PLEASE tell me how did you delete that clock widget? What happened after you deleted that widget? Were you forced to use another widget or do you just have the 5 shortcuts at the bottom of the Lock screen? I really want to have just the 5 shortcuts at the bottom of the Lock screen

When on the lock screen if you slide your finger down like you were going to pull the status bar down the clock widget should spin the whole screen...then is you hold down on it you should be able to remove it like you would an app of your home screen

I've just tried that mate..I moved the widget into the waste basket but it forces me to use another widget..
Could I have a look at your lock screen?

Remove every single widget on your lockscreen, until you see the screen + ONLY. Do not add anything, just press the back button and lock the screen then turn it back on again and you should see your circle widget!

Does anyone know how to get the stock lock screen clock back?!

[Request] Left clock on lock screen

Can anyone place the clock and date text on the left of the stock GS3 lock screen? I prefer that over the standard center clock that's stock.

Yes find the S4 lock screen mod. It will put it on the left side. Check the Theme section.
Have a great day!

Would you happen to know if there's a way to get the 'life companion' text as well? I've seen it done on other devices but not for ours, I'm just wondering.

How could I remove everything on my lock screen?

I'm currently using Nova on my Galaxy, and I'd like to know how I could remove the alarm clock info, the taskbar(if could make it transparent that would be fine also), the T-Mobile text (it doesn't show in the picture, but it's there), and the way when I pull down it shows that useless box/outline. I'd prefer to keep Nova as well. I don't want anything on my lock screen.

Are you rooted?

Nova doesn't control the lockscreen at all, look in the system settings for lockscreen options. And if your ROM supports transparent notification's bar then under Nova settings (May be a Nova Prime only feature) there should be an option for transparent notification bar support.
Yes, I'm rooted.

There's no in system lock screen option to make it transparent, or at least I can't find it. In nova there is, but it only makes it transparent in the home screen, not lock screen.

G3 features with 3rd party launchers?

will my device still retain features such as knock on, knock codes, lg's customized nav buttons, qslide apps, multi windows if I use a 3rd party launcher like nova launcher?
yes. the only thing you will lose is the lg specific widgets, the lg health page and the ability to knock off anywhere (you can still double tap the status bar to knock off)
i'm using nova and all the other lg stuff works great

Thanks, but how about the nav buttons? I don't want to lose the ability to rearrange the nav buttons and quick notification pull down button
Yes all of that will work fine

I wish there was a way to still get the LG widgets and health app outside of the stock launcher. I'd also love the lock screen clock as a widget

Knock off will only work if you double tap the status bar. It's unfortunate.

I found a solution by binding nova launcher gesture to a screen off app
I'm also using Nova. I wish it came with gestures for locking the screen. It would have been easier to replicate the knock off feature

If you are using Nova Launcher, you can create a shortcut to the LG Health app.

I found the "Turn Off" little free app works beautifully for that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.marinelli.android.TurnOff
Just install it, then bind the double tap gesture in Nova to "Turn off" shortcut, and you get an exact replacement for Knock Off.
Turn Off utility works great. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the lead on the program, and for the tip on hitting the notification bar.
I was afraid I'd have to make the tough choice between the functionality of the double-tap and just using Nova.
Forgive me if I missed the explanation, but why doesn't the double-tap just work in Nova like in the standard launcher?

I think that the double tap gesture in Nova needs to be tapped on a blank/empty area without any icons/shortcuts/widgets.
using g3 tweaksbox I set the double tap on home key to turn screen off and enabled double tap on status bar. so when using phone with one hand I can reach the home button easily.

Want more than 3 screens?

I found this out by mistake. If your 3 screens are full and you drag a widget on to it you can create another screen for that widget and then delete the widget and the screen will stay. I don't Know if it will be there after reboot though.

Do a pinch on one of the pages of your homescreen and you'll get an overview of your homescreen pages and a plus, push the plus and you'll add one page.

- Hold and drag to "delete" if you want to get rid of one.

AOSP style lockscreen shortcuts

Hi all,
I really like the stock lock screen, mostly because of the clock but I dont like the way I have to drag shortcuts to unlock the phone to that app. It's there a way to mod the stock lock screen so I can slide the lock icon in a specific direction to unlock a specific app, like AOSP? Thanks
