LTE calls go to voice mail. - Sprint LG G2

Anyone that calls me while I'm connected to LTE (band 25 is the only one up on my area). It rings once on their end and then forwards them to my voicemail. Never ever get an indication of having received a call on my end unless they leave a voicemail. Then I get a random vm icon with no explanation. <br />
<br />
Any ideas as to why this is happening? <br />
<br />
I just got the phone back yesterday. LG replaced the board chipset because when I received calls the phone would ignore my attempts to answer it. Outgoing was fine, incoming couldn't be answered.<br/>

Same here...just been living with it.

If it's happening to multiple people then chances are it's a network bug. Wonder if the ecsfb issues are the culprit?

SIPGATE.CO.UK - XML File Settings?

Hi,
Just trying to setup VoIP on my nice shiny 2.0 black device.
I use Sipgate.co.uk and their site is awful for trying to find settings.
Does anyone have a template I could use?
This one works for me with sipgate.de:
<wap-provisioningdoc>
<characteristic type="VoIP">
<parm name="SIPSettings"
value="<provision key='1232ab01' name='Sipgate'>
<provider name='sipgate' />
<user account='sip_user' password='sip_password'
uri='[email protected]'
allowedauth='digest'/>
<sipsrv addr='sipgate.de:5060' protocol='UDP' role='proxy'>
<session party='First' type='pc2pc' />
<session party='First' type='pc2ph' />
</sipsrv>
<sipsrv addr='sipgate.de:5060' protocol='UDP' role='registrar'/>
</provision>" />
</characteristic>
</wap-provisioningdoc>
thanks Raix!
I see that my SIP server (about all the info I have!) is .co.uk , so I will use your template and swap .de for .co.uk and pray!
How do you force the phone to use internet rather than cellular when dialing out?
thanks again
Scratch that... I'm stuck at Sipgate: Searching

Try dialing it does work, always says "searching".
Look at the different Post about Black V2 and VoIP. It always shows searching, but nevertheless it's logged on to the SIP account.
Start the phone application and look which provider is displayed. For me it's sipgate and i can make inbound and outbund calls over it.

Quick question, i can make free of charge calls to another sip user correct?? If so how do i dial them?
As far as i know you can make free calls to other supported Networks. And then you can just dial the Number. I think every sipgate User has a normal Landline-Number?
SIPGATE to SIPGATE is free
And yes thanks guys - I found the post in question, and yes, mine is connected! Although the test line (10000) appears to be in german, but maybe i got that wrong.

When i dial 10000 I get the english guy saying its all working etc...
So to dial other sipgate users i just dial the number before the @?? What about other sip networks?
You need to look which networks are partner networks of sipgate and then dial the assignend Phone Number to an Account.

I use Sipgate UK with a Sipura SPA3000, ports required are :-
Port 5060 TCP and UDP
Port 5004 UDP
Port 10000 UDP (sipgate Stun service - usually 3478/9)
Ports 16348-32768 UDP (RTP, RTCP multimedia streaming)
I also have port 3478 (TCP/UDP) forwarded as well.
It works fine.

NB.
Just set up VOIP on my TYTN, works fine over WLAn not tried it via 3g yet. I use Sipgate, XML info Below.

Skype
I'm probably missing something here - but doesn't skype do the same thing as sipgate? And isn't it easier to setup as well?
There is a cab for pocket pcs on their website.
Haven't tried either yet - but been following this topic...
Also subscribed to sipgate, using same xml info. Doesn't work on the Voda/3g network - although that may be due to tightwad employer only hacing gprs enabled for the BB devices?
WLAN works a treat - setp is a bit of a pain tho. Can see why people might stick with skype.

Not sure why but there is a HUUUUGE delay when calling pstn numbers using skype, plus the software seems to hog memory. but with sipgate its almost quicker than cellular!?! can hold a conversation quite nicely.
Weird
I have tried to alter the xml file to my own settings... I have Tiscali Voip... but that doesnt work... I made a sipgate.co.uk account.. I alter the xml file again..
Create a cab file...
But on my today screen it says always "internet calling: available"
Does someone have a idea? I read the whole toppic (+/- 20 pages about voip on WM6)

Incoming calls not coming though via Google Voice

I have been using GV for a while and had not problems until this week. My phone has been unusually quiet. Turns out that I am not receiving my incoming calls at all. I only figured this out because I was getting GV vmail notifications but there were no missed calls in my call log.
Has anyone else had this problem/ Does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks!!!!!
I think that you need to go to the google voice page and have it forwarded to your phone.

Thanks for the reply Ruben but I already have it forward to phone. Until this last week. I can get GV to forward to home, work, etc.... It just does not want to forward/work on my cell. I have had the DI since launch date and it fx well till now.
I though that maybe it was b/c I rooted but then I removed/reverted to back to stock and still no luck. My wife and brother have the same issue.... ODD
If you make a call outbound, does the caller id on the receiver's phone have your GV number? IE: Does it GV work outbound but not inbound?
Have you tried to un-forward and then re-forward the GV?
All outbound calls work. Also when making an out bound call it will display my GV #in the caller id. I have tried un forwarding and then re-forwarding. I've even hard reseted the phone. uninstalled the app and tried to see if I can receive calls. Reinstalled the app, changed settings to ask b4 making calls, deleted my phone from GV and re-added it. So far no luck.
I am getting the same problem. No incoming calls, but can do outgoing calls.
Running an unrooted N1 with FRF91
Just tested with my DInc by calling via GV to GV of my friend's DInc, still working for us.
Unrooted Incredible
GV is still a bit of a work in progress. I have had some minor trouble with it in the past. Sometimes you need to reset your settings or just wait it out if its an issues with their servers. For the most part it has been problem free.

True... I had it when it was Grand Central....until now I have had an flawless experience with GV. Seems like once they transitioned from invitations their servers became bogged down.

Sprint GS3 calling issues

I have 2 problems and I'm hoping that you guys can help me out here.
My friend has an att gs2 and whenever he calls me it goes straight to voicemail and I don't receive his text messages. He's not on my auto reject list so I don't know what the problem is.
Also, sometimes when I call people it won't even dial the number, I'll receive a tone that just beeps (as if the line is busy) and the call will hang up on its own, but the beeping continues.

Stuck on LTE

I updated the phone and when I try to call a call on LTE is hangs up calls. Also receiving calls send people to my voice mail. The phone supposes to switch to 4G when making calls and it doesn't switch.

T-mobile?

Anyone on T-Mobile with the 5z? I have sketchy incoming voice and sms services with excellent signal. Missed calls and sms that just doesn't show up. I've tried auto config in carrier settings and manually selected T-Mobile US LTE for the apn. No difference.
I have this phone also on tmobile here in the US, no issues what so ever.

I have used it on T-Mobile without issues for 4 month. Before that I was on Metro PCS which is T-Mobile light and also a stint in Europe using T-mobile networks there - all with no problems.
I suspect GV is the culprit since zen ui doesn't allow configuring voice mail from anything other than "carrier".
I wonder if that changes in 9.0
Thanks for the replies.
I have the same.issue sometimes I get missed calls and texts it's not often maybe once or twice a week. I was going to try getting a new sim card to see if that helps

This issue continues...anyone using Google Voice successfully on this platform with T-Mobile? I just use GV for voicemail and some occasional sms on my GV number. Kinda sucks as I've missed some important calls and texts.
