I have reset my phone to factory default from settings, but now it's like it does not have synchronized the google things I had before, it has not, for example recreated my wifi passwords and I had to install my apps manually, do any of you have any idea what may have occurred I had to manually login to my google account when the phone was done with the LG phone setup.

My dad and I both have DHDs, he had a problem with his phone so I did a Nandroid backup and restored it on his phone by transferring the files over. This worked well, and I removed my accounts from his phone and restored his SMS, Contacts etc.
Weird thing is, when he installs something - it also installs it on my device even though we are logged on separate Google Accounts. I can no longer install apps from the Play store website because I receive the error, "There are no Android phones associated with this account". I have tried to remove the account and then add it again to my phone but that didn't work. I cleared the Google Play App's data and cache and restarted - that didn't work.
Any other suggestions?
Okay, so I was able to resolve this by:
Removing my Google Account
Clear Google Play app data
Restart phone
Open Google Play and Sign in
Install a GAPP (Youtube, Gmail, Maps etc.) app (or update) - this will force the Play store to recognise the phone through the PC.
I am now able to remotely install apps via my PC.
Really strange indeed

Maybe a file linking the two together?

Check if you have something like Titanium Backup or any other app that might be messing with the accounts. Try doing a wipe cache and dalvik. If the issue persist, then try reflashing a rom (after a full wipe)
You saved me!

I scavenged the web everywhere for a solution to this, and this is the only piece of information that actually solved my problem. Thank you for sharing!
This happens to me sometimes as I flash all kinds of roms, and restore old backups. It seems to have something to do with the device ID not being updated properly after a restore, or something. Anyhow, this does the trick without having to wipe the phone.
I followed this youtube video to remove my google account: aopjd5agMTY
I have a GN2 with the latest ARHD (12.0) installed. Just noticed that it will not sync to Google, I always get the message "sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly"
Except that it never does.
As a result I can't sync contacts, Chrome settings, and can't even log in to Google+ on the GN2. I don't know how long this has been happening.
Yet on my Galaxy Nexus I never have a problem with the same account. Google syncs every time. So it's not a Google-side problem, but a phone-side problem. . Does anyone know how I can fix this, short of a factory reset? (a factory reset would mean setting everything up from scratch, since nothing has been synced or saved).
I wouldn't recommend factory reset but if it comes to it then there are numerous other apps to backup your stuff.

This usually happen when contact storage or calendar storage file corrupted.
follow these steps
- make sure ALL your contact and calendar are already on Google account or you will lose all these data during this process.-
1. go to clear data of "Contact", "Contact Storage Data", "Calendar" "Calendar Storage Data" in "application manager"
2. remove your google account in your phone.
3. reboot your phone(require) or reboot to recovery do cache and dalvik cache wipe(optional)
4. add back your google account in your Galaxy Note 2.
5. wait your phone sync your cloud data back in your phone.
Done.
This has 99% chance to solve your problem.
Hi, i recently did a factory reset on my tab pro 8.4 and noticed that some games still have my save files with them. i assume this is because of the Google sync. Is there a way of completely deleting everything thats synced so i can have a fresh start?
I found out how to delete it, anyone else who wants to do this, just go to the Google settings app and clear appdata.
Thank you for the info.
I've just started to use the Google data backup. I usually blocked that feature.
A couple of Q's for you, if you don't mind.
Does app data get backed up automatically or does it have to be done manually ? (I'm curious if there's an option to overwrite or not).
Is it possible to find out by logging into your Google account that's associated with GP, which apps have saved data ?
And if you have two or more devices and run the same app on both (different configs), is it smart enough to know which data belongs to which device, when you restore ?
Maybe going off topic a bit, I recently bought "Smart Remote", and to back up it's settings online, it wanted me to create a G+ account.
I didn't, so I had to use Titanium Backup.
To back up the data from any app, do I need to create a G+ account, before the process will work ?
Thank you.
Guys , i updated my HTC 10 to the Android Nougat today. i backed up my data on my gmail account and factory reset the phone. After resetting and logging into my gamil account, my settings, messages and wifi etc are note restored. It has never happened before with any of my earlier phones namely, One X, M8. Please help and suggest me how do i restore my messages...
They are really important to me.
Before a factory reset, and of course after saving a few things, I go to settings > accounts & sync > Google > synch all
On reboot after factory reset and loging to my Gmail account, it syncs and it asks if I want to retore all of my apps ans apps data...
Unfortunately, it is not dong that... Maybe there is some issue. Is there any way possible that i can get my data back???? The most important thing is need is my messages.... Text messages i mean. Those are very important to me.
Any help will be appreciated...
Have you looked in Google Drive settings?
I did a TWRP backup before testing out Xposes for 8.1. Decided to restore the backup and now I have connection issues. Chrome won't load pages, gmail won't open email messages (spinning circle), can't add new gmail account as it gets stuck on Checking Info until it finally says "problem communication with google servers". There are also some other random apps that won't connect.
However, some apps like Firefox, Google Play have no issues. I checked the host file and restored it to only show "127.0.0.1 localhost". Also wiped twice and tried the restore again with no luck.
I was going to try to dirty flash the current image over what I have now to see if that would resolve it, but wanted to see if anyone else may have some solutions first.

It appears everything is working normally again after a dirty flash.
