Okay, so,
my Xperia M kinda got bricked. I'm trying to troubleshoot it, but with no success.
it has been charging for a couple of hours, and the battery is full.
I've been experiencing random reboots yesterday, and they were weird.
Sometimes it even rebooted while the Sony logo was on the screen.
Tried flashing it with flashtool after 20 mins of trying to get it to work.

The red LED blinked when I tried turning it on, it can't be because of the low charge, maybe just the battery broke?
Wat do?
Any help would be appreciated!
UPDATE: Offline charging doesn't go past the charging image, it reboots immediately, and it can't even access flashmode.

Hi, i can't seem to find someone with a xperia ZL with the same problem.. All i can see in the web are for xz.
When i was using my phone, (80% battery), i took some pictures then it suddenly turned off. Now, i tried turning it on but nothing happens, no led blink no nothing.
I tried charging it and voila, the red notification light of death appeared. Mind you that I am using a newly installed OEM Sony Battery (used already for a month) on my phone as the previous one also died.
I was searching and all they say is that charge the phone then reset it.. tried that also, charged it all day then tried resetting, still no action.
Tried SUS, can't connect to phone, tried flashtool, also same thing.
Please help!

Hi
Its looking like hardware problem. If your phone is under warranty, please contact Xperia customer service and get your phone replaced
good luck
Open the sim door. You will see there a small yellow OFF button. Long press it and at the same time hold Power+Volume Up. The phone will vibrate 3 times.
So the combo is: OFF button+Power+Volume UP.
same problem
Battery prob, it happen to me twice and need battery replacement
Sent from my Xperia ZL using XDA Free mobile app

I think if u never touch system like root or costum mod / kernel its Hardware problem the battery is died / Ic Power
But if you get root or flash another kernel without support the firmware maybe its Hard brick . Only shown RED LED when you plugged in charger. the solution is Need 30 minutes to charger it and you get the Green LED , so you can Flash Manually again using flashtool and STOCK FTF .283 [4.4.4]
I charged my phone 2 hours ago through magnetic port when the battery reach 20%. When I unplugged it, instead of show lock screen, I noticed that the phone is already turned off. This never happen before... so I turn it on again and this happen...
The phone boot normally (sony logo, xperia, then splash screen several times) but when lock screen show up, suddenly appear phone shutting down window and it just shutdown.. Not give me a chance to cancel the process...
See the video in attachment.
My phone is still using stock jelly bean, no root, no custom launcher installed.
I didn't feel any overheating issues here.
Any advice?
UPDATE:
Successfully update to 14.4.A.0.108 through PC companion... didn't resolve the issue, even the phone shutdown in the middle of boot screen. Also the phone cannot charge, battery still around 40%.. Oh well..... what happened??
So my sister gave me her s3. It wont turn on and actually boot. Sometimes it will show the s3 logo and sometimes the Samsung logo. I tried booting into recovery. It will show the booting recovery in the top left but then it will shut off. I took the battery put and plugged it in to the charger, the light will turn red, it will vibrate and try to turn on but the light will disappear. I've tried another battery but the phone doesn't want to boot fully. The charger port is kinda loose and it's about 6 months old. Any help would be appreciated. Kinda know what I'm doing with phones and tried everything I could think of to get it to work -.-
Hello All,
I had about 40% battery yesterday evening and in the morning I found phone turned off.
Tried to turn on - no luck.
Plug to the wall charger - a red light appeared and started blinking in a loop (3s red, 1s pause, 3s red etc.)
Tried with different charger - same as above.
Conected to laptop through USB - red light as normally when charging but no battery icon and scrren still black. Tried to turn on and blinking come back.
I left on charging for a while and tried hard reset (power button + volume up) - nothing.
Tried also a magic reset buttonnear the SIM card slot it vibrates 3 times but it didn't turn on
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Try to charge your phone using the wall charger for at least one full day. If that still doesn't work, try getting into fastboot mode(Vol up while inserting USB into PC), and check if you get a fastboot device. If so, try reflashing the stock via flashmode. If not, I think your battery is dead.
(I had an issue like that on my N4 once, but never on my X1C.)
Hello Jayc94,
If Max1220 tips doesn't work, just use the warranty.
I had the same issue as you, and i sent it back 3 times, using the warranty. As far as i remember, you don't have to pay anything.
My advice, when you get it back from the repair shop, in the package, you have an intervention report. Check exactly what they did. Follow their procedure to reboot your phone, and see what happens few days after.
For me, one week after they sent me back the phone, the same issue was happening again, until the 3rd time. At that time, intervention reports shows they changed battery and antenna, with some other stuff. Until now, i don't have any issue again..
I wih you good luck.

Fellow XDA Members,
Two days back I was playing music on my OP3 and it froze. So, I long pressed the power button in an attempt to restart it. But, to my amazement, it just stuck on the Oneplus boot screen. It didn't even charge for hours, and after 6-7 hours when I plugged it in it had the Battery too low issue. Anyway, I used MSM tools and flashed the files. Now, the phone sometimes takes me to the welcome screen, stays there for like 3 seconds and then reboots. Other times it just boots with a dark screen and white LED light on (no blink). Booting into recovery also gives me a dark screen with white LED.*
I'm unable to do anything in fastboot mode, all commands 'fail'.
Any help will be deeply appreciated,
op 3
