For someone in the United States trying to get the HSPA version of the Galaxy Nexus, where would be it be the cheapest to buy from (after tax, shipping, VAT, etc)?
I've been trying to get my hands on the GNexus, but paying 750+ USD just doesn't seem worth it (even if it won't come out in the US for a month or two if at all). Can we compile a list to compare the prices of all the retailers (online preferably) that are selling the phone?

That's still a bit pricey... about one hundred more than what I am willing to pay (I got both the Nexus One and Nexus S for <$600). Is that the cheapest price anywhere?
Does it come with a warranty or insurance?

This costs more than the Nexus One or Nexus S. You won't find it for cheaper for a while.

Unless they start selling them in the US directly at retailers, you won't find one for under $600 any time soon. Right now Handtec is the cheapest at just under $700 as others have said. When calculating your price keep in mind that some credit card companies charge a foreign transaction fee of around 2%-3%.

ok, got it... £450 is a pretty reasonable price to me, since i'm gonna be in the usa next week i'm thinking to buy it, so i'm wondering if i'll need to pay any import duty...
Youre also paying the premium of it being imported and the satisfaction of having it early. Its not a high rollers club thing. Its just reality at the moment. The more my atrix rebooted the more i want to throw this phone out the window even though its a nice and capable phone. My nexus hopefully will be here by friday. Oh yes it will be mine.

No. Probably still looking at $700usd with all the fees, shipping and taxes. Some of us thought about that but the savings are marginal.

Here is how to get the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for up to as little as $465 in the US:
1. Sign-up for MrRebates.com to get 2% cash back from Expansys-USA.
2. The phone on Expansys USA is $750, but you can use the discount code 20OFFLS to knock the price to $730. (It has to be a US seller in order for you to be able to use step 3.)
2. Since you use MrRebates.com, you get 2% cash back, which brings the effetive price down $715.
3. You can use the Price Protection feature of your credit card to get price drops of up to $250 reimbursed, but only if the transaction was in US Dollars. So if, within 60 days, you see the phone advertised in the US for less than $730, the credit card will give you the difference.
4. This might reduce your total damage to $465.
We may not see a full $250, but I venture to say that a $100 price drop is virtually guaranteed.

Interesting about the price protection... i never knew that. I did some quick googles on it, and it seems most credit cards don't have it anymore, or the restrictions make it useless.

Your "total damage" will only be as low as the cheaper one you could get in the US. And since the phone will never be sold for $465 unlocked in the US, you'll never get a full $250 back. Like you said, a more reasonable price we'll see for the US unlocked version is about $600.

ebates.com has 6% cash back from expansys-usa again today so i ordered mine for $750 - $20 coupon - 6% ebates cash back - 1% credit card cash back = $678.9 in the end (hopefully). oh and if you're a new ebates.com user you get a $5 cash back bonus.

Is it possible? i have a friend that should be int the sates on October and i want him to buy it from the AT&T store, but can he buy it without any contract or a sim card?
if not is there any other way? i don't want to buy it directly and ship it to my country cos the taxes here will make the purchase unjustified (will add more the 125$ not including the shipment).
Yes, you can buy any phone that AT&T sales in stores without a contact.....except the iPhone. Currently the off contract of the Captivate Glide is $500 though from AT&T

I bought mine from Amazon Wireless, as phone only (phone upgrade), $ 399, and then unlock with an on-line service ($ 25).
the problem wit amazonwireless for me is that i need to have a US adress, there is a service for that but the charge an arm and a leg.
plus the taxes to import the phone makes it unwise to buy it online. i need to cheack with the customs again, maybe (if buddha will premit) there wont be import taxes on this phone (VAT will probley will be but its low amount).
I live in Europe and went to US in March and a tried to buy this phone in a AT&T Store and it was not possible. Even to buy the phone without contract they require a contract plan. I did buy the phone thru ebay later. I would suggest you the same if you have access to US address.

I bought mine on ebay (is quite cheaper than amazonwireless), altough shipping to Germany took a while the purchase was flawless.

