Kingdom Rush - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Been playing this game on my ipad, but just realized that the original game is made in Flash.
Works great in our nexus!
One question I have is that is it possible to save or download it so I can play offline?

OOPS, i missed the part where you figured it out... i'll leave my post in case it helps someone else.
pretty simple...
go on your computer, load the game, this downloads the SWF file to your browsers cache, i use Chrome, so my browser cache is C:\Users\xformulax\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache
in this folder there is a file that is 22,398 kb (the same size that downloaded when you clicked "play" on the webpage)
rename the file from whatever it's called (f_000373 for me) to kingdom.swf, or whateveryouwant.swf
copy this file to your phone and install SWF Player from the market (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.issess.flashplayer&hl=en)
open swf player and choose yourgame.swf on your sd card.
enjoy.

Doest anybody know if kingdom rush will be added to android/google play one day ?

[Q] watching movies

Ok I know this is a really dumb question but is there an app or a way to download movies and watch them in good quality? I assume the file size would be to big for even the evo. Any advice? Thx
I use double twist to sync music and movies.

[Q] aDownloader/Music

G'day.
So I have just begun using aDownloader on my phone, thanks to a rather generous data allowance App seems to work sweet and downloads happen as they should.
Since I have been dl'ing a bit of music lately, I thought I'd also make use of one of the stock music apps. As soon as I opened one of them, I found all the music I had dl'd had loaded automatically into the playlists, which was great...
I have now dl'd some more music, but it's not being picked up by the music app...I have looked for an "import" type function and even created a "Music" folder on my SD to store everything in the hope the music app would see that and draw from it.
So...how do I get my music (or anything) from aDownloader to where I want it to be? I have Root Explorer and ES File Explorer, so I can move things around if required...
Cheers.
You can move it with astro but use SD rescan to fix file paths

.MP3 works, .WMV doesn't

Hi
I've tried copying .mp3 files to the Nexus and they work fine, end up in the music section of the phone as expected. I've even put photos on the phone, but I can't put video files.
When I plug my phone into the computer I proceed to move my .wmv files onto the phone into the 'movies' folder, but I cant find it on the phone. I've tried putting my files into the 'pictures' folder etc but still nothing.
However when I go to settings>storage I can see that my video file on the phone is actually there as my total available memory will decrease.
How do I import and play .wmv and other video files on this phone? I've searched a few threads but nothing directly answers this that I could find.
That isn't right, someone want to give some detail on this? Haven't tried it yet but it would be good to know. Maybe the Nexus doesn't accept .WMV.
Try

The W in WMV stands for Windows, just a little hint as to why it may not be supported in Android. That doesn't mean a codec for Android (ICS) isn't available.

App for Streaming Video

I have looked around, and can't find any information in threads that are not at least a year old. I use airplayit on my ipad to stream videos stored on my desktop to the tablet and it works fairly well. However, their android app crashes on my phone when I try to add a computer for it to stream from. I also tried an app called skifta from the play store, however it crashes when I open it. I am trying to find, Ideally, one program that will work for both my ipad and my phone, but if that is not possible, just a good one for my phone would suffice.
Any ideas?
I like BS player. It has a LAN mode that you can use to stream media. It so far Plays all of my .mkv files without stutters.
I use Plex media server

Somewhat on this same note...Do any of you use p2p4u.net for streaming sports? If so, have you been able to use it on your E4GT?

This seems to be exactly what I was looking for. 5 bucks is the most I've paid for an android app, but I just might have to do it.
I for one would love to see Google do for video files what they did for music (Google Play Music). Streaming videos via your pc to phone while on the same network is a nice feature but having it in the cloud would be a plus.
I use bs player as a player, but have set up an ftp server on my home pc and navigate to it through es file explorer.

Okay in the process of trying to find an app that could stream video files as well as music & document files I came across an app called ZumoCast. This app is specifically made to run on certain Motorola devices but doing some searches here on XDA I found a patched version, installed it on my phone and thus far it works flawlessly (well almost), no widget support & album art doesn't always show up.
I haven't tried it while I'm away from home so I can't really tell you how well things would stream outside the network but in house it works great.
Attached you will find the apk & here is the link to the windows install file (sorry iOS users no support for you guys at this time)
Enjoy

Thanks. I'll have to give this a try. I was getting weird errors with plex and it didn't want to play back most of my video files for some reason
I use ES file explorer to access all my files: system, network, ftp, and cloud. They all stream flawlessly and I just play them on DICE player. Love the new popup player.

Block a mp3 file from player?

Hello XDA, I have a few audiobooks that I have ripped from CD and put them on my phone as >mp3 files...does anyone know of a way to "block" them from the music player apps?...its annoying when you want to rock out going down the road and song is over and starts playing a chapter of my book...lol...maybe they could be renamed or something or converted into a diff format perhaps?..Any help is greatly appreciated...Dirty
Well I use Player Pro and I know there's a setting that let's you choose or restrict which directories the player will look for music. This option is definitely helpful as before I started taking advantage of it, sound bytes from downloaded games would appear in my list of songs.

With out purchasing anything... make some playlist. Other wise get a poweramp as it has my vote too.
Use some sort of file browser, browse to mp3 file. Place a period at the very beginning of the file name using the rename feature of the file browser.

You can download hideitpro from play store and hide the audiobooks that way.
