[Q] How to get back to stock - HTC One X

Hi,
I tried out cyanogenmod and now I have hard time going back to stock. I don't have any backups. I've relocked the phone and installed a default recovery, but I can't find a correct way nor file to flash it to stock. I have 1.72 HBOOT, 4.18.401.4 mainver, and HTC__Y13 CID. Any help is appreciated, I have no idea what I'm doing. Thanks guys!

i think there is not RUU for 4.x main version, you just need to find a stock nandroid backup and restore it via recovery if you want complete stock, you also need to find the stock recovery and flash it after the nand restore, and last step is to relock bootloader... look around for some guides so you'll find out what you need

Upgrading Hboot problems

I can not find a the firmware for my:
HTC ONE X
RADIO - 2.1204.135.20
CID - VODAP021
HBOOT 1.12
I want to upgrade it to HBOOT 1.28 so I can install custom roms and turn S-OFF but I have looked everywhere and I can no find this firmware
Could anyone help me? I just need to find this firmware then I have everything else undercontrol.
I can't turn S-OFF because my kernel is securer but I can not find a custom rom which works on it which isn't insecure.
Please help me, I have been looking for hours on end and I can not find it :\
You can't s-off. Return the phone back to stock and update via official ota.

Need help in updating

Cause of some problems couldn't update installed ViperOne Rom 2.5.0 to newest version earlier. :crying:
But cause of many changes such as firmware, Android version and so on - have no clue for right steps. Can you provide some kind of guide for me?
My device:
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 3.16.0.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 1.16.2133156.UA10G
(bootloader) version-main:
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON
(bootloader) product: m8_ul
(bootloader) modelid: 0P6B11000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTC__044
Don't know why there's no main version in fastboot ...
But in Settings(when phone is booted) I can see: 2.22.401.5 CL365360 release-keys
Your device is s-on. You need to be s-off in order to flash firmwares.

The only way to get s-off is by using sunshine. It cost $25 though. Or you can find a sense RUU and get the right firmware you need to get viper working, and I believe its 4.16.401.10....I haven't got the slightest clue on where to get that RUU though
You don't need s-off. Go to the firmware, nandroid back-up thread in the general section. Read up in there and download the nandroid backup for your CID (HTC 044). RESTORE it and flash back the STOCK recovery and perform updates via official ota.

1.54, since its the software version what corresponds to your hboot (3.16).

Or
Relocked your bootloader - fastboot oem lock
then run RUU RUU_M8_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_WWE_4.19.707.2_R adio_1.25.21331147A1.06G_20.69.4196.01_F_release_4 14204_signed.exe
this will update your device directly to the latest lollipop version. No need to do multiple OTA

you can use a 4.1.1 or 4.2.2 backup to get back to stock as there are no ruu' for anything above 4.1.1 (i think).
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0ByUdmxgcNok5Zi1VVEpQRUpzaUE&export=download
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_LkxZ3JJgkiT2pSSGN5RHZBcUE&export=download
both of the nandroid backups above are 4.1.1 based as there are no 4.2.2 backups still up.
Either of these should work. just restore using a cwm based recovery, flash the boot.img in the zip and if you need the stock recovery, you can grab that here: http://d-h.st/qY7
