Hi,
where can i found all Bootloaders/Kernaels/Modems list with Date for I747 & I747M?!
And which Ver. is compatible to 4.1.1/4.1.2/4.3+ so i won't brick it.
If i upgrate from 4.1.1 on I747 (I747UCDLK3) to other custom roms 4.3+
I have to flash new Bootloader & Kernael & Modem if i come from 4.1.1 ?!
what if i want to downgrade back to Stock 4.1.1 the Latest firmware from Samsung (no 4.1.2 on sammobile ,can i upgreat to 4.1.2 ?)
what I don't have to flash if i want to go back to 4.1.1 ?
as far as i know if i flash I747UCUEMJB bootloader i can't go back to 4.1.1/4.1.2 it will 100% chance you will brick your device.
about Modems: i know about S3 I9300 if a upgrate to new modems that for 4.3+
i can't go back becasue it will wipe my EFS/IMEI,
is that ture if i flash the new modem I747UCUEMJB it will work with 4.1.1?

thank you, but as you can see i update the post when that i found a part of the list..
the Kernels only for 4.3 i looking list for all Kernels from 4.1.1 - 4.3+
what I don't have to flash if i want to go back to 4.1.1 Bootloader/Kernael/Modem ?
My main concern what will brick my device if i try downgrade?!
Bootloader :4.3+ bootloader - YES!
I747UCUEMJB - Oct 11, 2013 + I747MVLUEMK5 - Nov 5, 2013
Do not attempt to downgrade from this bootloader. Doing so will brick your device.
Modems: ?
i know about S3 I9300 if a upgrate to new modems that for 4.3+
i can't go back becasue it will wipe my EFS/IMEI even brick ,is that ture if i flash the new modems for 4.3+
like I747UCUEMJB can i go back to 4.1.1 and flash old modem?
Kernaels ?: ?
Anyone have list of all 4.1.1-4.4.4 Kernaels?
Q:
Only the Latest Bootloader & Modem & Kernael will work on 4.3-4.4.4 (Stock base & CM 11) ?
First stay away from everythingfor the i9300!
Second, this is the 3rd time ive seen you post this. Please only post your question only once. There is just no need to have the same thing over and over again.
More posts/threads will not get you any better or faster answers. If anything it wil accomplish the exact opposite.

That's really not needed, but you still need to update your firmware/bootloader before installing a 4.2.2 AOSP ROM. If you read the CM10.1 thread, it was discovered that older (ICS) bootloaders do not play nice with JB 4.2 AOSP and will cause random reboots. CM10.1 (don't know about others) also won't install unless you're on a compatible bootloader.
To get the latest bootloader/firmware, you need to:
a) Odin to the latest AT&T JellyBean package
or
b) Download the I747 firmware package from here http://invisiblek.org/sgh-i747/ and flash it in recovery.
lol which part was uneeded thanks that is the EXACT answer i was looking for. i did find the smaller bootloader update package so i didnt have to install the full firmware..............and now i realize thats exactly what you linked to as well LMFAO sorry but thanks!!
I had recently obtained a s3 its a T-mobile, its running 4.1.2, with the T999UVDMD5 baseband. I rooted it, flashed xposed(haha the only thing XD). Well, reading about/friends have said there was trouble with the 4.3 update so I decided to stay on 4.1.2.
However, now I've decided to flash a custom rom, and I have noticed the different labels(D2lte, D2tmo, D2usa) and I had read from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1736477 "As of right now, the roms for your S3 are not meant to be used on other S3 variants" .
I have a few questions:
1.There was a baseband update, should I update it? If so, how exactly?
2.Would it be wise to flash a D2lte on This T-mobile device? I was looking at Resurrectionhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692481(originally waiting on cm11 but.. Yeah lol)
3.Looking at KitKat rooms, which ones could I flash?
4.Would it be safe, if I did flash a 4.4.2 to restore a nandroid backup of my fresh rooted stock 4.1.2.
5.Lastly, what kernel would you say use?(Sorry to ask, curiosity as to which i could flash)
I appreciate taking your time to answer my questions and have a good day!
1) custom recovery.. There are zips available to flash
2) d2lte covers all d2 devices so its safe
3)Any on the development threads
4) Yes
5) like on 3, you can flash any kernel in the development threads, experiment and see which one works the best for you!

To answer your questions:
1. You do not need to update your firmware - I'm still on MD5. Modems, however, can be flashed separately from firmware.
2. You can flash d2lte ROMs on this phone as it's all one unified build for US SGS3 variants. (I.e. T-Mobile/AT&T/Sprint/Verizon SGS3 is now all built under d2lte).
3. As far as which KK ROM to flash...just try them all out and see which ones you like the best. Each ROM has different features - see which one is right for you.
4. If you don't update your firmware, then yes. (FYI, flashing a custom KK ROM does not update your firmware. However, if you flash one of the 4.3 root66 files that has firmware included, then it will update your firmware).
5. Again, try it out. It's hard to say which ROM/kernel combination will work best. I suggest you read the forums to see what people think of them.
Hope that helps.

