you can use a 4.1.1 or 4.2.2 backup to get back to stock as there are no ruu' for anything above 4.1.1 (i think).
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0ByUdmxgcNok5Zi1VVEpQRUpzaUE&export=download
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_LkxZ3JJgkiT2pSSGN5RHZBcUE&export=download
both of the nandroid backups above are 4.1.1 based as there are no 4.2.2 backups still up.
Either of these should work. just restore using a cwm based recovery, flash the boot.img in the zip and if you need the stock recovery, you can grab that here: http://d-h.st/qY7

Hi guys,
I got a HOX with CID VODAP102.
Using HBOOT 0.94.0000 and main version 1.28.161.9
Radio uknown ('none' says bootloader)
I want to update to JB, specifically CM10.1.
But i need to update my HBOOT, though can't seem to figure out how with my CID...
How would i go about this? The threads i found are either inconclusive or with different versions.
Oh yeah, this didn't work because of the CID thing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924003
edit; just noticed, i already did the fastboot flash boot boot.img. So now i have a boot.img with an older version of the CM software. Which appearantly does not boot.
Thanks, Ice
are you rooted and unlocked?

Rooted and unlocked. Been running CM10 for a while (beta's).
Device is still S-on though; but thats for all HOX's i think?
yeah, however to update your HBOOT you need to download the right firmware package for your CID here
Code:
# adb reboot bootloader
# fastboot oem lock
# fastboot oem rebootRUU
# fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
# fastboot reboot
now you need to unlock it again and flash a custom recovery... and that's it, flash whatever you want now
well that did it! at least; the phone boots again.
rebooted to bootloader and that now says hboot 1.36 which probably means i can update to 10.1.
just to be sure; i need to install CWM again, copy the boot.img and flash cm10.1?
ill try that tonight. just glad i can be reached again.. need the phone for work
Thanks!
edit; oh and unlock the bootloader again. Or is that not necessary since i should already have root access?

you need to unlock the bootloader again, flash again the recovery through fastboot, full-wipe, flash the new rom nd its boot.img and that's it
Hi guys,
I have a kind of same problem but bigger, it means that I don't know how to root bcuz my phone is second hand.
My software is:
Android Revolution HD 7.1.0 by mike1986
HTC Sense 4.0
Android version 4.0.4
Additional Info:
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT - 0.94.0000
RADIO - 1.1204.103.14
CID - VODAP304
Versión Firmware o Bootloader: 1.28.161.9
Could someone tell me how I should do to get HTC Sense 5? I'd prefer the original firmware, but I don't mind having a root one neither.
Thanks

you have a custom rom so you are already rooted. follow the instructions in post 4 above or go to this thread>>>>>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140 and go back to stock and your phone will update to the latest version

Thanks nogotaclue,
I will opt for go back to stock. Just I have two questions.
1. Which recovery.img should I choose? 1.26-1.29?
2. What do I have to be on mind to choose the Nandroid Stock? I have found these three on another website, and I don't know if there is any difference, basically the features in bold are what I don't understand!
- Nandroid Rom Vodafone España VODAP304
- Nandroid Rom Vodafone España 1.29 VODAP304
- Nandroid Rom Vodafone España VODAP304 [version firmware 2.17, banda base 2.1204, hboot 1.12 ROOT]
Thanks

dont use any of those, you're best option is to go completely stock by using an ruu from the link I will post at the end for you. when you go to the page the ruu that you want is the 7th from the bottom, it will be version 1.28.161.9 and should be 609MB. start downloading it then there are some other things that you need to do in the meantime>>>>>http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Endeavor make sure it matches exactly the version I have stated

if using nandroid backup relock is not necessary will also work with unlocked bootloader tried many times its working..
he just have to be sure to use stock boot.img and stock recovery from nandroid or the mainversion

Hi
In past I updated my one x from nandroid backup 3.14.111.27 to 4.2.2. Now I restore to nandroid but touch screen disabled.
note: I can install viperx rom in base of 4.1.1 .it works clean.
note: hboot changes from 1.39 to 1.72
unlocked bootloader
s-on
cid: t-mob101
mid: pj4610000
I can't find 4.1.1 or 4.2.2 RUU or nandroid for hboot 1.72 and no way to downgrade hboot to 1.39
Is any solution?

You can't downgrade your hboot if you are not S-OFF. You are not!
Tuch not working on older stock then like 3.14 and older on 3.18 and 3.20 I think is working.
Take newer nandroid

Hi Guys,
im on ViperRom 2.5 and want to install LeeDroid Lollipop Rom and for that i need to update to latest HTC WWE 4.16.401.10 firmware.
Can i just flash the Ruu or do i have to change my CID?
I can't read out my main-version, cause of a TWRP bug, i think?
Can anyone tell me what i should do? Thanks!
You need s-off and the correct cid (and mid) then you can flash a wwe ruu.
Or bring the phone back to stock and do the ota to lollipop if it's out/when it gets out and then install the custom rom

yes the 2.22.401 is the build of the viper rom. Check the general section, there is a great thread stickied by @exocetdj they are hosting many nandroid backups and a tutorial on how to get back to stock
I know this thread, but how do i know which nandroid backup i need? i can't read my main-version so i don't know which backup i need

You check the list with backups and check the cids. When the cid matches yours you have your main version. Then check your hboot number. The lower the hboot number the lower the main version is.
Example
3.16 = 1.12 and 1.54
3.18 = 2.22 and higher
3.19 = 3.xx and higher
