Can't send mms multimedia message picture

Hello,
I was unable to send pics I save from chive via text message. Error is attached. This is the first time this has happened. Any pic I take with camera have been fine.
I have tried going to messaging/settings/mms settings/creation mode/toggled warning or free
Files are jpg.

We would love to help. But we need more details. Are you using stock software, a custom ROM, or what. Every custom ROM has its own little quirks. We just need more info to narrow down the problems. What have you done,mod wise, to your phone?

Yes stock Telus software now.

What other details would you need? It only happened on pictures that I would save from the chive. I understand if they are too big but all other pics shared to any app, they resize to fit and send as mms no problem.

Is your data turned on? I am unable to receive mms if I'm ONLY on wifi (data off).

[ROM][UCALG1][27Jul][V1.2][I747] WanamLite Smooth,Stable & Battery Friendly with telus and I cannot receive picture msgs. Anyone know of a fix?

I had the same problem and after going crazy trying to fix the issue I called tech support and they said that they were having tower issues in my area.
WhiteHot GS3.

have you tried another text app like go sms pro just to see if that works? there is also a setting in the stock app that should be on download mms automatically

File is a jpg. I have taken pictures with my phone and no issue sending them as a mms text message....please help.

This is a very odd issue and would love to get this addressed sooner then later....

Hello guys, I was just wondering if anyone using their e4gt on virgin mobile has working MMS? I had a flash able fix that worked on cm9 but it won't flash and was just hoping to get MMS working. Thanks in advance

Hmmm I don't quite understand your last statement but try go SMS as a work around! If you don't like go SMS just go into settings of go SMS and uncheck get notify on new SMS/MMS you will still get notify of new SMS/MMS on stock MMS app that's baked in the rom! Head back over to the thread as I rarely come here to check stuff out!

Well I've been using Heywire for MMS but it'd be nice to get them sent to my actual phone number and show up in the normal area

are you referring to the mms fix? because i tryd the cm9 boost mobile mmsfix zip twice and it stll didnt work.. im on CM10 JB ROM

I'm on virgin mobile but I'm sure if you have a MMS fix for boost it should still work. From what I understand it just sets a couple MMS setting in the hidden menus

I've got PA 4.1.1 with fully working MMS but on cricket. I also have a flashable fix for cm9 and cm10 (found in epic 4g forum here on xda), but it doesn't flash correctly on JB. The solution for me was to just extract everything from the zip and manually move the contents to their respective locations, applying correct permissions (did everything with root explorer).

I'm not actually sure. I I'd try going to one of the boost threads and if that don't work PM someone who has it working. I good luck

UMTS on Frosty JB v11.2.1 rom

Did a search and didn't notice anyone else with this problem. Ever since I flashed Frosty I noticed that im stuck UMTS 3 and never switch to HSPAP. Wondering if there was something I missed.
And yes I did a clean flash.
Anyone else have this issue and is there a fix?

Not sure this helps but I seem to be also stuck. I am using frosty with stock kernel and canadian variant baseband. I don't know enough about these things to even know what the difference is but its something I will investigate next couple of days to see if it does switch.
You have your network mode set to auto ?

Yep set to auto. And dunno if it makes a difference but im using Branzo's winter theme.

Try going into the settings themselves and actually manually setting it to HSPAP.

Dunno which settings you have, but mine only has the option to change between gsm and wcdma. And on gsm I would only get 1g/gprs...

Could it be because I went from stock ICS to a stock, but rooted JB update and then straight to Frosty? My basebamd still says UVLJ4; instead of UVLJA, so I might have missed something?

Hi i have this problem my galaxy s3 T999 stuck in EDGE:2 no change please help me i flash this modem UVLJA no work

torrents wont download without wifi

I have been trying to download torrents with utorrent off of atts network and it is at 0% for everything. In settings I have upload limit 1 and download limit at 1000.
I have wifi only disabled too.

Try t torrent, works like a charm.

Are you sure you aren't downloading a torrent with no seeds and 100 leechers?

All carriers block torrent sites now. You have to be on wifi to download from them.

Sync button disappeared after update

So after my ota update, I got the new multi window button but in turn lost my sync button. Anybody know how to activate sync now? I've tried under settings> accounts, but there is no option. Now my phone doesn't update my emails. Does anybody else know what I'm talking about? Pls help.
