The lg g watch is £10 cheaper on Amazon than on google play plus its free shipping.
If you are on the fence about buying one this discount might just swing your decision.
Here's a link to the watch. http://amzn.to/1pWDHbf

Hi, I just found LG Optimus G Pro on ebay for 500$ , shipped from UK? You think this is genuine and legit version with warranty?
lol
Im not able to send links yet. just look on ebay for : G Optimus G Pro - 32GB - White Black (Factory Unlocked) Smartphone Brand New
thanks
$500 is awfully cheap. If it's a trusted seller it might be ok.

It's this listing:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/LG-Optimus-G...=Cell_Phones&hash=item1c32e076c2#ht_967wt_963
I'm tempted to buy two, one for myself and one for my brother... but I'm also wary..
I asked the seller why so cheap, this was his response:
Quick info about my items: - 100% factory unlocked, 100% genuine LG Optimus G Pro in original sealed boxes. I have both colors: White and Black. - I have E985, E980, L-04E and F240 versions. You can use them with any sim card. - I have them in stock because the phones are bought directly from factory and also this is the reason why the prices are low. They all have 1 year international warranty. - I can send them with DHL, FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail or your preferred shipping company. The items are sent from my warehouse in Glasgow. - Free Customs. That is right... Free Customs. Not because your customs doesn`t charge ... it`s because i send in such way that you will not pay customs. - As you can see in my description: Pickup is not available at this time as i do not hold stock on hand for security and reliability reasons.
So yeah...I guess he/she is legit, also has 100% rating and seems newish, but has about 457 ratings.
International shipping with no customs doesn't sound legit to me...
I wasn't aware of an E985 version. What carrier could that be from? Also, there's a minimum order of 2 items.
E985 is for India, I think
does anyone know which version would be suitable for europe - UK? - E985?
I wouldn't even THINK of buying a phone on eBay unless the seller had feedback in the thousands with a feedback score of at least 99.8%. Just too risky otherwise.

Well looks like it might have been a scam?
The posting has been taken down:

i wouldnt trust anything coming from england through ebay.. too risky and too many scams from there. trust transactions from america..
the ebay ad sounds too good to be true.. dont trust it. youll be sorry. sounds like a clone. my friend bought an lg optimus g pro on ebay.. turned out it was a clone.
Hey guys, anyone know an online shop, that also ship internationally? I seen on MOBILEFUN, any others?

Only place I've seen selling them is here and saves you $5 too though it might only be on the CDN side.

Any place that ships internationally ?
Any news?
mobilefun sell these in the UK.
Works out cheaper than buying from Google Play too. £35 plus £1.99 postage. You can also use Quidco to get 8% cashback and there are voucher codes available online to give another £5 discount. They have them in stock today - just ordered one.
OP,
Are you trying to get it cheaper, or just find somewhere to buy it in location?

My problem with play store is, that they not ship internationally, so I need to use another shipping company, to reship from USA, and it's not cheap. Anyway, any news guys?
Guys? is it so hard to find it?
hey guys ive been looking for a new phone and this one seems to tick all the boxes but while looking for info on it ive found that there are a few different versions like f240 and l-04e and e980 and e986 and a few more lol, but im the sunny uk so im not sure if it will make a difference which one i buy? also does anyone have any suggestion where the best place to buy one of these phones from?

I did a lot of research before buying my OGP, as well. Swell device and I am more than satisfied with it. We have a small development community, but just enough to give you a taste of just about everything.
Go for one of the E98X ones. The F variants seem to have an even smaller development community here on XDA. You'd have to rely on Chinese and Vietnamese sites which are dominantly stock-based ROMs.
Not sure where you'd get one as I got mine through AT&T.

Thanks for the advice mate does make much difference which one of the E98X ones I get?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I don't really think so. Most ROMs say E980 (AT&T variant) but works on all E98X models (I think).

has anyone got any ideas where the best place to buy one of these phones is? ive seen a place called simply electronics but im too sure if its a decent place or not
I just bought a near mint e980 on ebay for $270 USD. Even with shipping I doubt you can do better. Seller is wirelesshut2010.

I'm also in the UK and I brought mine of ebay but now it is broken and the seller doesn't care. I would be very careful as the phone will obviously be an import so the warranty will not work in the UK. LG UK will not fix your phone, even if you pay for it. Many online shops, such as simply electronics, may take a long time to ship to you as they may have to get the device delivered from hong kong etc. Also, most of these online shops have none existent customer services and they won't reply if you have a problem. From looking at google shopping, there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the UK who will help you if your phone breaks. However, if you do buy from shops such as simply electronics and value basket, you should eventually receive the product.
Why don't you get the LG G2? It is only £320 on Amazon UK.

All this said, I think swappa.com may be the best place to buy a US model in the UK (if one ever comes up). Swappa is an XDA offshoot and they have a very good system for matching buyers with sellers at fair prices. I just sold a phone there for a little less than I paid for it to someone who didn't seem to know much about what he was buying but it all worked out fine. They do not charge sellers. Buyers pay a flat $10USD. Another advantage is the built in protections of PayPal. I would not hesitate to buy from Swappa, although their prices tend to be somewhat higher than ebay's due to the buyer fee and shipping included in the asking price.
A few (not most) US sellers will ship internationally.
Here's one: LG Optimus G Pro (Unlocked) For Sale - JCP297 - $400 > Swappa - http://is.gd/tLP8aL
F240s,said to be mint. With international shipping will probably cost more. Keep in mind that a locked AT&T e980 is now $370 direct from the carrier. Of course given UK prices this might still be less expensive than ordering locally.

The problem with paying with paypal is that in the uk, if the worst happens, you can get your credit card company (not debit card) to give you the money back, but you are paying paypal, not the seller directly, so you can have problems with getting your money back, especially if the seller is an individual, not a business.
I've missed out on offer as can't go paying out extra £25 on a phone and contract. But noticed last night TALK TALK are offering LG G3 plus the LG G watch free from £25 a month which is pretty cheap the contract with it is pretty rubbish but just thought I'd put it out there for people interested.
I just noticed the G watch is only £149 on amazon, that's £10 pounds cheaper than google plus you get free shipping.
That's not a bad deal.

Aint that the truth.
Google: your usb port is finicky and doesn't charge all the time? Let me just send you a new phone altogether.
LG: please visit an lg qualified repair facility on the other side of town between the time you work and they will help you out.
