I think the antennas are different in the layout... at least in previous models haha. No idea.

So it wont fit?

From what I've seen in pictures for motherboards on ebay, the antennae connection looks to be in the same location. As for other components idk if their locations are 100% same... So it Might fit...might...

you could just switch to sprint, they have a great promotion running {laughing out loud} /s

G.Nexus sprint/verizon/GSM LCD-Digitizer differences?

Hi there,
Looking to see if anyone knows if the Sprint/Verizion models have different LCD-Digitizers than the GSM model. I have a GSM one that just had the LCD crack and i was looking on ebay for some replacements. Some of the cheaper posts don't have which version the part is from.
any help appreciated!

they are all fused... if your up to trying to do it anyways you are braver than I.The displays and digitizers had aught to be identical. The difference between models is the backs, and the motherboards. If you look at the physical differences, the toro/toroplus have a daugter board with a modem on it, and that accounts for the extra depth.
To me, seperating the digitizer and display would be more of a headache than buying one someone had dunked in water and just using the guts from that. Most of the cost of the phone is the display. The soc is only like $30 when buying quantities greater than 1000...

Oh im not planning on separating them. They are sold as one piece, i was looking to see if i buy a combined one if it would matter if it came from a cdma/LTE one to be placed on a gsm.
Shouldn't matter from what I know, they should all be pretty much the same

i'm in the same boat. if anyone is certain that an lcd-digitizer from an lte gnex is a perfect replacement for a gsm gnex, please do let us know.
Hi, so are they the same? I just cracked my screen and want to replace it.
Please let me know.
Much appreciated!

they are not the same. the cables are in different locations.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I wish it was otherwise! the sprint digitizer was much cheaper. Most of the sellers do not specify which version it'll work with and add to the confusion.

Not to mention they have different motherboard layouts so you will have to mod it heavily.

Hate to resurrect this old thread but can you tell me if the sprint and verizon versions are the same? My verizon has a cracked screen and the sprint replacements are DIRT CHEAP compared to the vzw versions.
Thanks!

Even though they're both CDMA / LTE? If you don't mind me asking, how do you know for sure? I was looking at photos of them on eBay and they look mighty similar but it's very hard to tell for sure.
Thank you so much for your replies.

[Q] Will a Sprint LCD/Digitizer work on a T-Mobile Galaxy S3?

Just like the title says.....I am looking at a replacement LCD for my wife's tmobile galaxy phone but I only find the Sprint one cheap. Are these interchangeable?

my cousin has the sprint one and they look 100 percent identical, form factor wise. Only question is the plug inside the device at the same spot on both devices? Try and look at a break down /disassembly of bothers variants to see what's inside

Well i'm fairly certain the LCD itself is interchangeable, the board is not. Switching the cases from a T-mobile to Sprint will not work, as the boards are constructed slightly differently on the top and bottom. the T-Mobile will not fit correctly in the back of the Sprint case, I (sadly) know from experience. :/

[Q] Can i use N7100 Screen/Digitizer for i317?

I Broke the screen on my Telus Note 2 and I'm in India currently for a couple of months. All the shops just have the N7100 Screen/Digitizer but are reluctant to try it on my i317. I was wondering if there is any difference in both.
As far as I know there is no difference. Not 100% positive though.

This is an old thread, but for anyone searching for the info, I used an n7100 assembly on my i317 and it worked perfectly for 2 years until my son recently destroyed it lol. Now I'm buying another one, and it'll be whatever is the lowest cost-wise. But yes, n7100 will work for i317 for the screen assembly.

So the housing is not different as stated above? No cosmetic defects after changing?

Stick with the exact same thing. You'll set yourself up for failure in the long run. I cannot tell you exactly but can only help guide in the right direction. Good luck!

N920I motherboard in N920A

Hello all,
My wife's Note 5 was thrown in the toilet by our daughter. It quit working so I sent it back to Samsung. They said the motherboard was water damaged and not repairable by them. My question is this, there are more international model motherboards for sale on the internet than AT&T versions. Is there a major difference in internal design that would prevent my from putting a N920I board into a N920A? Plus, I would rather have the international model anyways.

It could? Depends if it has the same screw points and fits.

How would I figure that out? I've been looking on iFixit and different tear down videos to no avail.
