Flash through CWM? Or replace manually?
I keep getting a pop up message that says " Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" and I can't do ****! Is there any specific reason that causes this problem? I've had it happen in the past and I just restore my phone, but I'm getting sick of having to do that. Any help I'd appreciate.
Thanks.
I get that at times too.
Only way for me personally to fix is to flash a new rom
I found this happened when I disabled the news app, the one you start by doing from bottom up from the home screen. Try that.

That depends on which rom are you running. The general reason is that systemui can not find the resource it need to run properly. The file it needs may got deleted, disabled or not properly modified. For example, in Omega rom series if 3 min battery mode is removed. To solve this issue, you might want to replace the systemui.apk in system/pri-app with a deodexed one with the SAME BUILD number. . There is a good source you can get that, it is the omega files from Omega Team. Install Omega Files, Choose galaxy note 3, then 4.4 kitcat, omega v23, mods, 3minibattery mod, choose stock battery icons, then it will open a browser window and start downloading. The downloaded file is the flashable file for replace systemui.apk with the stock one. Note that Omega v23 is NI4 based, and you can use this ONLY if you are running a NI4 based rom.

I was using the tweaked 2.0 version for about 4 months and had zero problems. Then I decided to give 3.0 a try and thats when I started getting that error pop up message. I then Installed tweaked 3.9 and same thing. I really like the Tweaked ROM but I may have to go with something different or back down to 2.0. And what you explained to me at the top with replacing the systemui.apk
in system/pri-app with a deodexed one sounds a little too complex . Plus I'm not running the NI4 based ROM.
I appreciate your guys feedback though

No way bro
I think galaxy y cant carry the android L's weight (bu arada selamlar )
You will get installation aborted errors if:
1 - your zip is corrupted or not zipped correctly
2 - using the wrong update binary
3 - errors in the updater script
Errors in updater script can include:
1- wrong syntax or typo
2 - setting a condition & that condition fails for the device you are installed on - eg check build.prop for value xyz & only install if value is true (this is used to only allow zip to install on certain devices)
The first thing you got to do is actually get your Flashable zip working - without it flashing you will never be able to move on to the next step of getting it to boot
Best thing to do is take update binary/script from a custom rom of the same type for your phone (eg stock based or cm)
Build your rom in android kitchen and create zip
Open zip
Replace the update binary in that zip with one from another custom rom
Open update script in your rom
Delete everything above the lines about symlink
Now copy all the lines from another custom rom updater script that are above the lines that are for symlink & past into yours - edit rom name etc if needed
Your rom zip should now flash - whether it will boot is a totally different thing
Please don't ask me to help you with that - There are plenty of guides to help you
Hi every one im trying to find SemcGenericUxpRes.apk in framework folder of the last nougat update of my phone but there is no other apk s in framework folder or any res.apk in whole rom folders , i have to say that i dont have the rom installed on my phone and i searched them in extracted rom , i would really thank you if someone could upload this apk for me here

hello, first of all this phone is mtk right?
second can someone give me the nfc.apk or MtkNfc.apk from stock rom with android 8.1 oreo. maybe can it be from custom rom if android oreo has nfc.apk file from stock. I want the apk under system files
because I have a lenovo k4 note with mtk processor and the nfc doesnt work on android pie custom rom because that the nfc app is from stock wich is marshmallow. the dev said that the file is missing some dependencies maybe with an app from a newer android version would work and as this phone has android 8 oficial rom so maybe is better. thanks
anyone?? just download any root explorer like es file explorer and search for nfc and get the apk that appear. probably is under /system/app/nfc or something or maybe under system/etc or vendor/etc
