Is there any way to disable the dismissing of an event from launching the calendar? It seems like it doesn't happen 100% of the time, so maybe I am swiping to dismiss it in an odd way. But most of the time when I open my cover and there is the red 'X' to dismiss the event or snooze and I dismiss, it unlocks and launches the calendar. It's kind of annoying.
Does anyone else even see this? It is still bothering me. Sometimes it dismisses the event without launching the calendar but most times it is launched. I have tried swiping the 'X' different ways and it doesn't seem to change anything.
Just tapping the X should work. Which ROM, or are you stock? I haven't seen this issue, after having used a couple different Sense ROMs.

Every so often when I swipe at the top of the screen I cause the calendar to pull down but I am not sure what the exact motion is. I would like to be able to do this on demand. Does anyone know what the exact movement is to cause the calender to appear.
From the lock screen, when I drag any of the camera, phone, or email apps into the ring it opens the appropriate app as I would expect. However when I drag the messages icon into the ring it only unlocks the phone and brings me to my default home screen.
Is this right or is something broken on my end? I have tried to send messages and see if it would work when I had an unread message. It worked at least once and opened messages, but 99% of the time it just unlocks?
Appreciate any feedbak, the ROM is awesome, love it, and this is a tiny issue or question!
Thanks!
Have you placed a different app there then put "Messages" back onto the lock screen shortcuts?
Thanks, adding another, then readding messages seems to have fixed it.
Appreciate the response!
Just to add the app just needs to be remapped, you don't have to change to another and then back, it just doesn't seem to point to the correct one to begin with. My default home screen shortcut didn't work either.
As a noob, it took me a while to find where to change the lockscreen setting. KrisPeezy pointed it out in the development thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1267158&page=193 "menu-personalize-display-lock screen shortcuts"
Figured I'd add it here for anyone else who needs it.
All of a sudden I'm having a strange problem with notifications in the notification bar. It use to be till today when I got an email and I could read the top line then two finger pull down to reveal more. Since today it's the opposite all the notification is showing and I have to two finger push up to get it back to one line.
Any help on getting it back normal would be appreciated
I've noticed this behavior as well. I thought it was just me.....
Its very odd can't find any settings for it. Tried disabling and re enabling notifications but still happening
by default the first notification is expanded, might be you had other notifications before
that does make sense and could very well be the reason then usual do have a pile of emails as well as texts, but binned an email account as it was mostly junk. thanks for reply
Hi,
It's weird that no one still hasn't posted this.
After upgrading to stock 4.04 ROM, it is impossible to dismiss an all-day event from the Lock Screen. Snooze works fine.
You draw the 'Dismiss' button towards the lock ring, you see some animation then, as though the reminder is going to be dismissed, and then you see that the reminder just won't go from the lock screen. It keeps reappearing no matter how many times you "dismiss" it.
So far, I only experienced this with event reminders from People Calendar (birthdays and anniversaries), but I'm pretty sure it can be reproduced on all types of all-day events.
Also, two notable things:
1. After you unlock the display and dismiss the event right from within the calendar app, you see the notification bubble at the bottoms of the screen saying "The event may be deleted". WTH?
2. No matter if reminder settings for People Calendar are set to "none", when you create or even change an existing contact, then the reminder for the corresponding event will be set to "12 hours".
Anyone?
PS: On 4.03 stock ROM, everything was perfect.
PPS: I even factory reset the phone and this didn't help either.
Guys! Shame on you
Even Football confirmed that the issue does exist.
Pity there is no reaction or feedback from the community.

It's a feature, not a fault.
It's always been the case that 'all day' events in the calendar will display on the lock screen 'all' day.
Personally, I find it handy, and make use of the fact it stays there on the lock screen all day.

I'm afraid you are mistaken.
The reminder "pops up" on the lock screen 12 hours before the actual event starts.
Also, it wasn't the case on the 4.0.3. stock. Everything just worked as expected.

Same here.
Anyone sent email to HTC?
Sent from my HTC One X using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
i have the same problem
Many times after completing a call, moving the phone away from my ear, the clock alarm setup is displayed and I have clear it. Apparently somehow I am activating it during the call. For the life of me, I can not determine how it happens.
Anyone else experience the same, and if so, how do you prevent it from occuring?
TIA

If you swipe down from the status bar to show the notifications panel then tap on the time, it will take you to the alarm panel for the clock app. Maybe something is keeping the screen active even though it's off for the call. The swipe or double tap to wake feature on some of the custom kernels can keep the screen active for touches even though the screen is off
