Since I have upgraded my LG G Pad (US Version) to 4.4.2 using LG Support tool (official upgrade), it has become unstable. It reboots after every 5 or 10 minutes. I have done the following to troubleshoot:
1. Remove SD Card
2. Perform Factory Reset
Nothing has helped.
Has anyone else also faced similar situation? Any idea hot to fix this?
Please assist.
Were you Rooted before the update?
Please connect your g pad to computer and try to do restore upgrade errors through LG PC Suite. This is what I did to fix randomly automatically Unmounted SD card after update to kit Kat using in LG Support Tool.

No. It was not rooted. It was on LG stock 4.2.2 ROM
I tried Recovery tool also, it did not help. Tried almost everything, still the same story.
Went to BestBuy yesterday. I had protection plan and returned it back to BB. They did not have any other LG G Pad, so bought Samsung 8.4 Pro tablet.
TaTa to LG G Pad. It was a great tablet, I loved it. Sad to see it go. Good luck to all.
I have d855 and there is an error which appears 10 times during the day. It says: unfortunately bluetooth has stopped. It doesnt matter if the blutooth is on/off When it happens. I did a factory reset but it keep on going. what should I do?

Are you rooted? If you are did you disable anything that could have caused this?

But I can see now that this error appears mostly after i installing some app from the market. It doesnt matter which app.
mine has started to develop this too...didnt do anything out of the ordinary...and I cant for the life of me fix the thing..funny thing is, the message comes up even when bluetooth is switched off..
Anything? Read somewhere its a common problem with the g3 and lg knows about it

Yeah might be.. I have the d855..i mean i can live with it..but its annoying as hell

Yeah, i think i had it for the last 3 firmwares...again, I read online that LG knows about this problem. However, no fix yet. If its common for all D855, than we should have more reporting it. But this thread has been fairly quiet

I re installed firmware via KDZ method. And I DID NOT restore my earlier LG Backup. Then the phone started working fine

found a fix
i have the vs985 being a Verizon modal i used the Verizon update assistant it took some plugging and unplugging but once i got the mangier to recognize the device it downloaded the correct updated used for a week it worked now i was using the 4.2.2 OS and updated to the **5.0 or 5.1 **not sure will check and also downloaded the USB drivers from the lg web-sight

Hey, everyone! I would REALLY like to root my Verizon LG G3 4.4.2. I've installed the Verizon Drivers, and it installed all the drivers just fine, but I only have two USB modes. MTP and PTP. It's starting to become VERY frustrating because I've tried reverting and reactivating USB Debugging, multiple reboots, I even tried Stump and it said "Device is patched, sorry."
I would love to ditch the stock OS and jump onto some CM12 as soon as possible! Thanks!!
EDIT: I found out that you need to be at the factory stock version that came with the phone since the update patched rooting. I found a downgrade tutorial link so I'll go through that!! Hope it works! lol
Hello! So I am in need of some help. So my problem is that I cant get my pc to recognize my g3, adb won't see it, I can't find it in my device manager either. Here's why I feel like I'm doing something wrong, I successfully rooted it and everything was gravy. Then I had a noob moment and accidentally deleted the settings (when I tried to access settings, it would force close) so I ended up having to use the lg flash to to get it back working. Now I try to use the exact same process to root and no matter what lg mobile driver I use I can't get my computer or adb to see my phone. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and Att lg g3 850 5.0.1

I bought an LG G4 from Aliexpress Two months Ago, I think it's an LG G4 H815T (hong kong version) It was working perfectly until I decided to upgrade the firmware (to android 6) with LG bridge and since I made this action, I could not get signal on the phone (most of the time) and some times I get full bar signal but only emergency calls are allowed.
I tried also to downgrade to android 5 again but with no succes (I tried all possible roms and for all variants)
the strange thing is that the phone was working quite good so I'm sure that it's not a hardware problem.
Can any one please tell How can I fix that?

I don't know if you are talking about the same issue but this occurred for me randomly. Before restart used to fix it but now nothing helps, also when I search for carrier it says your sim card can't connect to any or something like this although I have full signal bar :|

Try to restart the phone when it's connected to a power-supply or a running computer, it works for me
