Hello guys, so I have a question. So you know right, in Gingerbread, there was this function where when I plug in my earphones, the media volume will change to the volume which I used last time when I was when i used my earphones. I think it is a samsung thing.
But since I changed to ics, i have lost this function, so now I have to change the media volume myself when i plug in my earphone, which is a hassle, at least for me.
Therefore, I am looking for an app which has this function. Please do post something which helps and not something like 'Go google for it or search it on xda'. I would honestly appreciate if you link me to the app instead, thank you very much

I am using CM10. My phone's speaker is always at it's loudest. But every time I plug my earphone in, the volume would went back the volume I used last time. So I think the function is still there.

Yea i know, i like JB features too but I didn't get very good battery life on it and not all apps are working properly with JB, furthermore arco's 3.0 kernel is not fully functional with camera (i know i can use 2.6 but i would rather wait for 3.0).

Try beats and xlouder.. Or some other sort of audio boosting software.

I tried multiple app but the only thing that really works for me was to install a custom rom.
I'm using Rubik rom and using DSP Manager I can control the volume and boost it properly.
Try beanstalk ROM with xlouder works very well

The volume of this room is pretty low. I'm sure it's not the phone as in other roms the volume is much louder. I can barely hear YouTube in a public setting. Lol. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I believe you can flash the NEAK kernel, then install the uNEAK app from the Market and adjust the volume. Did this last night on PAC-Man rom and volume is nice and loud now
Got it from here:

I also use the Neak Kernel with Beanstalk and use the uNeak app from the Playstore. You can adjust the mic, headphones and speaker volumes. If it's compatible with your Rom, might want to give it a try.

Ok you may have just installed the wrong one. Delete the one you have installed first. Then reboot and reinstall the new one!
Here's the one I used:
http://db.tt/XTj0YXNH
And you only need one installed!
As far as the other sound file's, I highlighted which one I downloaded from the viper page.
You just have to use a file explorer to move the files to the correct folder!
Once your done, start a song then open viper audio mod. And change your setting! From there...
FYI:
Keep in mind that if you have a Bluetooth earpiece connected. And then if you connect into the headphone jack. It'll default to the Bluetooth sound for you headphone jack. Until you disconnect the Bluetooth. Then it'll default to the headset setting in VIPER..

Here try this one it's the apk only:

But you can use the first one I gave you also. I think I use the file on the right of that zip.
The apk I used was like 1.28mb..
Cpu setting..
After install, open, then install driver. It's the last one on the list A9/15..

Then something is wrong. Did you perform a reboot after you installed the driver?
Because all mine work. Headset, speaker, Bluetooth, they all change the sound. If you have some head phones use those to set it up.
What steps do you do. Do you know what to turn on and what not to? All the info is on the viper page!!
Check post#2 the sound setting are there...
