.. seems to always cut off. I just dont wanna change roms till official JB comes out and roms are based on it.

Anyone using stock rom with LED stuff working?
Seems like a cool app. Just downloaded it. Hope to give it a good run.
Oh its a very good app. Been here since Htc G1 days. Why Google never added it as an option. No clue. Just wish LED light would work on stock.

I don't have such issue. First what I got in mind is that your cable have broken data wires, so it allow only charging. Can you manually change it to MTP connection in settings and it work?

Yeah, he should check that cable. I'm using few different data cables and no problem here.
This LG Plug & Pop tool show animation when:
USB data cable
Headphones
Dock station
are plugged in. After that bottom animation finished, it call other related application activity. So issue lays in Settings App, why that selections are not shown.
Tyvm, working great. Wish u all the best.?

You mean my mod doesn't fix it for GMD? You still get that FC message?
I am using it with GMD, does the job perfectly. (I his my nav bar and used edge gestures in place of buttons)
Thanks so much dev!! I previously resorted to setting the nav bar height to 1% but that created a lot of problems.
Do you happen to have a fix for double tap on the clock quick window widget? After I disabled the stock player, double tapping on the clock doesn't turn it off but double tapping on the weather one does :/

Thanks for feedback. Good to know that it work with GMD as I think it should.
I stop using quick window feature as I don't prefer that case.

You can post your quick view issue in own thread, either here or in [Q&A]. I don't want to promise anything, but maybe I could have a look.
So let's discuss it somewhere else.
Installed and working perfectly on VS980 (Verizon). Also works with LMT without issue. Thanks for this!!
Forgive my ignorance, but does this only work if you completely remove nav bar? I just shrunk mine by 20% and get plug n play close. Will this work for me? Or is that a feature that could be added?
I am debating getting this phone but I just want to see what do the lock screen notifications look like. Like what do missed text messages and what not look like on this device on the lockscreen. If someone can post a screen shot of that on here that would be great!

Here is how they look. One of the first things I swore I would do when I got the phone was play with the android L style notifications but the G3 works so well I have decided to leave it as is .

the notifications look good but only work for missed calls/texts. Any ideas on how to get Android L heads up to work? The xposed module crashes the ui.
Do text notifications only show like that if you are using stock message?
I use chomp and you just get the icon in the notification bar

Weird. There is a way, yes, to disable it. Even to select how much info it shows up.
But I can't find it anymore, somehow.

Oh yes, it's in Sound.
Talk about awkward placement.
Also, weird. I've got three options: Show all notifications, hide only confidential and hide all
Lucky you

Actually I found a new problem. Disabling the lockscreen notifications also removes them from the status bar, I don't want this. Can it be fixed so that they are in the status bar but don't pop up on the screen when locked?

Exactly! It seems it's all or nothing now. You either get them on the lockscreen and status bar or not at all. The more and more I use Lollipop, the more and more I dislike it. This is yet another reason. Seriously thinking of going back to KK, Xposed and GravityBox.
how to get this lock screen working on G3 20A? the current one just shows 2 notifications and everything else is just a icon.

i think you can't.... LG ruined lollipop with his crap
Think I am having similar issue. I used Heads Up application for notifications (which is good) however since 5.0 heads up still works, but on my pull down screen I also see a similar notification .. that although I have dismissed with heads up, the lollipop notification still exists. I have done hide notifications, but it still seems to be there
Am I just being thick?

Sure. That makes perfect sense.
Is there a way to disable heads up notification while in certain apps?
It's kinda annoying when you are using navigation and the heads up notification blocks the street you are supposed to turn on.
With HeadsOff lollipop heads-up notifications can now be disabled!
No root needed.
You can also restore the ticker text in the statusbar!
Give it a try:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.noheadsup
You can disable it for texts through the stock app. Does the headsoff app actually work with the hangouts app? Read some reviews and it doesn't work for everyone. Thanks.