No problem, and i forgot to say but the only time you might need to update modem is if you flash a 4.3 touchwiz ROM, other than that its not really needed unless you want to experiment and see if one gives you better results

Oh, and one more thing: DO NOT flash a ROM that is for the international version of the SGS3 (i9300). It will, most definitely, brick your phone.
Don't know if you knew that or not...just wanted to make sure.
Q&A for S3Rx 3.0 TouchWiz 4.3 NC2 (4-5-14) Full AROMA

S3Rx ROM on T999LUVUBNF4
Good day.
I have recently update my Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-T999L using kies.
Baseband version: T999LUVUBNF4
I wanted to install your ROM to my device but it says that the latest supported version is at T999UVUENC2. Is it possible to install it on UVUBNF4? Or if not, is it possible to revert back to NC2?
Your reply would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Best TMO S3 rom
I have to say ... this is the best TMO S3 rom without a doubt .. I've tried many KK, Lollipop , Cyaogenmod etc but not oTne comes close to the stability and battery life..
Thank you
Soft bricked my device
So I followed your instructions to the best of my ability.
1. Make sure you are on your most current modem... T999 = MJC || T999L = MK4 DocHoliday77 modem thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1880987
(My rom is the latest which is UVUENC2)
2. Full Wipe
(Did that)
3. Install ROM.
(Did that) - then afterwards it prompted me to a white page install/menu section. Since I already installed the ROM through CWM I proceeded to select "Install Kernel Only" which is apparently step #4.
4.Make sure you choose KT747, DKP or MJ2 kernel during install.
(I chose DKP to install)
5. Profit... enjoy!
(I did not enjoy since my phone never booted, it was stuck on S3 logo, had to go back into recovery!)
Soooo what did I do wrong??
I love how xda encourages new users to ask questions in the Q&A tab and even suggest that their questions are more likely to be answered that way.
Few months later, still no answer on my Q above. Btw the way roms are organized on these forums are horrible. Please fix.
I wonder if anyone knows the answer to musnyk and lazy monster Q....I would like to know also....thanks?
If I could add on to the other questions posted. I have T999L with NF4. When I install this rom, end up with Baseband of NF4, Build of NC2 and seem to lose LTE capability. Would love to get the proper steps when dealing with an NF4 phone.
EDIT: Seems to be missing: persist.radio.lteon - do you know how I can add/create this?
To update the bootloader modem
The baseband version I currently have is T999UVUEMJC
I got the new NC2 bootloader modem package downloaded.

Error when flashing!!!! Help !!!!!!!
ok i have the 4.3 stock from tmobile i used a couple of cwn version but none of them are letting me flash it i keep getting an error that says (bad) Operation aboarded and it has the little android in a coma with no new room, i rooted the phone but still no luck any advice????
I am aware of the threads pertaining to similar questions like mine but I am uncertain of their similarities and most don't provide relevant information that will help me. Here are the current software details for my rooted phone.
Carrier - AT&T
Android Version - 4.4.4
Baseband Version - I747UCUEMJB
Model Number - Samsung-SGH-I747
ROM - Carbon
Carbon Version - Carbon-Quantum-7/25
Recovery - ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.3
I am planning on getting a new phone within the coming days, most likely a Note 4, I plan on selling this phone and would like it to be stock Touchwiz. I don't remember the Android version I was on when I bought it in Dec 2012 but I'd like it to be exactly like it was then, I'd update it to the latest one on my own, or if that isn't practical then I'd go with the latest "stock" option available to my specifications.
I am currently looking at these two threads but I am unsure if which is the one for me?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658486
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968625
Please help me. I'd like to go as "stock" as I can. Thanks!
The first method would be your best bet. Your phone has the mjb bootloader; therefore, none of the stock AT&T firmware from sammobile.com can be flashed to your phone.
You should flash back to stock and run OTA to get the latest KK ROM on your phone.
Hi guys, I have T999 I am on Likewise 4.1 dtmo and currently on the T999UVUENC2 modem/bootloader, which is version 4.3. I have not updated my phone in a while and now I'm searching the forums and have 2 questions:
1. Should I update my bootloader/modem to T999UVUEOH1? I have read that it fixed the stagefright bug. (I found it on sammobile)
2. Some ROMs in the ATT section, such as the S3 R3ARMED, which is also made for T999, call for the use of a 4.4 modem and bootloader, but there is no such thing available to us. How can I proceed to avoid a brick?
Thanks!
I just updated it and there is nothing new. Just keep calm and stay at NC2, i will test it's performance and battery life

Why don't you download the stock rom from SamMobile?
Btw, this stock rom is WAYYYYY better than NC2. Better performance and very good battery life
