Try putting in this code *#*#4636#*#*
In your dialer app, and then go to phone information and select turn on SMS over IMS.

SMS = Short Message Service
Over
IMS = IP Multimedia Subsystem
The IP Multimedia Subsystem*or*IP Multimedia Core Network Subsystem (IMS) is an architectural framework for delivering IP multimedia services.[emoji4]

Have tested over cellular data and WiFi with no luck on either.
Was working before rooting.

Are you using Adblock? I had the same issue on my rooted att g3. Disabling Adblock fixed it immediately. I heard it blocks port 80.

indeed I am. I'll give it a shot and report back. Thanks!
EDIT: That was it. Interesting. Wonder why they are blocking that port. I don't see any options to include/exclude ports in the settings of Adblock.
Here's an interesting thread on their forums...seems they have no interest in fixing it. Guess I'll look elsewhere for an ad blocking solution.
Thanks warchild

I am using AdAway instead. To be honest, it doesn't appear to be working nearly as well as AdBlock did unfortunately.

MMS over Wifi

Hello I have the Juggernaut 5.0 Tom installed and everything is working great except when I try to send an mms over wifi it just says "sending..." for a very long time and then fails. I did install a .zip called mms over wifi. Is there something I have to configure? Thanks in advance.

Regardless you need to have 4g 3g on to send over wifi on. Even on wifi calling. I don't remember any device sending it over wifi with data off.
The only way I have found to send MMS over wifi, even on the stock rom, is with Handcent SMS from the market. You don't need to have cell coverage at all and it's on par with GOSMS as far as customizing goes. Pic of phone state - I send messages like this all the time.
Worth a try...

U can try turning wifi off..wait a couple minutes..turn it on and try mms again. It worked for me. If not fix permissions via rom manager. Reboot and see if it fixed.

The thing is everything works with my data off and I'd like to keep it that way. Just thought I was doing something wrong. Anyway to make it so it turns data on just when sending an mms?

Only app i know can do this is tasker. It will automate the process. Which is does for anything you program.
If you're willing to switch roms, digital warfare sends mms over wifi without having to turn on data.

You may need to fix your apn settings. Are you trying to connect to AT&T?
What SMS/MMS client are you using ?
Ever since upgrading to JB, using mrRobinson's method, I can't send MMS using Handcent anymore.
However, using the built in SMS/MMS client, MMS are correctly sent.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app without success.
Interesting notes : received MMS show correctly in both clients (handcent and built in)

Try going into Settings/More.../Mobile Networks/Access Point Names
If you're APN isn't showing, or isn't set up properly, hit the menu button (bottom left), select "New APN", then set it up as shown in the screen shots here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34924360&postcount=2
After you set it up, save it, then select it. You might want to reboot at this point but it may not be necessary. After this is set up right you should be able to get mms.
Hope this helps! :good:

I had the same problem when i installed JellyBean747 Milestone 7 Graystone Edition. i tried everything possible, and nothing worked. so i just gave up and flashed cm10 and it worked fine. it would be nice to know what the problem is
Did a quick search and found this old post on using tmob devices on att networks. Says to use wap.cingular APN instead: http://forums.att.com/t5/Data-Messa...-setting-for-unlock-t-mobile-TAP/td-p/1908611
I'm on AoCP and wap.cingular is the default APN. Working great for me.
Screenshots of my settings attached, might be worth a shot.

You installed xposed, restarted, installed the rootcloak module, restarted, added the app and restarted? You have to install the xposed app then install the framework from inside the app, then restart.

Did all that and got past the "your phone is rooted" error. But now I get this message instead.
Haven't seen that error. Maybe try clearing data for Isis? Try doing it on WiFi too. Sounds like it can't establish a connection with Isis servers.

Tried clearing data, reinstalling, connecting both on WiFi and LTE. Nothing!
Try to contact Isis then, it sounds like a problem on their end.

Was working great for me but I did an OTA update and now it won't work even though android does say it is starting the app when I boot up after manually copying and setting permissions. Kernel date is June 16.
Tapped It!

HD Voice flag

I just got off the phone and seen a little yellow flag on the dialer that says HD Voice.
What does this mean? First time seeing that.
Never seen a flag. Next time try and screenshot it
I forget vol and power button?
I saw it the other day at work. Assumed it was VoLTE?
HD Voice is a feature of T-Mobile that works not because of VoLTE. Both handsets must support the function for it to work. Clarity is much greater with HD Voice calls. It's like night and day comparison.

Vol down and power
Thanks for the explanation! Oh so it only works mobile to mobile and they have to both support the feature? Interesting. Seemed pretty clear I guess.

I dont think it's limited to mobile to mobile. I made a call to a voip line and it showed up as HD Voice.

It is not. I make calls on HD voice all day where I live and work.
A bit of irony is that HD voice doesn't work when one of the HD voice compatible phones are on T-Mobile's WiFi calling...
It a work in progress should be ready by 2020 Lmao. It t mobile speeds
I've had that since I got the phone, August 2nd.

This is not VoLTE, this is HD protocol calls/handshaking. Two totally different things.
I only get it when talking to my mother in law. She has a Note 3.
I saw it on my G3 the other day as well.
