Hello XDA,
I flashed SJB v8.0 and used it for some days then i thought of going back to stock ICS due to camera quality, for a days i was good but i removed my battery to change the sim card, now the known bug has occured, the 100% battery bug.
I tried flashing the stock kernel again but still 100%, then i tried flashing the lupus kernel and all is well now, but i want to use a pure stock with just root & even after using lupus kernel for 2 days i flashed stock kernel again and still battery got 100%
I mean what is wrong with the stock kernel (WTF SONY).
I am having the same problem with my ARC and my gf's mini, i have read than keeping the battery out for some hours does the job but its not working for me.
Now i am stuck with GB and my gf too.

I have an annoying problem. Im currently runnin Supernova ROM, which has proven to be as unstable as early AMD CPUs and I have been trying to get to the original rom running the RUUxxx.exe. Problem is that the RUU flasher refuses to work because it things the battery level is below 30% (which actually is 90%). I have tried pretty much everything from wiping the battery stats and installing another rom after which I tried to install stock rom. It's a no go.
Anyone got any ideas how to go back to stock? Or do I just need to flash some other 'stock' rom made by a forum member?
P.S. I have tried with another battery as well.
Have you tried a Battery Calibration.
try battery caliberation.
So, here's the scoop. I put an overclock kernel on my phone a few months back, I can't tell you which one specifically. Problems started when i did some traveling and was switching back and forth between airplane mode and the battery running out of charge. tried fully charging the thing, fully emptying the battery. tried flashing up to doomlord's jb leak, and kernel, no dice, get an error when installing the zip
went back to 6.28 and got it to flash, then root and cmw, but still craps out after a few minutes. any ideas on how to regain stability?
Simon
It's almost like a heat thing. flashed full 6.28 and it seemed to be okay until it started trying to download apps. then crapping out all over the place. sometimes reboots, sometimes just hangs. tried to OTA the 3.7 update and failed twice before crashing a few times.
Well...by looking at your phone prob,it is most likely software prob, not hardware.....well,have you make sure yiu flashed the stock kernel too?And the overclock setting is back to stock again?

Hi, i have an xperia pro MK16i
initially the phone was slow so i used the custom rom and flashed the phone
but then after using it for some day i decided to roll back to the original ICS ROM as it was not stable enough
now here the actual problem started after loading the ICS "MK16i_4.1.B.0.587_Central_Europe.ftf"
the battery shows always 100% so not letting me charge the phone n when battery is exhausted shutdown the phone
so tried several other kernel n rom both generic and custom to check if only the official ICS has an issue or other also
some r working fine but facing the issue with other
so i decided to downgrade to GB, GB is working fine no issue battery charging, i tried to ICS upgrade using the Sony Update Service and PC Companion, but still facing the same issue
Please HELP.... I wanna switch to the Official ICS :crying:
Dear All,
I am having Xperia Pro MK16i
I am having problem in battery percentage output shown by android system, after flushing custom kernal which is supplied with legacyXPERIA CM11 rom (no issue at this time) and than I return back to stock ICS kernal, the battery is showing always 100%. Even if I connect charger it shows me charged.
Before flushing legacyXPERIA CM11 kernal, I have tired so many different custom kernal but, I like CM10, 10.1, NaA 3.4.0 kernal and return back to stock ICS, I was not having this issue any time.
For recovery of this issue I have tried to flush again the legacyXPERIA CM11 kernal (it will show the correct battery percentage) and get back to stock ICS will agnain show battery 100%. Than I tried to flush jush my backuped stock GB rom (it will show the correct battery percentage) and get back to stock ICS will show correct battery percentage.
Also the important thing it that, I found that this problem is happening every time i remove the battery.
If any one can help me, please give your suggestions what to do.
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem too; the only solution I found out to solve the problem was switching to lupus kernel ( on stock ics ). Try wiping everything flash the latest official firmware with flash tool and then flash lupus kernel for stock ics and see if your battery return to work properly:good:
flash lupus kernel if you are on the stock kernel
Just flash any kernel difrernt from stock.
LuPuS v16 for example if you on 4.1.B.0.587 based firmware.
it worked..
Thanks everyone.. i reflashed the kernal again and it started working.. normally again.:laugh:
*cheers*