The phone itself has cost $389,99 and international USPS Express shipping was $44,99. This was quite cheap compared to the $600 (+ shipping) on Amazonwireless back then.
Btw. If any German is interested in the taxes I had to pay: It was about 63€ (~19%)
now days the glide cost 400 dollors via amazonwireless and the shiping in the staes is free.
i think i got lucky cos i have a friend that is gona visit is family in the states sooner then expected and he agreed that i will ship this to his family house, and he will bring it to me when he come back. so i can get away from shiping and taxes via customes.
yeah ebay its the only place to buy a phone anymore, altho some pawnshops will cut good deals. seems 300 for a new or refurbished phone on ebay is the going rate & most folks dont mind shipping outa country.

I bought from Amazon Wireless, which is Amazon direct. They will sell you a locked phone without contract.
When I bought it, it used to be wrongly labled as "unlocked" I contacted them and they offered a full refund. Since I'm in the UAE I didn't want that, just an unlock code, to which they said they can't help me with that. So I ended up unlocking from AmericanUnlocker.
I prefer to buy direct, in this case it would be Amazon Wireless, that'll help with returns.

Unfortunately part of the deal ends today.
This is what I did:
I paid full price for the phone because I am a current customer; $598.80 plus tax.
My total payment in the store was $589.73 after tax because I traded my Nexus 4 for $48.
Next step; called customer service so I could get a credit in to my account of $60, which is the online discount that T-Mobile is offering right now. Tough work but it tuned out fine.
Submitted my claim for the promotional offer in the LG official website where they are giving an $100 Visa prepaid card. Promotion ends today 12/14/2014.
Find out that AT&T was offering $55 for my Nexus 4 trade. Just because of that I will be getting another $50 credited in to my account. T-Mobile courtesy.

You can submit your claim for the $100 prepaid card up to “no later than midnight PST on 1/16/15”. So technically you have until then, because you can always play with the scanner and change dates on the bill.

It should work. It worked for me when they had the wall charger and extra battery promotion with an LG G3 that was purchased on a different date period.

So you got no paper bill? Then I guess you will have to use photoshop lol. If you are legit with your date of purchase should not be any problem with the screenshot.
By the way; $13.49! Best deal ever to purchase an original battery. Just got mine today. Was more expensive for a long time. This batteries are original and new but with minor cosmetic damage from factory. Mine came with a very little scratch and a very minimal indentation. From amazon warehouse. Read the reviews!

Haha, me too. I purchased my G3 two days past the battery promotion. Changed the date that time on my receipt to two days prior and 5 weeks later I got my extra battery and charger. :good:
Turns out that I got the phone for $17 cheaper than title said. T-Mobile pays you $50 + the difference on the trade price of the competitor. Good to know!

Here is what you do
1) Look at the document from RadioShack (google: radioshack closing stores pdf)
2) Use search on your PC/Mobile find"nearest one" I searched for Brooklyn.
3) go to radioshack.com type your zip-code check that store if it shows: Availiable
4) RUN THERE! lol

I went to a Radioshack in Roxboro, NC that is closing soon and saw they have about 4 moto 360s for $100 a pop. I bought 2. Went to 3 Radioshacks in Durham, NC and two weren't closing just yet, the 3rd was but unfortunately pretty much only had cables and other crap left. I doubt anyone who got it for 100$ would even sell you for the same price,when they can put it on ebay for 200$.
I suggest you look at the list of all closing stores and drive to few that you feel are close to you.

I doubt it. The whole point of these steep discounts is to clear inventory for that particular store. So there would be no point to ship it to a store where they're trying to clear all the existing stock.
Nothing available in the Seattle area, it looks like.
Not just for the watch
The ones closing in my area were knocking prices off everything 80% I dropped like 3k on all kinds off and have made my money back on selling it and am keeping the things I want. I got a note 4 edge store demo in mint condition for 130 bucks lol and I sold it for 500 because I like my mate 7 better and they even sim unlocked it for me.
