I have not changed any settings in my phone, but recently all the pictures I am taking do not seem to automatically attach geotag information.
Anybody have any advice?
Inside settings, in location it is high accuracy mode...
Hi, you can try out Auto Stamper app.

I am using a HTC Sense ROM (VillainROM for the Desire, specifically) and tried testing out Geotagging for the first time today.
I set my GPS to on, and took the photo with the geotagging setting switched on in the stock camera app.
But when I imported it into iPhoto, it wouldn't show the location on the map.
I presume this is because it uses GPS to tag a photo and since the photo was taken inside it didn't get a location and thus didn't tag it?
If that's the case, is there anyway to force the camera app to use mobile triangulation for geotagging photos, or an app that can do this?
Anyone having issues with their gallery when trying to access it to add a picture from within an app like sms or facebook etc..? When I do this it will only load the camera pictures but not the rest of my pictures in different albums. I have to hit cancel and start the process again and the second time they always show up. This only happens when trying to access them from within another app, if I just go straight into the gallery from the app drawer it will always show all pics.
Working fine for me.
It runs slow for me. I figure it is because I have a ton of pictures or I'm syncing my Facebook albums.
Hello All,
So Im looking at my photos in the gallery and they're tagged with GPS info.
I've checked the camera and it says the geo location is off. I've tried to enter settings in the gallery app but doesnt seem to be an option. I've also checked my geo location in other apps and everything is turned off.
Does anyone know why this could be or how to turn it off?
Thanks for taking a look!
Not happening on mine.

I took some pictures with Geo Tagging enabled. I want to remove the location info from one of those pictures. I can't seem to do it at all on my phone.
Managed to delete the exif data from a Windows 10 box after downloading, but seems like I should be able to do it in Google photos.
Various Google search results say you can but, I don't have the option to on my pixel.
My son has an S7 that was having the same problem, but I followed these steps and it now syncs all the time:
Settings / Apps / menu / Special Access / Optimise Battery Usage / All Apps / find Photos / Disable (battery optimisation)
I've tried this on the S8 and there's no change. It will sync for a little while after the Photos app has been used, then it stops until you open it again. Any other ideas on what I can do to get Photos to sync without having to open the app?
