[Q] Play a SWF Game on Nexus 7 - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Hello,
i'm from germany and i have a little question or problem.
I will play a swf game on my Nexus 7.
On my HTC One X it works fantasic with a swf player, on my Nexus 7 not.
I've installed hacked flash player for Android 4.4 and have succesfully checked with dolphin browser that i've installed it right.
The problem is, that all swf player apps (over 15 i've downloaded) say to me that i don't have installed adobe flash player...
It's a swf game and not a swf animation witch i can play on dolphin browser or something else.
Hope someone can help me.
Sorry for my bad english.
Good day !

[request] .flv player???

Anyone got a working one??
Did you try these:
Youtube Player (freeware): play some kind of FLV videos, but not everyone. It's depends of the codification!
TCPMP: for this app there's an plugin to execute this kind of videos.
if you want, i can send this files to your e-mail! Or u can use Google!
that'd be ace. I have TCPMP and youtubeplayer, TCMP won't play it though and youtubeplayer plays it but really laggily lol. ill try the addon
re
hello,
i use coreplayer for this, but unfortunately no support for codec On2 VP6
installed the addon but nothings changed TCPMP can't play it lol
A custom version of TCMP called TCMP Project 5500 plays On2 VP6 coded videos. It supports Touch HD, too, although there are some minor interface glitches.
downloaded that and it works but how come some flv videos and other file types are really laggy when they play - it's really annoying, any explanations?
I just reduced the reproducing speed, (less than 100%) , using GDI, it works...
Yeah I have been reading it. So many people seem to have this problem. Most people are on their 4th replacement and still no luck.
I also have a faint flicker when loading market it's not that noticeable. Not sure if it will get worst like others have experienced.
What are you going to do El? Are you going to send it back

[Q] Problem with mp4 files on FroYo

Hello,
I have quite serious problem after OTA. I can't play movies from facebook mobile web page (m.facebook.com). On 2.1 that was working fine. Now video player writes "can't play video". I tried to open video also withe Opera mini. Opera can't play it, but game me option to download it as MP4. After downloading it and try to play, she same issue - "can't play video". I tried on few videos, but the same result. I have unrooted Desire with no branding, EU.
Please excuse me my english.
I have that problem too - sometimes... but after restart it works again. However I have a constant problem with the videoplayer zooming too much - ex if on the real video there is three people, then after Froyo the same video zooms too much and you can only see the one in the middle...??? Is there a place to change the resolution for playback ( 4:3, 16:9, zoom like on a regular tv or is there a better videoplayer than the standard one?)

Make it 3 .. now I can't play my mp4 videos after Froyo upgrade.. Hmm Rock player seems to play it on my hero but it is slow.. not smooth as my previous player in 2.1..

some flash videos not playing..

Since FLash player 10.2 came out for our phones, I noticed that a lot of web sites seem to not PLAY flash video anymore using a browser such as MIREN, BOAT or even the stock sense browser..
does anyone know why? for instance? try to play videos on www.unlimitedsounds.com/blog .. they no longer play but did in 10.1 flash
Thanks....

Kingdom Rush

Been playing this game on my ipad, but just realized that the original game is made in Flash.
Works great in our nexus!
One question I have is that is it possible to save or download it so I can play offline?

OOPS, i missed the part where you figured it out... i'll leave my post in case it helps someone else.
pretty simple...
go on your computer, load the game, this downloads the SWF file to your browsers cache, i use Chrome, so my browser cache is C:\Users\xformulax\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache
in this folder there is a file that is 22,398 kb (the same size that downloaded when you clicked "play" on the webpage)
rename the file from whatever it's called (f_000373 for me) to kingdom.swf, or whateveryouwant.swf
copy this file to your phone and install SWF Player from the market (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.issess.flashplayer&hl=en)
open swf player and choose yourgame.swf on your sd card.
enjoy.
Doest anybody know if kingdom rush will be added to android/google play one day ?

[Q] stock video player

I bought my daughters nexus 7's for christmas and took them out to get them set up and get some of their favorite games installed and load some of our videos on that they like to watch on my phone. I noticed that the stock video player on the nexus 7 doesn't play many different video formats, basically only mp4 files. The stock touchwiz video player on my galaxy s3 has played every file I have thrown at it with no stuttering and no problems. I was wondering if there was a way to get the video player from my phone onto the nexus 7, would it be possible to use titanium backup to back the video player up and just install the apk on the nexus 7s, or is it more tied into the touchwiz ui than just the video player apk? I know I can use mx player, or another one from the play store, but honestly, I have never found one that outperforms the stock galaxy s3 video player.
Yes! Thank you!

I agree 1000% percent. I have some free MKV files that came with purchased movies. I was able to copy them to my Galaxy S3, as well as AVI's, and it played them flawlessly, not conversion, just like I would play these on my Windows PC or Playstation. I too dont want to install some app from the market and additional codecs to try and get my MKVs to play. But I did try, and it doesnt work. This tells me there's something in the Samsung S3 VideoPlayer app that can play these videos, and that means it should easily be able to run within Nexus 7. I too am trying to find the valid VideoPlayer.apk to try and install it on my Nexus 7. Have you tried that yet? Let me know if you do get it to work. I really love my Nexus, but a few things irk me. No support for Adobe Flash, the video camera app is set to 480p but found posts where you can turn on the ability for 720p, and this, playing MKV and AVI files.
