How can I lock my note 2 n7100 just use h+ and not any other network I am not rooted and I tried some dial codes which non of them worked .
Look at attached images go to settings>> connections >> more networks >> mobile networks >> network selection >>> WCDMA , once you choose WCDMA wherever 3G is available it will be locked to it you won't get 2G/Edge speeds if 3G ain't available in the area it would just disconnect

Thanks but the the wcdma is the rang of 3g h and h+ I want it to just stick to h+ and dont change it to anything else.

My internet, at random times, gets stuck with the data sending arrow lit. It then stays there even when internet is deactivated (screenshot). Does anybody know if i can do something about it?

You could try looking up your carriers APN info and re-inputting it to your phone under settings/wireless&data networks/ Mobie Networks, you should then either see your APN settings or you might need to press menu, then APN settings. Cant remembr off hand mine is different then yours as mine is CDMA jus going off of memory..... please reply if this works or not

Connected to my wifi at work, and I got a picture message from my daughter... then the 3g and wifi were on at the same time.

The pxt message comes through 3G that's why both your wifi and 3g are on at the same time.

3g is always running in the background when wifi is on but it will only notify you that its being used when you need that particular service. From what I understand voice calls are also placed through the 3g service but defaults to 2g when there strength of your 3g is not good enough.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

^ That's my understanding if it as well.
Not all carriers will make the phone show data activity indicator when receiving mms, but I think it's very common.

I recently bought 2 unlocked Z1 Compacts and no matter what APN settings I try I just can't get them to connect to T-mobile's LTE network. I am in NYC so the network is there and the phones can find and identify the network, they just can't connect. When I manually select T-mobile LTE it gives me a "Could not select network. Make Sure the SIM card is inserted or the selected network is available." I even tried out new SIM cards to see if my old SIMs were the problem. Anyone have an ideas or suggestions? Could this be something on T-mobiles end? Thanks for any help.

Is it possible that having wi-fi on while trying to connect to lte is causing the problems?
Doubt this will help but...
With WIFI off, and your correctly-entered APN activated, go to Settings, More, Mobile Networks, and see if the Network Mode is set to LTE preferred.
Or.. Dial *#*#4636#*#* , then go to Phone Info, then scroll downward to the drop-down. Try LTE/GSM auto (PRL)? That's the one I have it on (although it was automatically set)
I double checked and all of those settings seem properly set. I have been playing around with the LTE Discovery program to see if my phone could even find the LTE signal and it doesn't seem to even seen to pick up any signal even when T-mobile LTE is listed amongst the service providers. in the settings.

You will need to contact your service provider (network) for their APN information.
There is a possibility that the sprint version may not support all the bands required for your network as well, for instance if the phone only supports bands 1,3,6,9, and your provider only broadcasts on 1,2,5,8 your phone will only be able to pick up service from band 1.
What network provider are you running?
I know about the apn information but the problem is the phone doesnt show any apn settings in it where i can create a new apn of my network. It's Telenor.
Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
You should have the ability to add new APN's through this menu
Looks like you didnt see the picture in my first post. The ACCESS POINT NAMES option is unavailable.
Picture isn't showing for me, only a broken link icon.
Is the phone running a stock, unrooted rom?

It's so amazing that the Realme devs actually enabled and unlocked 4G+/LTE-A Carrier Aggregation on Realme X2 after the update for Realme UI,
I've looked everywhere and I saw that X2 does support 4G+ but unlike the X2 pro it's not unlocked from the manufacturer
anyway now my problem is the phone sometimes switches between 4G+ to 4G and even 3G consistently I'm asking if there is anyway to lock the network type to 4G because there is only one option to lock it to 2G and 3G/4G is preferred based on the signal strength and that's sometimes not true because I have full signal (RSSI -51) with my 4G modem in my room,
I have tried the force LTE app but its not working for the 4G and the signal just disappear
any suggestions or workaround would be appreciated.

download Activities / Hidden Settings & goto Radio Info under settings you can lock to 4G only mode
